The practical examination for the Intermediate University Certificate (Comprehensive Exam) for the Spring 2025 session begins today.
Dr. Ahmad Al-Ajlouni, Chairman of the Higher Examination Committee and President of Al-Balqa Applied University, stated that the University's Assessment and Public Examinations Unit has completed all necessary procedures for conducting the practical exam. It is expected that 4,710 students from 50 university colleges and associate degree colleges overseen by Al-Balqa Applied University will take part, distributed across 87 academic programs. اضافة اعلان He pointed out that 45 centers have been approved for the practical exam, with 140 specialized central examination committees, consisting of 420 examiners from faculty members at the associate degree colleges and experts from the private sector. Al-Ajlouni added that the total number of students who applied to participate in this session is 7,078, distributed across 107 specializations. Of these, 4,771 students will take the exam for the first time, 1,942 are repeaters who will re-take papers they failed in previous sessions, 190 students who have exhausted their rights will take all their papers, and 175 students will re-take one or more papers to improve their grades.

The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Education for Educational Affairs, Nawwaf Al-Ajarmeh, confirmed on Thursday that the Ten-Year Inclusive Education Strategy (2020–2030) has successfully integrated 7.4% of school-aged children with disabilities into mainstream schools. اضافة اعلان Al-Ajarmeh added that the Ministry is committed to promoting social justice and safeguarding the right to education for all segments of society. He stated, 'The Ministry gives special attention to children with disabilities and works to integrate them into the educational process alongside their peers without disabilities.' Speaking at an inclusive education event organized by the Directorate of Education for the Deir Alla District under the title 'This Is Me,' dedicated to students with disabilities, Al-Ajarmeh noted that Jordan has made significant progress in educational inclusion. He pointed out that the strategy began with an inclusion rate of 1.7% and reached 7.4% by 2025, with the Ministry aiming to raise this figure to 10% by the year 2030. For his part, the Director of Education for the Deir Alla District, Mazhar Al-Rahameh, affirmed that this celebration coincides with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan's observance of Flag Day and other national occasions. He noted that the 'This Is Me' event is a practical reflection of the Ministry's plans and strategies to achieve the targeted percentage of inclusion outlined in the 2030 strategy.
