Israeli Aggression: Enemy Warplanes launch intense airstrikes on southern Lebanon

Saba Yemen27-06-2025
Beirut – SABA:
Israeli warplanes carried out a series of intense airstrikes on various areas in southern Lebanon on Friday, despite the ceasefire agreement that has been in effect since last November.
According to the Lebanese National News Agency (NNA), the Israeli aircraft launched a 'wide-scale aerial aggression,' targeting the forests of Ali Al-Taher, the heights of Kfar Tibnit, and Nabatiyeh Al-Fawqa, using concussion missiles that caused powerful explosions.
The report added that the airstrikes were repeated shortly afterward, hitting the same areas, with no immediate reports of casualties.
Earlier in the day, an Israeli drone dropped a sound bomb near two civilian vehicles in the town of Ramiya, in the Nabatiyeh region, without causing injuries.
It is worth noting that the ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and Israel, which came into force on November 27, stipulated the withdrawal of Israeli forces from border villages in southern Lebanon within 60 days. However, the Israeli military has remained stationed in five points and continues to violate the agreement intermittently.

Al-Quds Brigades Destroy Israeli Military Vehicle in Al-Musallaba, South of Gaza City

Gaza – Saba: The Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, announced today (Tuesday) that it had destroyed an Israeli military vehicle south of Gaza City on Sunday. In a statement received by Saba News Agency, the Brigades said: 'On Sunday, we destroyed an Israeli military vehicle with a powerful Taqib (penetrating) explosive device, which our fighters had previously planted in the Al-Musallaba area of Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City.' The statement added that their fighters observed Israeli forces evacuating soldiers from the site. This attack comes as part of the Palestinian resistance factions' response to what they describe as the ongoing genocide perpetrated by the Israeli military against the people of Gaza—supported by the United States—since October 7, 2023, involving killings, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, in defiance of international appeals and rulings by the International Court of Justice to halt such actions.

Levante Fair Management Excludes Israel from Participating in International Exhibition in Italy

Rome - Saba: The management of the Levante Fair, one of the most prominent trade fairs in Italy and the Mediterranean region, announced on Monday evening that it has excluded Israel from participating in its 88th edition, scheduled to be held in Bari from September 15 to 21. According to Italian media, the decision came at the invitation of Bari Mayor Vito Leccese, who called for a boycott of Israel and a ban on its presence at the exhibition, expressing his rejection of Israeli policies in Palestine. The Levante International Fair is one of the most prominent economic events in the Mediterranean basin, bringing together diverse sectors including industry, agriculture, energy, environment, technology, and innovation. It is known for its role in promoting trade exchange between European countries, the Middle East, the Balkans, and the Mediterranean countries. It also attracts thousands of exhibitors and visitors annually, making it a key platform for economic and cultural cooperation. Meanwhile, since October 7, 2023, enemy forces, with full American support, have continued to commit genocidal crimes in Gaza, resulting in the deaths of 62,004 people, 156,230 injuries, more than nine thousand missing, and hundreds of thousands displaced.

Israeli occupation releases pregnant prisoner Rimaa Balawi under conditions after six months in detention

Gaza – Saba: Israeli occupation authorities released Palestinian pregnant prisoner Rimaa Balawi (31) from Tulkarm this evening, Monday, under conditions and a bail of 15,000 shekels. According to a statement by the Palestinian Prisoners Club received by the Yemen News Agency (SABA), Balawi, a mother of two and eight months pregnant, was arrested by Israeli forces at her home in Tulkarm in February 2025 on charges described by the occupation as 'incitement.' The club noted that the total number of female prisoners now stands at 47 following Balawi's release, emphasizing that female detainees continue to endure harsh and tragic conditions. These include repeated acts of repression, prison-imposed starvation policies affecting all prisoners, confiscation of personal items, deprivation, humiliation, and prolonged solitary confinement, impacting both men and women. The statement highlighted that most female prisoners are held either under administrative detention based on so-called 'secret files' or on allegations of 'incitement' via social media—charges that have surged to unprecedented levels amid the escalation of the ongoing genocide. These measures target all segments of Palestinian society and have become central tools for enforcing tighter control, surveillance, and restrictions on freedom of opinion and expression.
