KTM teases new street bike for India: Entry-level 160 Duke on the cards?
has released a new teaser hinting at the arrival of a new motorcycle. Shared across its social media handles, the image shows a Duke silhouette alongside the tagline: 'The streets are ready. Are you?' While the brand hasn't officially revealed the model, it is expected that the new model could be the aal-new 160 Duke.
The teaser comes shortly after KTM discontinued the 125 Duke in India, suggesting the upcoming 160 Duke will take its place as the most accessible offering in the brand's streetfighter lineup. The motorcycle is expected to be developed exclusively for the Indian market, with no immediate plans for global rollout.

Though the Austrian bikemaker hasn't shared full specs yet, the 160 Duke is expected to be built on the same underpinnings as the current 200 Duke. That includes the trellis frame, 43mm USD forks, and monoshock rear suspension. The design, too, is likely to mirror the aggressive styling of the 200 Duke.

In a separate discussion paper, IBBI has also proposed deleting Clause 6 from the Code of Conduct for Insolvency Professionals (IPs), citing duplication with existing rules that already govern the sale of debtor assets during liquidation and bankruptcy. Under the clause, it prohibits IPs and their relatives from acquiring assets of a debtor during liquidation or bankruptcy process unless it is shown that there was no impairment of objectivity, independence or impartiality, and the board's approval has been obtained in the matter. However, the board noted that similar prohibitions are explicitly laid out in the IBBI's Liquidation Process rules, and the Bankruptcy Process for Personal Guarantors to Corporate Debtors norms. "It is proposed that to avoid duplication and for promoting harmonisation within the Regulations, Clause 6 be deleted from the Code of Conduct for Insolvency Professionals," the IBBI said. Removing the clause from the Code of Conduct would avoid potential duplication and redundancy, and also ensure that specific prohibitions are primarily housed within the rules that govern the procedural aspects of asset realisation, it added.
