Kourtney Kardashian says Caitlyn Jenner was ‘controlling' and hurt her childhood
Kourtney Kardashian Barker opened up about her complicated childhood relationship with Caitlyn Jenner in a new episode of Khloé in Wonderland, her sister Khloé Kardashian's podcast.
The May 21 episode focused on step-parenting, prompting Kourtney, 46, to candidly reflect on her experience growing up with Caitlyn, who was married to Kris Jenner from 1991 to 2013.
While Khloé praised Caitlyn for never trying to replace their father, Robert Kardashian Sr., and for maintaining healthy boundaries, Kourtney disagreed. 'That wasn't my experience,' Kourtney said. 'Caitlyn tried to be controlling and bossy. I was told certain friends couldn't come over.'
She further revealed that her strained relationship with Caitlyn often led to 'yelling wars,' and recounted one incident where she attempted to call her dad but Caitlyn hung up the phone. 'I would be like, 'I wanna call my Dad,' and [Caitlyn] would hang up the phone,' she said. 'We would have yelling wars.'
The emotional distance from Caitlyn eventually led Kourtney to move in with her father during her teenage years, a decision that surprised Khloé. 'I thought you didn't like him because he was replacing Dad,' Khloé admitted, gaining new insight into her sister's experience.
Despite their different views, Kourtney said she was 'super grateful' that Khloé had a more positive relationship with Caitlyn. New episodes of Khloé in Wonderland air Wednesdays on X and Thursdays across all major podcast platforms.

Khloé Kardashian's real vs. heavily retouched photo causes buzz after BTS photo leaks
Khloé Kardashian is once again in the spotlight as fans of The Kardashians notice a striking difference between a behind-the-scenes shot and the final retouched image used for promotional purposes. The season 6 finale of the show, which aired on April 10, featured Khloé travelling to London for various photoshoots, including one for the cover art of her podcast, Khloé in Wonder Land. After the episode aired, a fan on Reddit shared their observations, pointing out the noticeable differences between the candid shoot footage and the final polished image. The Reddit post read: "Khloé is beautiful but she doesn't look like this at all. It breaks my heart for her, because she doesn't need to do all this editing." This comment has since sparked a debate online about beauty standards and the pressure on celebrities to appear flawless. It's important to note that The Kardashians has already faced accusations of using filters in every shot, so the "before" image might not have been entirely unedited either. Khloé has previously spoken about her use of photo editing, expressing her love for a "good filter, good lighting, and an edit here and there" in a candid admission about the way she presents herself online.

Kourtney Kardashian is addressing viral speculation about her 15-year-old son, Mason Disick. In a rare statement on Instagram Stories, the Kardashians star denied rumors claiming Mason has a child, calling them "fake" and urging media outlets to respect his privacy. "I rarely address rumors or conspiracies regarding myself or my family, but this is about my child," Kardashian, 45, wrote. "It feels wrong to let anyone think for a second that these lies are remotely true. They are not. Mason does not have a child."
