Actor
Neel Samarthh
, who has been part of shows like
Tera Kya Hoga Alia
, Kundali Bhagya, Waaris and Sapnon Ki Chalang and will be seen in
web series
Rose Garden, says that he was keen to explore OTT and films. The actor adds that he would like to experiment as an actor on other platforms as well.
'I would have definitely taken up another television project, but at this point in my journey, I feel it's time to take a step forward and explore web series and films. These formats not only allow me to challenge myself creatively but also offer the flexibility to shoot for a few days and dedicate some time to myself. Television has played a pivotal role in shaping my career whatever I am today because of it. It truly brought out the artist in me.
However, as we all aim to grow with time, I too wish to evolve and embrace new opportunities. That said, I remain open to television, especially if the role is meaningful and performance-driven,' he says.
Talking about TV, he says, 'I would love to take up roles on television that are equally male-oriented, as most shows tend to focus primarily on female-centric narratives. Television has played a major role in shaping me as an artist.

It brought out the true performer in me. That's exactly why I feel it's important to now justify that growth by taking on roles that allow me to be more creatively involved, rather than just standing in the background giving a hundred different reactions.
I'm looking for characters that have depth, complexity, and a strong presence in the story.'
However, OTT is here to stay, he says, adding, 'I truly believe the OTT boom is here to stay, it's the future of content.
Unlike television, where viewers are bound to a specific time slot, web platforms offer the flexibility to watch content anytime, anywhere. While television has certainly evolved over the years, I personally find web shows to be more real and relatable. They allow for subtle, natural performances and storytelling that feels closer to real life.
Plus, the freedom to binge-watch or watch on-the-go makes OTT content all the more appealing to today's audience'
As for his future plans, he adds, 'I'm focused on doing quality work rather than taking up anything and everything that comes my way. I've always believed in quality over quantity. I'm looking forward to roles that truly challenge me as an actor. For me, it's never been about the money, it's about meaningful, performance-oriented projects. I feel web shows, in particular, offer the kind of depth and substance I'm seeking right now.

Kajol opens up about parenting Nysa and Yug with Ajay Devgn: ‘They are very much their own people'

Kajol , who tied the knot with actor Ajay Devgn in 1999, is a proud mother to two children—Nysa and Yug. While she rarely shies away from celebrating her family on social media, the actress recently opened up about her parenting journey, the bond her kids share with her and Ajay, and how motherhood changed her. When asked if her children are more attached to her or Ajay, Kajol responded with her trademark wit and warmth, saying, 'They are both my children, I want to tell you that. Ajay Devgn is stage pe nahin baitha hua hai. Bata du. So they are both, honestly, they are my kids, they are his kids, they are our kids. And I am very proud to say that they are very much their own people.' 'I am Yug': Her son's diplomatic answer stole her heart Sharing an adorable anecdote from a conversation with her son Yug, Kajol recalled asking him who he wanted to resemble more—her or Ajay. She told Pinkvilla, 'I remember asking Yug, 'Who do you want to look like? Me or papa? Tell me fast.' He looked at me like I was holding a gun to his head and very calmly said, 'I look like Yug. I am Yug.'' The Maa actress said that moment summed up her children's individuality perfectly. 'I'm very, very happy to say that I've brought up two individuals who have their own personalities, who I hope I've taught to think for themselves. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 신차장기렌트 선납금 없어도 월 20만원대부터 가능할까? 렌트데이 더 알아보기 Undo That's been my biggest teaching as a parent.' On returning home: 'I am only mom' When Kajol walks back into her home after work, the transformation is instant. 'Mein jab bhi ghar pahunchti hu toh my kids are more like 'mumma', there's the whining and the 'why didn't you do this and why didn't you do that' that starts up. Once I see them, I am only mom. There's no other character I can play at that point.' Kajol Returns in Spine-Chilling Horror Drama 'MAA' | Myth Meets Fear Reflecting on the moment she first became a mother with the birth of Nysa in 2003, Kajol said, 'When Nysa was born, I felt like that's one exam I can't fail. I think my real-life performance has taken more out of me than any film will ever in my life demand of me.' Kajol is currently promoting her upcoming horror-mythology film Maa, directed by Vishal Furia and produced by Ajay Devgn. The film is slated for release on June 27.

'Puka is dead'? Rams star's viral Instagram name finally explained and it's all his mom's fault

Kirby Lee-Imagn Images Some NFL players have cool Instagram handles. Some keep it simple. And then there's Puka Nacua, whose IG username is… @pukaizded . If you've ever scrolled past it and wondered, 'Um, is he okay?' don't worry, it's not deep. In fact, it's hilariously petty mom energy, and we're absolutely here for it. Puka Nacua explains why his IG name is 'Puka is dead' and blames his mom During an interview on the 'Games With Names' podcast, Puka finally spilled the beans on why his Instagram sounds like a doom metal band. Turns out, back in eighth grade, Puka was sneaking around with a secret Instagram account. His mom, being the all-seeing parent she is, found it. But instead of just yelling at him, she did something way more savage: 'My mom, 8th-grade year, didn't know I had Instagram. My mom found my IG & changed it; she made it 'Puka is dead' to let me know I was in trouble.' Puka's mom changed his Instagram handle 💀 She literally renamed his account to tell him he was grounded. And the best part? He kept the username. Even now, as a rising NFL star, Puka still rolls with it, like a digital badge of childhood trauma and comedy. After the interview clip made the rounds on TikTok and Twitter/X, fans couldn't get enough. Comments poured in like: Honestly, the name makes way more sense now, and we kind of love him more for keeping it real. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Buy Brass Idols - Handmade Brass Statues for Home & Gifting Luxeartisanship Buy Now Undo From being 'dead' on IG to killing it in the NFL Puka Nacua absolutely exploded in his rookie season with the Los Angeles Rams. In a world where most athletes try to sound cool and mysterious online, Puka Nacua's handle is refreshingly real. He didn't just accept his mom's punishment, he made it his brand. Peak Gen Z energy.
