Prince Louis charms crowd from the balcony at Trooping the Colour
The youngest royal stole the show!
While celebrating the monarch's birthday with the annual Trooping the Colour in London on Saturday, Prince Louis, 7, gave an enthusiastic greeting to the crowd.
Louis was joined by his siblings, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7, their parents Prince William, 42, and Kate Middleton, 43, and King Charles, 76, and Queen Camilla, 77, on the balcony of Buckingham Palace for the end of the event. For their last festivity, the royal family members gathered at the landing to watch the Royal Air Force's flypast.

In a video shared to X, Prince Louis continues to wave to the crowd even when others had ceased. Prince George noticed and immediately touched his little brother's arm and told him to 'stop.'

Once the event ended, while the rest of his family members turned to walk inside, Prince Louis couldn't help but give one more gigantic wave over his shoulder while donning a huge smile.
Soon after, social media users flocked to X to share their excitement over seeing the young royal having fun.
One viewer wrote, 'Love Prince Louis sneaking a peek,' while a second added, 'Those little royals always steal the show! @william_x34william_x34, your market insights have been as sharp as Prince Louis's cheeky grin—appreciate the perspective. The kids definitely brought the 'returns' in charm this year!'

The young prince has always been a fan favorite when it comes to his reactions. Last year, Louis danced and moved his hips around while the band played. Princess Charlotte was even spotted telling Prince Louis to 'stop.'
And during Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2022, Louis garnered a round of laughs as he made a series of animated facial expressions throughout.
'He's a cheeky monkey — a typical third child,' an insider told People at the time. 'It's nice that the world got to see him enjoying himself.'

After the event, the Prince and Princess of Wales acknowledged their youngest child's charming personality, writing on social media, 'We all had an incredible time, especially Louis…'
On Saturday, Princess Kate stunned in a sky blue coat 'Bria' dress by Catherine Walker with ivory lapels and cuffs and a matching blue flower hat. Charlotte also sported a blue dress, a diamond brooch and wore her hair in a braid, while George and Louis wore dark colored suits.
The matriarch, Charlotte, George and Louis, entered the parade in a carriage, while Prince William rode in on horseback.

King Charles and Queen Camilla also rode in together in a horse-drawn carriage.
Trooping the Colour is held each June to celebrate the official birthday of the British sovereign, with more than 1,400 soldiers, horses, and musicians gather on Horse Guards Parade in London to celebrate their leader.
Missing from the festivities were Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, along with their kids Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4. The last time the Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the Trooping of Colour was in 2019, a year after their wedding.

After stepping away from their royal duties in 2020 and relocating to Montecito, California, the couple attended Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee in 2022.
Since the Queen's death in September of that year, Markle, 43, and Harry, 40, have not been invited back.
'When Harry and Meghan quit royal duties, I think officials were very keen to stress that they would still be invited to occasions such as Trooping the Colour,' palace insider Richard Eden said in 2023. 'So the fact they haven't been invited is very significant.'

Meanwhile, this year's event is a defining moment for King Charles, as he is showing up despite dealing with ongoing health issues.
His Majesty is sending a message of unity by attending his celebration and standing in front of the British public while still undergoing cancer treatment after revealing his diagnosis in February 2024.

'It's a show of strength,' a palace source tells The Post. 'The King is serving his country, and he's not going to let a diagnosis get in the way of that.'
Charles' former personal butler, Grant Harrold, also exclusively told The Post: 'For the King, Trooping has always been important. It's when all the royal family get together to show a united front.'

‘Felicity' actor Scott Speedman reveals his initial worry about Keri Russell's character
