Conduit Announces New Partnership With Braza Group in Brazil For Onchain FX

Business Wire12-06-2025
BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Conduit, a leading cross-border payments platform powered by stablecoins, announced today its partnership with Braza Group, which owns the largest foreign exchange bank in Brazil. Braza Group is Conduit's biggest client in Brazil to date, allowing Conduit customers to transfer currency between Brazilian Reais and American Dollars or Euros and settle in just a few minutes, using Onchain FX where stablecoins pegged to different currencies can be swapped in real time.
'Creating seamless on-ramps between fiat and digital currencies, together with Onchain stablecoin FX swaps, has the potential to completely transform how cross-border payments are made,' said Kirill Gertman, CEO of Conduit.
Braza Group processed more than $67 billion in transactions in 2024 and launched its BBRL stablecoin, pegged to the Brazilian Real, in February 2025. Through this innovative new partnership, when a Conduit customer uses the platform to make payments from Brazil to the U.S. or Europe in Brazilian Real, Braza Group will mint a stablecoin, which Conduit can swap for a U.S. or EUR dollar-backed digital currency, completing the transaction with the final recipient.
This new partnership strengthens Conduit's mission to build the most seamless and scalable payments network in the world, enabling settlements between Brazil and the U.S. or Europe in just two minutes — a sharp contrast to traditional systems that can take up to three days. By combining Braza Group's liquidity and investments in stablecoins with Conduit's global reach, the partnership unlocks the full potential of Onchain FX at scale. Clients will be able to easily switch between stablecoins and fiat currencies and settle global transactions quickly.
'Creating seamless on-ramps between fiat and digital currencies, together with Onchain stablecoin FX swaps, has the potential to completely transform how cross-border payments are made,' said Kirill Gertman, CEO of Conduit. 'Having Braza Group as a client has been exciting in many ways: seeing Conduit start to gain traction with major banks globally, and they fully embraced the vision of what we could build together, unlocking something truly innovative.'
Conduit's platform bridges crypto-native infrastructure with traditional finance, offering nearly instant, programmable global transactions with integrated AML, sanctions screening, and transaction monitoring built in. This new partnership with Braza is the latest in a growing line of major milestones since it launched its platform in September 2023. In late May, it announced a $36 million series A fundraising round, and its transaction volumes surged 16x in 2024, surpassing $10 billion in annualized payment volume. Working with Braza further strengthens two of Conduit's core value propositions, its ability to settle global transactions quickly and efficiently, and provide deep liquidity through its platform to ensure transactions can be settled without constraints.

"Braza Group's investment in the BBRL stablecoin aims to help Brazilians connect with the latest financial innovations on the global stage and enable local businesses to optimize their operations," said Arthur Carvalho, Head of Digital Assets at Braza Group. "Conduit's strong commitment to expanding the benefits of stablecoins globally and creating a more inclusive and transparent financial ecosystem made them a natural partner for us. We believe that many individuals and businesses will benefit from integrating BBRL into Conduit's global payment network.'

Stabull DEX Launches on Base: New Chain, New Token, 7 Stablecoin Pools, and Expanded Liquidity Mining Program

Stabull Finance, the decentralized exchange optimized for stablecoins and real-world assets, has officially launched on Base, marking its third supported blockchain. This strategic expansion includes the listing of seven new stablecoin pools, as well as the debut of the $STABUL token on Base, and expanded liquidity mining incentives — all designed to accelerate seamless and efficient stablecoin trading on-chain. Stabull is an AMM optimized for and dedicated to stablecoins and RWAs. It utilizes oracles to align on-chain liquidity with off-chain prices like EUR/USD. Liquidity providers (LPs) receive 70% of the platform's swap fee, plus additional $STABUL incentives distributed through a new partnership with Merkl. The $STABUL governance token is also now live on Base and fully integrated with Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP), enabling secure bridging across Ethereum, Polygon, and Base via 'We couldn't be more excited to bring Stabull to Base,' said Fran Strajnar, Stabull Core Contributor. Their team deeply understands the importance of tokenized finance, and the ecosystem they're building is exactly what the future of DeFi needs. This is a major milestone for Stabull, and just the beginning of what we plan to do on Base.' Additional Ecosystem Updates The Ethereum-based $STABUL staking farm, hosted via Magic Square, has over 50% of the circulating supply staked. The farm is live through to the end of 2025. DEX UI and transaction flow have been enhanced for improved gas estimation and smoother user experience. New stablecoin pools featuring Oracle Free Dollar (OFD) and Frankencoin (ZCHF) are now live on Polygon. Yield vaults are available on Ethereum and Polygon for all pools, offering up to 70% of swap fees plus additional $STABUL rewards paid per block — with no lockups. Stabull's multi-chain DEX now supports a total of 16 stablecoins across 11 national currencies, including Euro (EURC, EURS), Brazilian Real (BRZ), Colombian Peso (COPM), Japanese Yen (GYEN), Mexican Peso (MXNE), New Zealand Dollar (NZDS), Philippine Peso (PHPC), Singapore Dollar (XSGD), South African Rand (ZARP), Swiss Franc (ZCHF), Turkish Lira (TRYB) and US Dollar (USDC, OFD, DAI, USDT). Scottish TV in crisis as demand collapses amid economic gloom

Scottish TV has been plunged into crisis as economic gloom hits advertising revenues and demand for new shows. Scottish Television (STV), which holds the Channel 3 licence in Scotland and is the country's largest commercial broadcaster, has warned that its revenues and profits would be 'materially' below expectations this year. Shares in the broadcaster plunged by as much as a third to their lowest level in more than 12 years in response to the update, pushing its market value below £90m. ITV, which licences many of its programmes to the Scottish channel, was also down 2pc. STV suffered a 10pc drop in advertising revenue in the first six months of 2025, which it said was in line with expectations following strong trading in the same period last year during the Euros football tournament. But bosses warned the market had since deteriorated further, with ad revenues plunging by a fifth in July. In addition to the advertising downturn, STV warned of a significant slowdown in its production division, which is the largest in Scotland and is behind shows such as the BBC's Blue Lights and upcoming Sky drama Amadeus. Studio businesses are considered a key area of growth for broadcasters as they grapple with a decline in traditional TV viewing. But rising costs and tough competition from streaming rivals result in many channels having to cut back on programming spend, leading to fewer commissions. ITV last week said it was slashing its programming spending as part of a wider cost-cutting strategy, while Channel 4 is also investing significantly less in making TV shows. Focus on Britain STV said that while it is working on projects for US streaming giants including Netflix and Apple, it remains primarily UK-focused, meaning it has been 'disproportionately' hit by a drying up of demand in the domestic market. STV forecasts production revenues of between £75m and £85m for the full year, well behind its targets of £200m by the end of the decade. Overall, STV said it was lowering its full-year revenue forecasts to between £165m and £180m with a profit margin of around 7pc. Richard Bernstein, the head of fund manager Crystal Amber, which was previously the largest shareholder in STV, described the profit warning as 'vicious'. He said: 'We've been tracking the company and saw today's warning as inevitable: it was over a year since its last new studio commission, we think the worst is yet to come.' In May, STV announced that it would combine its traditional TV and streaming businesses into a single division, aiming to streamline the company for the digital age. It also announced plans to launch a new Scotland-focused commercial radio station while doubling revenues in its studios unit. Bosses said they were ramping up cost-cutting plans with a further £750,000 in savings identified, bringing the company's total target for the year to £2.5m. Further cost-cutting is expected next year. Broaden your horizons with award-winning British journalism.
