Ariana Grande teases ‘Brighter Days'—Eternal Sunshine deluxe album incoming?
ALBAWABA - Fans of Ariana Grande are excited about the upcoming "Brighter Days."
The pop singer has kept fans guessing about what's next by being transparent about the extent of her "Eternal Sunshine" album cycle.
She has apparently started the process by creating an enticing teaser, even if it doesn't seem like she's ready to announce yet.
The cinematic teaser is thought to be for the companion deluxe for "Sunshine," and it was shared jointly by Grande and the Instagram account Brighter Days.
The number-one hits "yes, and?" and "we can't be friends" are from the original edition of the chart-topping LP.
Despite her highly anticipated appearance in Wicked, Ariana Grande has failed to deliver any wins since the 2025 awards season ended. The "We Can't Be Friends (Wait For Your Love)" singer's supporters have remained steadfast throughout it all. Grande will soon give a memento of her gratitude, seemingly as a thank you.
Ariana Grande quietly confirmed the long-awaited release of her Eternal Sunshine Deluxe album today (March 8) with a short teaser. The video, available here, features the boxing and subsequent burning of a teddy bear and other sentimental objects. A figure is seen navigating amid the rubble as the camera cuts to the debris strewn across the pavement.
Ariana Grande Instagram profile
The revised pre-save link and the post being shared with the account Brighter Days Inc. (a reference to the original Eternal Sunshine) both suggest this, even if the uploaded image lacked a caption confirming it.
Four more songs were added to the project by Grande in March 2024: "Imperfect For You (Acoustic)," "True Story (Acapella)," "Yes, And?," which included Mariah Carey, and "Supernatural," which featured Troye Sivan.
Fans, however, anticipated more was coming. "It's funny because I really thought that it was just a very concise body of work, and I think, forever in my head, Eternal Sunshine is that album," Grande said when she verified this during an appearance on Penn Badgley's Podcrushed podcast. However, as time progresses, I recognize the need to incorporate some new ideas. I would like to make a deluxe at some time, though I have been writing a lot and may have more to write.
Although a rough release date is still unknown, the pre-order and pre-save link (available here) is active.
