Tennessee football tickets on sale for 2025 opener vs Syracuse in Atlanta
Tickets are on sale for Tennessee football's 2025 season opener against Syracuse in Atlanta on Aug. 30.
The Aflac Kickoff Game will be played at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, but a kickoff time has not been announced. It will televised on either ABC or ESPN.
To purchase tickets to UT's game against Syracuse, visit AllVols.com. Additionally, fans interested in purchasing future UT season tickets can fill out a season ticket interest form.
This will be Tennessee's third appearance in the Kickoff Game in Atlanta. The Vols beat NC State 35-21 in 2012, and they won 42-41 over Georgia Tech in double overtime in 2017.
UT has had success recently in neutral site games. The Vols beat Virginia 49-13 in the 2023 opener at Nissan Stadium in Nashville. And they beat North Carolina State 51-10 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte in 2024.

USMNT midfielder Tyler Adams has said that the squad are not worried about 'outside' criticism from former players after the team's recent poor form. The U.S. take on Trinidad and Tobago in their first fixture of the tournament on Sunday and will also face Saudi Arabia and Haiti in the group stage. Advertisement Former U.S. forwards Clint Dempsey and Landon Donovan were among those to criticise the players, with Adams saying that the squad are tuning out the comments. 'We don't talk about that internally as a group,' Adams told the Associated Press. 'The noise on the outside is the noise on the outside. I think we need to focus on what we need to do as a group and continue to build.' Dempsey said last week that he did not 'understand' the move to miss the Gold Cup and pointed to his own experience appearing at tournaments for the U.S.. 'Whether it was Gold Cup, whether it was Copa (America), whether it was Confederations Cup, whether it was the World Cup, I wasn't going to miss competitions,' Dempsey said on the Men in Blazers podcast. 'For me, I don't understand it because that wasn't my mentality. I always wanted to play in those games.' Donovan, who is second on the U.S. all-time appearance charts and shares the goalscoring record with Dempsey at 57 each, brought up the situation while working as an analyst for FOX's coverage of the UEFA Nations League final, which saw Portugal defeat Spain on penalties. 'This is what it means to represent your country,' Donovan said after Portugal's victory. 'And if you don't want to take this, as a professional soccer player and someone who gets the opportunity to wear that jersey and take it seriously and responsibly, then don't come in. 'I can't help but think about some of our guys on vacation right now not wanting to play in the Gold Cup.' Donovan also criticised the team in March, writing on X: 'I'm so sick of hearing how 'talented' this group of players is and all of the amazing clubs they play for. If you aren't going to show up and actually give a s*** about playing for your national team, decline the invite. Talent is great, pride is better.' Dempsey added that he was 'worried about the future of this U.S. men's national team.' Juventus' Weston McKennie and Tim Weah as well as Borussia Dortmund's Gio Reyna are also set to miss the Gold Cup due to their team's participation at the Club World Cup, which begins on Saturday. Tennessee guard Jahmai Mashack reveals mindset in NBA draft workouts Jahmai Mashack established himself as a tremendous defender, and the former Tennessee guard is looking to showcase that ability and more in predraft workouts. Mashack was named to the SEC All-Defensive Team, averaging six points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.7 steals and 1.5 assists on 35.1% shooting from 3-point range in 38 games. He scored in double figures six times, including a season-high 13 points, seven rebounds and four assists on March 14. The 6-foot-5 standout completed his ninth team workout on Tuesday. He wants to demonstrate his overall skill set and ability, with a particular emphasis on his offensive capabilities. "My ability to catch and shoot, and my ability to play out of closeouts," Mashack said after working out with the Portland Trail Blazers. "The NBA is really going toward a closeout league where you've got to be able to shoot, pass or drive the ball effectively in point-five seconds. To be able to show that consistently and know I'm a good decision-maker when I get paint touches." Mashack was a Naismith Defensive Player of the Year finalist, ranking second in the country in defensive box plus-minus last season (plus-seven). He was one of 14 players, including one of six in a power conference, to record at least 60 steals (64) and 20 blocked shots (20). The 22-year-old competed in the G League Elite Camp last month, averaging five points, two steals, 1.5 rebounds and one assist in two scrimmage games. He also registered a 6-foot, 7 3/4-inch wingspan in the anthropometric measurement testing. Mashack isn't projected to be drafted, though he believes he has had some solid performances during his prior workouts. He is looking to finish the predraft process strong and secure a spot with the right team in the draft on June 25-26 in Brooklyn, New York. "I want to find the best fit possible, and I feel like there are a lot of NBA teams that like and enjoy the way that I play," Mashack said. "I want to just be with (a team) that is going to value that and cherish that and grow that as I try to become the best player I can be."

CBS Sports' Matt Zenitz reported the Volunteers hired defensive assistant coach Marion Hobby. Advertisement An ex-Tennessee first-team All-SEC player, Hobby will serve as a defensive analyst for the Volunteers. "Hobby, a former All-SEC player at Tennessee, has coached in four NFL conference championship games (Saints, Jaguars, Bengals 2x) and a Super Bowl," Zenitz posted on X. "Hobby was also part of Clemson's 2016 national championship team." Hobby spent the past four seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals as their defensive line coach. The longtime assist had been an NFL defensive line coach since 2017. From 2017-18, he coached the Jacksonville Jaguars defensive line. Before joining the Bengals, Hobby coached for the Miami Dolphins from 2019-20. The defensive end began his coaching career as a strength and conditioning coach for the Tennessee-Martin Skyhawks in 1995. Hobby was an assistant strength and conditioning coach with Tennessee's 1998 national championship team. He received his first opportunity to coach a defensive line unit with the Ole Miss Rebels in 1999. Hobby coached at Ole Miss for five years and then spent one season with the Clemson Tigers before jumping to the NFL with the New Orleans Saints. After two seasons with the Saints, Hobby returned to the college ranks with the Duke Blue Devils. He then became co-defensive coordinator at Clemson from 2011-16 before going back to the NFL.
