Two lottery players hit $820,000 jackpot in Georgia. Where were winning tickets sold?
Two Georgia lottery players tried their luck — and walked away with life-changing wins.
The lucky players hit the Fantasy 5 jackpot, each winning $820,337 after matching five numbers in the March 19 drawing, the Georgia Lottery said.
One of the winning tickets was sold at the Sandfly Convenience store in Savannah, and the other at the Roswell Road Food Mart in Marietta, according to the lottery.
Both players beat odds of 1-in-850,668 to snag the game's top prize, according to the lottery's website.
The winning numbers were 4-10-14-18-29, results show.
It's the latest in a string of big lottery wins for the Peach State, happening the same day that someone in Marietta scored a $100,000 prize playing Powerball.
Another lottery player won a nearly $500,000 jackpot on an instant-win ticket sold in Blairsville on March 19, according to the Georgia Lottery.
Winners in Georgia have 180 days from the draw date to claim prize money and are encouraged to sign the back of their ticket, the lottery said.
