In Hunter Season 2, Suniel Shetty's character, ACP Vikram Sinha, is on a mission to save his daughter, who has been kidnapped by the mysterious villain known as The Salesman, played by Jackie Shroff. The season delves deeper into Vikram's past and personal struggles while navigating a complex world of crime and corruption. The plot revolves around a father's journey to reunite with his daughter, which includes pain, love, sacrifice and redemption.

Hunter 2 – Tootega Nahi Todega, produced by Yoodlee Films (Saregama India's film division) and directed by Prince Dhiman and Alok Batra, will premiere exclusively on Amazon MX Player on July 24. The lone remaining defendant in the case, Jasveen Sangha, nicknamed the 'Ketamine Queen," is scheduled to face a trial next month. She is alleged to have maintained a stash house in North Hollywood for the illicit distribution of the drug. Plasencia faces a theoretical maximum of 40 years behind bars, but is likely to receive far less than that under federal sentencing guidelines. On playing a morally grey character, he confessed, 'Of course, it is not easy to play such characters. I am not Mahesh Iyer. That's not how I function… A friend of mine experienced something similar and couldn't stop crying while watching Aneet's performance. Her 7-year-long relationship broke because her partner didn't want to marry and then ghosted her. That's when I realised that people like Mahesh do exist."
