PREDATOR's Legendary Flintlock Pistol Returns in PREDATOR: KILLER OF KILLERS — GeekTyrant
Killer of Killers isn't your standard Predator story. This animated anthology spans centuries, following three human warriors that include the Viking leader Ursa (Lindsay LaVanchy), Japanese ninja Kenji (Louis Ozawa), and WWII pilot Torres (Rick Gonzalez).
They each encounter a Predator hunter in their respective eras, and their stories eventually converge in a twisted finale that drops them into a Yautja gladiator arena lightyears from Earth.
Each warrior gets a weapon that reflects their origins: Ursa gets an axe, Kenji a katana, and Torres… a humble flintlock pistol. It turns out that it's the same one fans saw in Predator 2 , and later in Prey . While Torres barely has time to load the thing, let alone figure out how to load it, during the battle, its appearance ties Killer of Killers directly into decades of Predator mythology.
in Predator 2 , Danny Glover's Mike Harrigan defeats a Predator on its own ship, only to be surrounded by others. Rather than attack, they honor him. One of the Elder Predators tosses him the flintlock pistol and says, 'Take it.' The inscription reads: "Raphael Adolini, 1715."
Years later, Prey reintroduced the pistol, showing how it changed hands. The film follows Comanche warrior Naru (Amber Midthunder) as she battles the 'Feral Predator' and clashes with a band of French fur trappers.
One of those trappers, English-speaking interpreter Raphael Adolini (Bennet Taylor), gives Naru the pistol after a brutal fight. She uses it as part of her final stand, offering a glimpse into how this weapon entered Yautja hands in the first place.
But Killer of Killers pushes the timeline even further. In the film's final chapter, Torres is given the flintlock as his arena weapon. While it doesn't play a huge part in the action, its presence begs a big question… how did the Yautja get it, and why does it keep resurfacing?
The movie gives us at least part of the answer. At the end of the movie, a cryogenically frozen Naru is revealed to be one of many human warriors in stasis implying that the Yautja abducted her sometime after the events of Prey, likely during the closing cave painting-style scene that hinted at more Predators arriving. The flintlock? Confiscated and recycled for future bloodsport.
So how does it end up in Harrigan's hands years later? One possible theory, after Ursa sacrifices herself so Kenji and Torres can escape on a Predator ship, the pistol gets left behind. Perhaps another human wields it in a later arena match, one that ends badly.
The Elder Predator who wins that fight might've claimed the pistol as a trophy… only to pass it on to Harrigan as a token of mutual respect. That's one potential thread. But given the elastic nature of Predator timelines and cryostasis, Killer of Killers could actually take place after the events of Predator 2 , pushing the entire continuity into more ambiguous, time-jumping territory.
Whether the flintlock has traded hands between humans and Predators for decades or centuries, its reappearance in Killer of Killers is a connective thread that bridges eras, characters, and lore in a way that deepens the mythos while leaving the door wide open for more.

Jerry Jones Claims He Received Death Threats When He Bought the Dallas Cowboys and Fired Coach Tom Landry
NEED TO KNOW Jerry Jones claimed that he received multiple death threats shortly after he bought the Dallas Cowboys in 1989 In the new Netflix docuseries America's Team: The Gambler and His Cowboys, the owner looks back on what happened after he fired legendary coach Tom Landry Jones hired his longtime friend and former teammate Jimmy Johnson as Landry's successor When Jerry Jones bought the Dallas Cowboys in February 1989 and then fired legendary head coach Tom Landry, virtually no one in the franchise's fandom was happy with the Arkansas oil man. Then, he installed himself as president and general manager — an unheard of move in the NFL — riling even more of the team's supporters. But none of his decisions in the early days of owning America's Team had prepared him for the extreme criticism from Cowboys Nation. 'I was Darth Vader,' Jones, 82, recalls in the new Netflix docuseries America's Team: The Gambler and His Cowboys. Jones told Arkansas state lawmakers at the time that he had received multiple death threats. 'They're serious about their football in the state of Texas, almost as much as we are in Arkansas,' he says in the doc. After Landry's firing, more than 100,000 people turned out for a parade through the streets of downtown Dallas to honor the Cowboys coach of 29 years. 'Jerry and the Jones family had broken into the museum and taken our most valuable possession,' former ABC affiliate WFAA-TV sportscaster Dale Hansen says in the doc, describing the affection fans had for the former coach. Looking back, even Jones confesses it may have been a rash decision to fire Landry — whose team notched a 3-13 record during his final season in 1988. 'The firing of Coach Landry was certainly one of the great PR missteps, maybe of all time,' Jones says. 'Because I still wear that.' At a press conference later termed the Saturday Night Massacre — a reference to the Watergate scandal — Jones announced his intentions with the team. One day later, he fired Landry and named longtime friend and fellow University of Arkansas teammate Jimmy Johnson as the new coach of the Cowboys. Charlotte Jones Anderson, Jones' daughter and the team's executive vice president and chief brand officer, recalls thinking after the press conference, "What do we do?' Jones says he had no choice but to forge ahead. Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. His team in Dallas — nicknamed the City of Hate due to President John F. Kennedy's 1963 assassination — was coming together, and that's when Jones truly laid it all on the line, he says. 'With all that hate, I could stop and cry or I could just keep going,' Jones says. 'But I'm not gonna take my marbles and go home. I can't, I burned all my ships when I landed." Elsewhere, Becky Lynch defends the women's Intercontinental championship against Natalya, The Vision will speak, Jey Uso takes on Bron Breakker in singles action, Iyo Sky vs. Raquel Rodriguez, Penta vs. Xavier Woods, and a whole lot more! Come right back here at 8 pm ET when the Raw live blog will kick off once the show starts on Netflix. It will be below this line here. The rat trap's filled with soul crusaders, the Circuit's lined and jammed with chromed invaders and she's so pretty that you're lost in the stars as you jockey your way through the cars and sit at the light, as it changes to green. But me? I'm just here to liveblog this here pro wrestling show for you, folks. The show opens with a recap of last week's main event tag team match pitting CM Punk and LA Knight against the Bron 'n Bron Connection, the chaos it ended in, and the reveal that the World Heavyweight Championship match at Clash in Paris will be a four-way. The usual montage of talent arriving at the arena follows. The Vision make their entrance and Paul Heyman gets on the mic, doing his usual introductory spiel and adding that here in Philadelphia, he's not in god mode, he is god. They'd have a statue of him in the city but he's too gosh darn humble to take the credit he deserves for being the GOAT. But he's not the only GOAT in the ring because the Vision is full of GOATs. For example, Bron Breakker, the future of WrestleMania, the man that taught Roman Reigns to fear the spear, he is the big dog and this is his yard. And then there's 'Big' Bronson Reed, owner of the shoe-la fala, the master of the shoenami, the man who put Roman Reigns bad enough he didn't get back up, the Tribal Thief. He does a sidebar claiming 'OTC!' chants are actually 'Paul E!' chants before getting to Seth Rollins, a revolutionary, a visionary, an evolutionary, who deserves even more credit than Paul does, a man who pinned Roman Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania, not once, but twice, your reigning, defending, undisputed WWE Heavyweight Champion of the World. Enter 'Main Event' Jey Uso, coming through the crowd and yeeting as per usual. He stops in the stairs and has a bunch of kids yeet into the mic before he speaks. He says he's tired of hearing Seth and Paul talk, of them trying to threaten his family, and he's got next and he tapped out GUNTHER at WrestleMania, and it's only gonna get worse for Rollins in Paris. And look at puppydog Bron Breakker looking at him, he's about to have to stay on the porch tonight because he's looking at a real one. Seth gets on Bron telling him Jey thinks his family is better than his, they're a bunch of fatasses and he's got no respect for them. Breakker tries to rush out of the ring but Rollins and Heyman hold him back. Heyman scoffs at the idea of Jey trying stuff in Philly, where a long time ago in a bingo hall not that far away, men settled their grievances in the ring in a very specific type of match. No disqualification, no countout, submission or pinfall only, and in the name of Sandman smashing a beer can into his head, in the name of New Jack being the only real gangster in the business, in the name of Rob Van Dam smoking everyone out, in the name of the late great Sabu innovating moves nobody ever saw anymore, in the name of the late great Tommy Dreamer– yeah he's not dead yet but he should be– in the name of the Dudley Boyz putting everyone through tables– Jey Uso cuts him off and says he doesn't need to say any more, because the only rules he needs tonight are extreme rules!
