Kate Middleton Makes Cheeky Comment About Prince William's Beard on St. Patrick's Day

Yahoo17-03-2025
Kate Middleton was named Colonel-in-Chief of the Irish Guards in March 2023, and enjoyed St. Patrick's Day with the regiment that same month before having to skip the annual March 17 festivities last year due to her ongoing health battle—first major abdominal surgery and, later, a cancer diagnosis.
The Princess of Wales announced in January that she was in remission from cancer and made her return to the St. Patrick's Day festivities on March 17, enjoying sips of Guinness along with members of the regiment and their families. Wearing a bespoke bottle green Alexander McQueen coat (previously seen in 2022 when Kate and Prince William visited the U.S.), she paired the coat with a Lock & Key hat, a gold shamrock Cartier brooch, and a pair of green tourmaline and diamond Kiki McDonough earrings.
While speaking with soldiers and their families, she was asked where she lives, to which Kate responded, 'We are in Windsor at the moment. We were in London, but moved there for more green space. It's close enough to London—not too far away.'
She also mentioned her husband William's beard, which he debuted last summer: 'These trends come and go,' she said, per Hello!. 'I was saying to my husband, I'm not sure how long he's going to keep his for.'
The Prince of Wales made a big stir when he debuted the beard last summer, but apparently not everyone was initially a fan—namely daughter Princess Charlotte, who had 'floods of tears' the first time he tried to grow the beard, 'so I had to shave it off,' he said last November, per People.
He gave it another go, adding, 'Then I grew it back. I thought, hang on a second, and I convinced her it was going to be okay.'
Jason Knauf, the former aide to the Prince and Princess of Wales, spoke about William's beard in an interview last month with 60 Minutes Australia, telling the program of Kate, 'If she didn't like it, it wouldn't be there. I could tell you that!'
Knauf said of the future king's facial hair, 'I love it. I think it's great. But I've talked to him about it, or tried to talk to him about it. He's like, 'It's here. I have a beard. No further conversation.''
Of Kate's appearance on St. Patrick's Day, Guardsman Barry Loughlin said, per The Times, 'She wanted to know how things were going with the blokes in general. She was really nice and really warm. I was kind of flustered. You could tell she had a genuine interest in us.'

Naughty Goldendoodle Sneaks Into the Bath for Playtime & It's Too Cute

Naughty Goldendoodle Sneaks Into the Bath for Playtime & It's Too Cute originally appeared on PetHelpful. No one said raising a puppy was easy! And a new video online is proof of that fact. Kate probably expected a little mischief when she got a Goldendoodle puppy. But alas, her new dog is definitely a 'menace to society' and now she has people cracking up online. There are things about puppyhood that they don't warn you about. And this was one of them! All Kate wanted to do was clean up after her kids took a bath, but boy did she get a surprise instead. You could tell the dog was up to no good even before the woman turned into the bathroom. 'This dog is an absolute menace to society,' the woman said in the footage. Poor Kate hadn't drained her kids' bathtub yet and the Goldendoodle took advantage of it. She'd made her own personal splash pad in the bathroom! Which was fun for her but was probably not exactly thrilling for Kate.'What are you doing?' the woman asked from behind the camera. 'Oh, just playing around in the tub. Do you want to join?' we can imagine the pup saying. 'Are you living your best life?' the woman teased. Yep, you could certainly say that for sure. 'Oh Stormi Jean, you're such a goober,' she kidded. The comments section absolutely loved Kate's little troublemaker Goldendoodle. What a little sneak! 'Once she realized she wasn't in trouble she went for it!' joked one person. 'I love that you're letting it enjoy the moment,' someone else praised. 'God forbid a girl wants to practice her spelling whilst getting clean,' joked a third person. 'Where did you get a self washing dog? They got that on Amazon?' kidded another commenter. Do Dogs Like Baths? You may have noticed that some dogs love their tub time (or maybe they just like making a mess!), but some dogs really don't like taking baths. Even dogs that like other bodies of water might not love baths. It really depends on the dog and the breed. Some dogs might even get totally spooked from the bath! So be gentle with your dog and take your time. Looking for more PetHelpful updates? Follow us on YouTube for more entertaining videos. Kate Gosselin works grueling 12-hour nursing shifts after reality TV fortune disappears

Kate Gosselin is speaking out about her life now, which includes 12-hour days as a pediatric nurse. "Today was a busy day, it was another 12-hour day, and my patient and I did a bunch of things," Kate told her followers on TikTok this week. "We went on the swings together, we went to a birthday party, we played in the water, we spent a lot of time outside. My patient loves to spend time outside, and I, of course, did all of the medical care as well, feeding, bathing and all the things." She added, "And so now I work again tomorrow morning, so I have my dishes loaded into the dishwasher, my dishwasher running, and so I can go to bed and get up early and do it all over again," she continued. While several people praised her work ethic in the comments, one fan asked her what happened to all the income she earned working on the show. "Honestly? Providing for 8 kids, college funds which I am proud to say covered all of their college and more and LAWYERS. Sickening but I was drug into court constantly and that costs A TON," she said in her response. "Sad bc my kids could have a lot more saved and I could have a retirement saved if it weren't for lawyers. It's okay. I'm helping other families and I feel needed and I enjoy helping!" The former reality star first gained national attention when she appeared on the hit TLC reality show, "Jon & Kate Plus 8," which chronicled how she and her then-husband, Jon Gosselin, managed their eight children, which included one set of twins and one set of sextuplets. The show was on the air from 2007 to 2009, before the couple's divorce in 2009 brought it to an end. Kate then starred in the show's spin-off, "Kate Plus 8," which showed what her life was like as a single mother. One fan in the comments section pointed out that the life she lives now seems much different than what her life was like on the show, and asked if she misses anything from her time on the show. "I miss our house in Pa. But mainly, I miss when the kids were little. Not the stress, just their cuteness. At the time it felt like the days were long…but in hindsight it sped by. And I'm sad :(," she wrote in her response. At the time their divorce was finalized, Kate was awarded sole physical custody of all eight of the couple's children. It was later revealed that one of the sextuplets, Hannah, lived with Jon, but that he had little to no contact with his other children. In 2018, Jon was awarded temporary custody of another one of the sextuplets, Collin, after he was allegedly diagnosed with a behavioral disorder and sent away by Kate to a separate school at the age of 12. She sent him to live at the Fairmount Behavioral Health System, a psychiatric hospital located in Philadelphia. In September 2024, Collin accused his mother of being "physically aggressive and verbally very abusive," during an interview with The Sun. "My mother had a room built in our unfinished section of the storage basement," he said. "She had a room put up with cameras in it, a tiny window in the corner and it was bolt-locked from the outside. It was like a containment room, and it had a mattress on the floor and that's how I lived." Following the interview, Kate's lawyer, Richard Puelo, told Fox News Digital, "She never wants to comment because she always knows that this gets taken out of context. She doesn't want to comment. Doesn't need to. The record speaks for itself." He added, "The facts belie the truth. Whatever took place, the ones that are truthful are the ones that took place… She has no comment because it's not going to change the past. And I don't believe she intentionally harmed any of her children in any way, shape or form." More recently, Collin shared an old family photo on TikTok featuring him and his siblings, writing an emotional caption about their fractured relationship, stating "Born to be a team, us against the world. Forced to do it alone, and wonder every day what our lives could've looked like." "Forced apart, pitted against each other. All the fame and money in the world, but what about kids being kids?" he wrote. "I will always love them more than anything. The tears I shed behind closed doors, thinking about the memories we could've shared. I love you guys."

Prince Andrew's Rude Comment About Kate Middleton

Prince William is absolutely not here for his disgraced uncle Prince Andrew, and has been working to evict him from the Royal Lodge—the giant home in Great Windsor Park that Andrew's been occupying and refuses to leave. And part of the reason William is so upset with his uncle is a "rude" comment he made about Kate Middleton. This claim was made in Andrew Lownie's new book Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York, where a source claimed that William "has long worked behind the scenes to evict his uncle from Royal Lodge." Meanwhile, royal expert Ian Pelham Turner tells Fox News that "Envy has always been a strong emotion within the royal family. These alleged barbed comments ultimately upset William. It's one of many 'Baby Grumpling' outbursts Andrew was famed for when flying into a rage when anyone questioned his authority." He noted that "the Royal Lodge, Andrew's home in Windsor, is a constant source of embarrassment for the rest of the family." "Prince Andrew is becoming the Titanic of the royal family, with him hitting the scandal iceberg, which could sink the whole royal ship," Turner added. "Unruly, rude, arrogant — and that's, according to the book, some of his better qualities." Yikes. On that note:
