FORMER Nottingham Forest captain Terry Hennessey has died aged 82.
The former Wales international and Forest icon's sad passing was announced in a statemen by the Premier League club.

Terry Hennessey has died aged 82

A statement on the club website read: "All at Nottingham Forest are saddened to learn of the passing of former Forest captain, Terry Hennessey."
Adding: "Everyone at the Club sends their condolences to Mr. Hennessey's family and friends at this extremely difficult time."
Hennessey made over 180 appearances for Nottingham Forest between 1965 and 1970.
He also represented the likes of Birmingham City and Derby County in a career that saw him make over 400 professional appearances.

Hennessey was a 39-time Wales international, making his debut in a 4-0 thrashing of Northern Ireland in 1962.
