3-star DL Arthur Scott picks Wisconsin over MSU following official visit this weekend
Michigan State football has been beaten out by the Wisconsin Badgers for a three-star defensive lineman from Ohio.
Arthur Scott of Streetsboro, Ohio announced his commitment to Wisconsin on Sunday morning. Scott revealed his commitment to the Badgers via a post on his social media X account.
Scott took an official visit to Wisconsin this weekend, which apparently went very well for the Badgers.
Scott is a three-star defensive lineman in the 2026 class. He has a recruiting ranking of 86 on 247Sports.
Scott ranks as the No. 115 defensive lineman in the 2026 class, according to 247Sports. He is also listed as the No. 59 player from Ohio in the class.
According to 247Sports, Scott holds offers from 15 schools, but it was Michigan State, Rutgers, Cincinnati and Wisconsin that were considered the favorites for his commitment. He had official visits scheduled with each of those schools, but it's unclear at this time if he'll still be taking those visits following his Wisconsin commitment. Should Scott take these additional official visits, he'll be heading to Michigan State on June 13.

Report: Florida football special teams coach moving on to Houston
One of the special teams' coaches for Florida football is moving on to a new job. According to a report by Matt Zenitz of 247Sports, Florida Gators Game Changer coordinator Chris Couch is accepting the special teams coordinator job at Houston. Advertisement The move reunites Couch with Houston coach Willie Fritz, whom he worked under at Tulane from 2016-20. Couch endured some ups and downs in his first two years under head coach Billy Napier as lead special teams' analyst. Under Couch, Florida at times failed to line up correctly, resulting in either 10 players or too many players on the field in changeovers for punts and field goal attempts. During the 2024 offseason, Florida added special teams' coordinator Joe Houston to work with Couch. Houston, a former special teams assistant with the New England Patriots (2020-23) and special teams coach at Iowa State (2016-18), added a new voice with experience. Due to a change in NCAA rules, both analysts were able to work on the field during 2024 fall camp, which resulted in smoother special teams' operation during the 2024 season. Coach joins former UF co-defensive coordinator Austin Armstrong as the second coach to leave the Gators for Houston in the last seven months. Former Texas A&M defensive back earns United Football League honors Former Texas A&M defensive back Leon O'Neal Jr. has become known as the heart of the United Football League's Houston Roughnecks organization with his dedication and determination on the gridiron. The hours of hard work have paid dividends for the former Aggie Heart Award winner, as he was named to the All-UFL Team on Monday morning. O'Neal Jr. made an immediate impact with Texas A&M in 2018, where he recorded 14 total tackles and one interception in 13 games played as a freshman. From that moment forward, he was all over the field for the Aggies. He finished his collegiate career with 161 total tackles, 18 pass deflections, and six interceptions, becoming one of the most experienced and talented defensive backs in the Southeastern Conference. Following his four-year career in Bryan-College Station, Texas, O'Neal Jr. entered his name into the 2022 NFL Draft. After being undrafted, he would eventually sign with the San Francisco 49ers, before being cut in 2023 and venturing into the Canadian Football League with the Edmonton Elks. Since being signed by the Roughnecks on January 28, 2025, the former Aggie has recorded 46 total tackles, one sack and one pick-six during the UFL regular season. Above his play on the gridiron is his heart and gritty personality that uplifts everyone around him. That, among many other noble personality traits, is the reason that O'Neal was also named as a UFL Sportsman of the Year nominee, which is awarded to the player in the league who demonstrates excellent dedication to serving the community and incredible aptitude on the field.
