2026 Infiniti QX60 Pricing Is Out, and It Costs More Than Before

Car and Driver27-06-2025
The 2026 Infiniti QX60 costs more than before, with its base price rising by $1645 to $53,195.
The new QX60 Sport joins the lineup, and it costs $3245 more than the Sensory trim it replaces.
The new model year also brings minor visual tweaks, a newly standard digital gauge cluster, nicer interior materials, and an optional Klipsch audio system.
Infiniti decided to give the QX60 a little freshening up for the 2026 model year, but Nissan's luxury brand also decided to make the three-row mid-size SUV a little more expensive. It's a common practice for automakers to raise prices year-over-year, and if you're in the market for an Infiniti QX60, the mid-level Luxe and top-of-the-line Autograph only cost $645 more than last year, but the other two trims see more notable price hikes.
2026 Infiniti QX60 Prices
The QX60 Pure is the lineup's entry point, and for 2026, it starts at $53,195 (all-wheel drive adds $2000). That's $1645 more than before, but that's still a lot less than alternatives such as the Audi Q7 and Volvo XC90, which both start over $61K. The aforementioned QX60 Luxe has a $58,795 base price (again, add $2000 for AWD), and the next step up is the new Sport model. It replaces the Sensory trim level and features the same 268-hp variable-compression turbo four as the rest of the lineup. The QX60 Sport starts at $63,695, meaning its price has risen $3245 compared with the outgoing Sensory. For those who want the best of the best, the Autograph starts at $68,145.

INFINITI
While Infiniti raised the prices on the QX60, it also made some changes that help offset the extra cost. For instance, every model now comes standard with a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, an illuminated logo in the grill, and 20-inch wheels are the smallest set you can get. Customers can also now opt for a pretty new hue called Deep Emerald, and audiophiles will appreciate the newly available sound system. There's a 16-speaker Klipsch unit as well as a more powerful 20-speaker setup. The latter is standard on the Autograph, which also offers the $3150 Technology package that includes ProPilot 2.1 with hands-free driving assist. If you squint, you might also notice that the QX60's face now features a new grille mesh, larger side intakes, and a redesigned bumper.

Here's How To Know If You Need A New Car Battery Or Just A Jump Start

There's no greater disappointment then getting ready for a night on the town, or packing up your car for a nice trip, and your car battery is dead. Next comes the question: is my car battery at the end of its life, or do I just need to get a jump start? If your car won't start up, and you hear that "click click click" when trying to start the ignition, that's just one of the signs of a weak or failing battery. Some things to think about to determine if your battery is bad or just needs a charge can be tricky. Batteries will age just like any other living thing, and as such, a battery is only good for a certain amount of time. On average, car batteries need to be replaced every three-to-five years. according to AAA. If yours is on the latter end of the scale, then the battery could be bad. But there are other ways to test this before you ask your neighbor for a jump start (and if you don't have any neighbors, there are a couple of ways to charge your battery without a donor car). Read more: These Are The Worst Transmission Recalls Of The Last 5 Years Is My Car Battery Dead? The older a car battery is, the more likely you'll see some of these warning signs. If the headlights are dim, the motor cranks slowly, the battery smells like rotten eggs, or the battery is swollen, then it's already on its way down hill. If you manage to get the car started with a jump start, only to have it die immediately after, you're just prolonging the inevitable. Moreover, if you were driving and your car battery suddenly dies, then it's kaput, and a jump start won't save it. Before you panic, there are a few things to check. If your car battery isn't that old, there could be a problem with the car's alternator. As you drive, the alternator is responsible for recharging the battery. Check with a mechanic to see if this is the issue and if the alternator needs to be replaced. Corrosion between the battery terminals can also reduce the flow of power. You can clean this with a stiff-bristle brush. What's the weather like where you live? Cold weather can make it tough for a battery to start up, draining it quicker. If it's too hot, then the water in your battery can evaporate and cause damage to it over time. You may want to invest in a heat shield. Still unsure? Get yourself a multimeter. They're cheap, and you can test your car battery in minutes. Set the multimeter to 15-20 volts and hook it up to the battery terminals. Your owner's manual can tell you what the proper voltage should be, but on average, anything below 12.6 volts is a dead battery. If you don't see any of the above warning signs, then by all means, try to jump start that sucker. Want more like this? Are Costco Car Batteries Actually A Good Deal And What Is The Warranty?

It's not hard to fathom why Costco has become the world's third-largest retailer. It's low-cost, direct-sourcing price strategy not only applies to everyday items like groceries, mouth-watering rotisserie chicken, and whole, frozen animals like goats and pigs, but it managed to tug the heartstrings of car enthusiasts with its low-priced tire selection (that come with lifetime maintenance services, making them a fantastic deal for Costco members), new vehicles with pre-negotiated prices, and car batteries. No, Costco doesn't have or sell Costco-branded batteries -- at least not yet -- but it carries an array of Interstate batteries for cars, trucks, golf carts, and marine batteries for boats. We have to admit that the Interstate brand didn't make it to Consumer Reports' list of the best car batteries this 2025, but none of those come close to Costco car batteries in the savings arena. For instance, a sealed lead-acid or maintenance-free Interstate battery at Costco, specifically for a 2018 Toyota Camry 2.5L gas model, starts at $125. Meanwhile, O'Reilly Auto Parts is peddling a similar flooded lead-acid battery at $210 for the same car, making Costco's Interstate selection a smashing good bargain. What's more, Costco batteries carry a three-year/36-month warranty, which is the same warranty that O'Reilly offers. Do the math, and you'll end up paying less money at Costco for a car battery that has the same warranty as a more expensive one. Read more: How Much Do Car Salespeople Make? The Pay Structure Explained Why Are Car Batteries Cheaper At Costco? The reason why almost everything is cheaper at Costco is the company's warehouse-type business model and has nothing to do with sorcery or mind control. The annual membership fees (ranging from $65 to $135), direct sourcing strategy, and limited selections are just a few reasons why Costco manages to keep prices reasonable for consumers. Moreover, Costco purchases more items from fewer sources, pays lower bulk prices to suppliers, and passes some of the savings on to customers who enter their vast warehouse-style stores across the country. Fortunately, it includes consumable vehicle items like tires and batteries. And in case you haven't noticed, tire and battery prices have gone through the roof, and what Gen X-ers used to pay chump change for an oil change now costs significantly more, not including the outrageous prices for parts and accessories. The end of summer is one of the best times to inspect or change your car batteries, because you don't ever want to deal with a dying car battery in the dead of winter. Either way, we have a handy guide on how to know if your existing car battery is on its final leg or needs a jump-start, and watch out for signs of slow cranking, dimming headlights, or a symphony of warning lights turning on sporadically in the instrument cluster, which are telltale signs of a weak or dying battery. Okay, We Know Costco Car Batteries Are Cheaper, But What's The Catch? It all sounds like roses and honey, but as always, there's a catch: limited selection. Costco offers discounted prices by purchasing items in bulk from fewer vendors. The downside to this is fewer varieties of products to choose from. If variety is your cup of tea, shopping at Walmart, Target, or Amazon is a better bet. As for car batteries, Costco only carries the Interstate brand, which might be an issue for consumers who prefer or are privy to a different brand. As an example, a quick search at O'Reilly's for a 2018 Camry battery unleashed six types of batteries from three brands: Super Start, Optima, and Odyssey. However, prices range from $109 to $361, so the choice is up to you. For newer cars that require more potent yet costlier absorbent glass mat (AGM) batteries, Costco has those, too, and prices are also lower compared to other stores and brands. Want more like this?
