Orlando Bloom is officially single. Signs were there in Miami months ago: report
In the wake of news that Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom officially ended their engagement, some folks aboard a cruise ship a few months ago may have already known something was amiss in their relationship.
An insider close to the situation told Page Six that Bloom was already acting single while on board MSC World America, which made its inaugural sailing from Miami last April.
Bloom, along with Drew Barrymore, is a brand ambassador for MSC Cruises' new flagship. The actors participated in a naming ceremony at the new MSC Miami Terminal, then embarked on a three-night inaugural trip to Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, the cruise line's island in the Bahamas.
Apparently, Bloom really enjoyed the high-seas gig. The insider also noted that the 48-year-old, who shares a 4-year-old daughter with Perry, was flirting up a storm in plain sight.
'He's been not subtly out and about,' dished the source, who added Bloom whooped it again a month later during the Miami Grand Prix festivities at Hard Rock Stadium.
In June, rumors of trouble with Perry and Bloom began, with insiders saying that the couple was waiting to announce the split until Perry's tour was over. ('Lifetimes' hits Amalie Arena in Tampa, Fla., Aug. 22, and Miami's Kaseya Center the following night.)
Before the July 4 holiday weekend, the exes issued a statement via UsWeekly:
'Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on coparenting,' it said. 'They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is — and always will be — raising their daughter with love, stability and mutual respect.'
They seem to be staying true to their word. The coparents were spotted on a different ship over the weekend. That would be Bezos' $500 million megayacht off the Italian coast. Perry and Bloom were photographed living the good life (along with Daisy) courtesy of the Miami Beach-based Amazon founder and his new bride.
Bloom attended the Jeff Bezos-Lauren Sanchez wedding in Venice last month stag, likely because Perry's tour had her in Australia around the date. But it appears Perry, who traveled to the boundary of outer space on the Blue Origin flight with Sanchez on April 14, didn't want to miss the after parties.

John Cena finally reveals when his last WWE match will take place
The post John Cena finally reveals when his last WWE match will take place appeared first on ClutchPoints. We're over halfway through John Cena's farewell tour, and the reigning WWE Champion revealed when his last match will take place. Advertisement He spoke to Page Six on the red carpet for his new movie Heads of State, which he stars in alongside Idris Elba, about his final match in WWE. While he would not reveal who it would be against, he promised something 'compelling.' 'Well, I don't want to downplay the action in WWE,' said Cena. 'There's always a bunch of action over there. And yes, I'm 48, my last match will be in mid-December. 'We're still trying to figure out a place to do it. I said [I would work] 36 dates in January — we're halfway through. Gosh, it's been a lot of compelling TV, and I don't want to spoil it for anybody, but I think we're just getting started,' he continued. When will John Cena wrestle his last WWE match? Cena said his last match will take place in December 2025. It is unclear at what event — perhaps the December 2025 edition of Saturday Night's Main Event — it will take place, but he will close out the year with his final match. Advertisement That means Cena has a little under half of his dates left to fulfill. At the Royal Rumble, he said he would work about 36 shows in 2025. However, that did not mean he would compete in 36 matches, so don't expect him to wrestle 15 more times before the end of the year. Cena announced his farewell tour at Money in the Bank in July 2024. He said that 2025 would be his final year of in-ring competition. So, fans around the world have gotten a chance to see him one last time. He started the year by competing in the Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber matches, winning the latter. Cena then won his record-setting 17th world championship against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41. He won with the help of Travis Scott, who got involved. Since then, Cena has held onto the title. He has successfully defended it against two of his biggest rivals, Randy Orton and CM Punk. Cena also had a feud with R-Truth, now Ron Killings, in between the others. Summer Food Truck Festival set for downtown Aurora
Aurora's food truck festival scene is growing again, with the introduction of a summer food truck event on Friday, July 18, in the city's downtown. The city of Aurora's Special Events Division will hold the summer Food Truck Festival beginning at 5 p.m. July 18 on Benton Street between River and Broadway. The summer event will join the longstanding spring Food Truck Festival held a couple of months ago during the first week in May, and the fall Food Truck Festival to be held in September. The autumn version was held for the first time last year. Christina DiCristofano, community events coordinator for this year's fests, said there were somewhere between 4,000 and 5,000 people that came out to last fall's Food Truck Festival, which gave fuel to the idea of expanding the number of food truck events in 2025. 'We're having our new summer fest on the 18th of July and one in the fall on the 26th of September,' she said. 'We've increased the numbers because we want to provide more opportunities for business owners – all the food vendors and trucks that are really trying to get out there in the community and be present and have opportunity. That's one of the main reasons. 'Last year was the first time we had one in the fall, so once we had that one we really reevaluated the event, and realized how successful it was and how much people enjoyed the festival,' DiCristofano added. 'We pivoted after that and started looking into the idea of doing an extra one and giving more opportunity to the vendors and giving people the chance to come down to Aurora and be in our downtown area.' DiCristofano said that 'people in Aurora and outside of Aurora really love this event and food trucks and being able to come out and enjoy some nice food.' The summer food truck fest will feature more than 30 options – the same as the May food truck fest – with a few new vendors replacing some that appeared earlier. 'We have about half a dozen new vendors this time, and we want to offer people another opportunity to gather and have another event where they can do so and have a good time,' DiCristofano said of the upcoming summer fest. 'We do try to showcase businesses here in Aurora and vendors that are Aurora-based, but I do try to mix it up and make sure we don't have things stagnant and keep things fresh and new, so we do have some new vendors. I plan to also have some new ones in the fall.' The event on July 18 will be held rain or shine unless there is severe weather. For more information on the summer Food Truck Festival, go to

At Aston Magna, Thomas Jefferson's favorite tunes and Baroque music by modern 30-somethings
Rembrandt Peale, "Thomas Jefferson," 1805. Oil on linen. New-York Historical Society In a phone interview, Stepner called Jefferson's music library 'quite remarkable for its breadth and depth.' He collected popular songs, piano-vocal scores for operas, musical method books, and 'quite a lot' of chamber music. His wife, Martha, was a 'serious amateur' keyboard player and they often played together. 'His wedding gift to her was going to be a harpsichord, and then he heard about this new-fangled thing called a fortepiano,' Stepner said with a chuckle. 'He canceled the harpsichord order and got her a fortepiano instead!' Get Starting Point A guide through the most important stories of the morning, delivered Monday through Friday. Enter Email Sign Up The library itself is a microcosm of the wider musical world at the time, and there was a 'huge selection of pieces' to choose from in crafting the program with soprano Kristen Watson, said Stepner. 'There's Geminiani, there's popular music of the day. … There's Haydn, Purcell, Mozart.' Advertisement But two names on the program might be more familiar to American history buffs than musicians. There are two songs by Francis Hopkinson, a signer of the Declaration of Independence and lawyer who also considered himself 'the first serious American composer,' Stepner said. The program also features music by Italian-English painter and composer Maria Cosway, who may have had a brief romantic affair with Jefferson when he was serving as ambassador to France in the late 1780s and exchanged letters with him for the rest of his life. Stepner, who has been the festival's artistic director since 1991, also curated a program focusing on late Mozart, which he said was his personal favorite this year (July 17 and 19). 'Mozart is more and more satisfying to play as I get older,' he said. In addition, he mustered an intergenerational lineup of soloists for the season finale, 'Four Fiddlers' (July 31 and Aug. 3). Each violinist will carry the virtuosic solos in one of Vivaldi's 'Four Seasons,' with Stepner claiming 'Winter.' Stepner also tends to feature one guest director per festival; this year it's historical keyboard maven Peter Sykes, who crafted an all-Baroque program called 'From Castello to Canzano.' The plot twist: Nicola Canzano, whose music concludes the program, was born in 1991. So was Nathan Adam Mondry, who also has two pieces on the program. How do a pair of 30-somethings end up writing Baroque trio sonatas and sinfoniettas? Canzano, who studied composition as an undergraduate, credits a masterclass with composer Michael Gordon that he signed up for by accident. 'I showed him what I was working on, and he listened, and he said 'Hmm! It sounds like you really just want to write Baroque music,'' he said. Advertisement Historically informed music, or music composed according to Baroque-era principles, was in fact what Canzano wanted to write. However, since his colleagues and teachers were writing in decidedly more contemporary styles, he had drunk 'the Kool-Aid that it wasn't kosher for some reason.' Once he embraced his passion for it, Canzano honed his skills through performing on the harpsichord, which typically involves a good deal of improvisation. 'Now people actually pay me to write it, which is kind of crazy. My mother still doesn't really believe it.' However, given the past several decades' surge of interest in period instruments and historical performance practices, it doesn't feel like such a logical leap to Canzano that composers might want to explore those styles as well. 'People have been playing this stuff since it was invented, which is not true of every genre of music,' he said. 'Corelli's never been out of print.' Both Canzano and Mondry are 'really terrific keyboard players and improvisers, and they're serious about writing real Baroque music,' Stepner said. 'That means they have to become contrapuntalists, and be real familiar with styles — dance music in particular — and also forms.' And at the end of the day, if you listen to his music, Canzano joked, 'you wouldn't know that I wasn't dead.' ASTON MAGNA MUSIC FESTIVAL Starts July 10. Newton and Great Barrington. A.Z.
