Aaryamann Sethi's girlfriend tests his father Parmeet Sethi's patience, actor says, ‘You are wasting time, I know your history'
'We just realised life has come full circle,' Yogita reflects in the vlog. 'We are literally back at the place where we first met.'
Aaryamann begins by saying, 'So I did a play last year…' But Yogita can't help interjecting: 'And I was in the audience with my acting coach. I remember telling him, 'I know I can act, but this Aaryamann is such a performer.' I was so inspired and moved by his performance. I took just four steps toward him, and said, 'Hi, I just saw your play. Your performance was really great.' And he said, 'Yeah, hi, thank you so much.' And now, here we are, shooting together.'
Aaryamann Sethi recalls not recognizing her initially, still emotional from the intensity of the performance. But things changed when he saw Yogita Bihani in a short film with his younger brother Aayushmaan Sethi. 'I was mesmerized. I thought, 'Who is this actress?' We both saw each other as performers first, and that created a mutual respect,' he says.
Yogita smiles and adds, 'Sometimes, the unexpected happens in life.'
Their sweet recollection is soon interrupted by an irritated Parmeet Sethi, who walks in and says, 'What are you doing? I've been waiting for over 30 minutes!' Yogita sheepishly responds, 'Did you know we met here for the first time?' Parmeet quips, 'I know your entire history.' When she tries to explain further, he cuts in: 'She's now wasting more time!'
Later, in the dressing room, Yogita Bihani is still not ready–testing Parmeet Sethi's patience once again. A makeup artist jokes, 'Shaadi mein itna time nahi lagega (Even weddings don't take this long).' To which Parmeet replies, 'Shaadi mein time dedenge (For weddings, we'll give the time).' A blushing Aaryamann Sethi mutters, 'What is happening?'
In a fun exchange, Aaryamann asks his dad, 'How's the assistant duty going?' Parmeet, visibly exasperated, snaps, 'I'm already brain-fried. Don't trigger me more. You guys are an hour late—and the main culprit is Yogita.'
Trying to play peacemaker, Aaryamann apologizes for his girlfriend. 'Why are you saying sorry? She should be the one,' Parmeet retorts. 'I am saying it for her,' Aaryamann replies. His dad gives him a knowing smirk and a simple, 'Acha.'
Later, during a break, Yogita Bihani playfully tells Parmeet Sethi, 'Uncle, there's a request in the comments section.' Intrigued, he asks, 'What is it?' She replies, 'They want you to make Badmaash Company 2 and cast me in the lead!' Parmeet smiles and says, 'If I get the right script, I'll cast you.' Yogita beams, 'Done! You just cast me!'
