Kelly Clarkson's talk show returns amid tragic loss of ex-husband
Blackstock died aged 48 after a tough three-and-a-half-year battle with melanoma skin cancer.
Clarkson, 43, faced a difficult year balancing her career and family responsibilities. Earlier in 2025, she postponed some shows from her Las Vegas residency.
The singer did this to support her children, River (11) and Remington (9), during Blackstock's illness, according to Daily Mail.
'I need to be fully present for them,' Clarkson said. She apologised to fans for the cancellations and thanking them for their kindness and understanding.
The Emmy-winning Kelly Clarkson Show remains a hit, consistently ranking as the top afternoon TV programme on NBCUniversal.
The show features A-list guests such as Selena Gomez and Margot Robbie, alongside Clarkson's popular Kellyoke performances which have earned millions of views.
Tracie Wilson, NBCUniversal's executive vice president, described the show as 'a shining star that connects with viewers across generations'.
Clarkson and Blackstock married in 2013 and share two children. Blackstock is also survived by his pregnant daughter Savannah and son Seth from a previous marriage.
A family statement said, 'Brandon bravely battled cancer for more than three years. He passed away peacefully and was surrounded by family.'
Kelly Clarkson's story is deeply relatable, touching on family resilience and the challenge of coping with serious illness while in the public eye.
Though she faces a tough personal loss, Clarkson's commitment to her show and family sends a message of strength and hope.
Her postponed Vegas residency shows have been rescheduled for mid-2026, allowing her to continue her career while prioritising her loved ones.
The upcoming season of her talk show promises warmth and inspiration for fans around the world.

Victory against Chimaev is no different to any of my preceding victories, says Du Plessis
Dricus du Plessis aims to prove his status as the Greatest Of All Time in the UFC Middleweight division as he faces Khamzat Chimaev at UFC 319. | AFP The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight champion, Dricus du Plessis, emphasised that beating the number three-ranked middleweight fighter Khamzat Chimaev will carry the same weight as beating any of his opponents in the UFC thus far, despite Chimaev being highly rated. Du Plessis will face Chimaev at UFC 319 in Chicago in the early hours on Sunday morning (South African time), a fighter that many consider to be "The boogeyman" of the UFC. Because of the dominant nature of the majority of Chimaev's victories in the UFC, coupled with his unbeaten record in his career, many fighters fear him, making him one of the highly rated fighters that the South African has faced in his career. However, despite all the aforementioned reasons, Du Plessis made it clear that beating Chimaev does not carry any more weight than beating Israel Adesanya, Sean Strickland or any of his opponents in the UFC. The trash talk king added that Chimaev has been respectful to him, a feat that contributed in the lack of trash talk or banter in the pre-fight press conference on Friday. "This will mean for me exactly what it meant to beat every other guy before this. It's not about the opponent, it's not about who I face, it's about defending this belt every time somebody steps up to try and take it from me. That's all that matters to me," said Du Plessis. "This is the first time meeting him this week. I don't know the man. He seems respectful up until now, that's why there's no trash talk."

They stand where I stand, and I'm honoured to invite a whole bunch of people to stand Off the Wall with us.' This move follows the earlier launch of her beauty brand, 'Not Beauty', earlier this year. Following her success in beauty, SZA's collaboration with Vans marks another significant step in her creative path. The 'SOS' singer's new role is also a big step for Vans. The brand has a long history of working with creative people, and teaming up with her brings a fresh point of view. They intend to combine her personal style with Vans' skate and streetwear aesthetic, all while upholding the brand's core values of originality and authenticity.

Annie from the bottom of my heart, I wish you true love, healing and peace. Farewell, pretty wings,' he continued. Annie revealed that Kgolo cheated on her during their marriage. The pair met in 2016 and tied the knot in 2021 at La Paris Estate in Franschhoek in the Western Cape. Kgolo was featured on the Real Housewives of Durban , where Annie was one of the housewives. The pair have a pair of Irish twins together. 'No one likes being cheated on. It makes you question yourself a lot,' she said. 'Admitting I was being cheated on felt like saying I wasn't good enough.
