Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns legend Andile Jali only played 13 matches for Chippa United this season. Is this the 35-year-old's final Premier Soccer League season as a footballer?
'Andile Jali has done it all in football,' a source told FARPost . 'When he joined Chippa United at the start of the season, it was more about enjoying football,' a source said on the PSL legend.
'The problem now is that he hasn't played that much for the club, so I think that's what will decide his future. According to SABC Sport reporter Mazola Molefe, the former Orlando Pirates captain is parting ways with Chippa. 'We have it on good authority that Andile Jali is leaving Chippa United, and this could be his last season in football,' Molefe said on Soccer Zone.

South African wheelchair tennis star Kgothatso Montjane reclaimed the French Open doubles title with Japanese partner Yui Kamiji in dramatic fashion at Roland Garros on Friday night. Montjane and Kamiji faced the Chinese pairing of Xiaohui Li and Ziying Wang, the No 2 seeds, in the women's doubles final. They had to dig deep, fighting back from a set down to secure a 4-6 7-5 (10-7) victory. They reclaimed the trophy they lifted at Roland Garros in 2023. The duo also won the US Open title together in 2023, as well as the Wimbledon crown last year. Montjane and Kamiji beat top seeds Manami Tanaka of Japan and Zhenzhen Shu of China 6-1 6-4 to reach the decider. Earlier on Friday, in the men's quad doubles final, Donald Ramphadi of SA and Turkish partner Ahmet Kaplan lost 6-3 6-4 to Guy Sasson of Israel and Niels Vink of the Netherlands.

The Bulls also had to show their endurance and spirit in coming back from a 21-8 deficit after a half-hour of their quarterfinal against Edinburgh in Pretoria. They ultimately won 42-33 and White said the resilience they showed will be crucial against the Sharks, but they also need to add accuracy to their effort.
