Abhinav Shukla said once the India-Pakistan conflict ends, studios will rush to trademark Operation Sindoor, and these very silent Bollywood stars will be approached for the film.
Bigg Boss 14 fame Abhinav Shukla criticised Bollywood actors for their silence amid the heightened India-Pakistan tensions. He wrote that the Bollywood stars are being extremely cautious about what they say on social media about the conflict. He then pointed out the irony, stating that these same stars, who avoid commenting now, will eagerly take on patriotic roles in future films based on the conflict. He slammed them, calling this behaviour paradoxical.
Abhinav Shukla took to X (formerly Twitter), and wrote, 'The so called iconic Bollywood heroes, are silent and are careful about what to say on social media about #IndoPakConflict! Once this conflict is done and dusted & Studios/Producers make a rush to Trade Mark Op Sindoor or any outstanding sacrifice by our Faujis, which can be made into a screenplay/film… these very silent Bollywood stars will be approached to play a Major, Wing Cdr, IN Cdr et al."
He then added, 'And trust me they will hop on to it in half the fee they charge but ENSURING THE SOUND TRACK IS SUPER PATRIOTIC and done by their favourite composer! Can someone see the paradox???"

Meanwhile, Abhinav Shukla also showed his support to fellow actor Hina Khan, who revealed that she has been receiving hateful and abusive messages ever since she backed the Indian army's strikes against terrorism.
Hina wrote, 'All my life I only saw affection from across the border. After supporting my country before and after Operation Sindoor. Many of you abused me, cursed me, many have unfollowed me. Many more threatening to unfollow me. This threat is accompanied by abuses, salacious and demeaning hate directed not just to me but to my medical condition, my family and even my faith. I don't expect you to support my country. You support yours that's ok, I don't expect you to understand the nuances beyond the mutual alienations. I only hoped that you will conduct yourself at least as humanly as I have been towards you all."
Reacting to Hina Khan's post, Abhinav Shukla wrote, 'If Strong Character has a face it's you @eyehinakhan. I can totally vouch for your patriotism & sensibilities. I also received hundreds of abuses from Pakistanis after I put Jai Hind Op Sindoor! But at least I am happy those Pakis are standing with their Country (minus the abuses). And once again Jai Hind!"

Badshah REACTS to backlash over Dua Lipa comment: ‘Meri soch nahi tumhari soch…'

Rapper Badshah landed in hot water after making a cheeky comment about international pop star . What started as a sweet appreciation post quickly turned controversial, drawing heavy criticism from social media users. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now But instead of apologising, the rapper stood by his words and offered an explanation. It all started with one simple post On June 6, took to X (formerly Twitter) and simply wrote 'Dua Lipa' followed by a red heart emoji. Fans were quick to react, with many asking if a new musical collaboration was on the cards. But things took a surprising turn when Badshah replied to one such comment with, 'I'd rather make babies with her bro.' The bold statement set off a wave of backlash online, with many users slamming the comment as inappropriate. Interestingly, the rapper hasn't deleted the post that triggered all the drama. Badshah hits back with clarification After hours of trending criticism, Badshah responded with a second post, defending his earlier comment. In his reply, he wrote, 'I think one of the most beautiful compliments that you could give to a woman that you really admire is to wish for her to mother your children. Meri soch nahi tumhari soch saamne aayi hai.' This statement sparked fresh debate online, with some backing the rapper's explanation and others remaining critical. A new look grabs attention While his comment about Dua Lipa grabbed headlines, Badshah was already making waves for another reason — his stunning physical transformation. In May, the 'Garmi' singer shared shirtless photos of himself, showing off a noticeably leaner and fitter physique. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now Fans and celebrity friends rushed to the comments section to praise the rapper's new look. What drove the change? In a past conversation with actress and fitness enthusiast , Badshah opened up about what pushed him to begin his weight loss journey. He said, 'I had many reasons for dropping weight. We did no shows during the lockdown. The shows then abruptly began to open. When I got up on stage, I knew I didn't have the stamina. My job requires me to be active for approximately 120 minutes when performing on stage. I didn't have the stamina; I started panting after just 15 minutes. As a performer, I have to give my best. That was a major reason.'

Retro director Karthik Subbaraj gets bitter reactions from netizens after reviewing Kamal Haasan's Thug Life

Thug Life starring Kamal Haasan and Simbu in lead roles had hit the big screens on June 5, 2025. Following the release, the film has been receiving mixed-to-negative reviews, but director Karthik Subbaraj had otherwise to say. In a recent post on social media, the filmmaker was seen talking about the Kamal Haasan starrer and complimented it with kind words. With a write-up, the Retro director said, 'Felt & relished the OG #Mani sir vibes in most of the scenes... Loved it #Thuglife. #ManiRatnam Sir - The Master of Vintage Gangster Dramas. Kamal Haasan Sir's performance was, as usual, a masterclass in acting.' Continuing his words, the director praised Silambarasan TR for his swag and lauded the entire cast for their performances. Subbaraj concluded by even how AR Rahman and DOP Ravi K Chandran weaved their magic in the film. Karthik Subbaraj reviews Thug Life While the director's words may have been of bliss, netizens seemed to have a different attitude towards it. Many of the users on X (formerly Twitter) hit out against him with one user saying, 'Hope you watched the same version as we did. Nothing as such happened in our version.' Another user in a similar fashion said, 'Same content/copy paste for big star movies, brother. Seriously worse review as of now.' Netizens lash out against Karthik Subbaraj's review Talking about the film, Thug Life features the tale of Rangaraaya Sakthivel, a gangster who once adopted a young boy, Amaran, after his biological father died. Years later, the foster son grows up to become a formidable member of the mafia. After an altercation and imprisonment, Sakthivel returns to his home only to see his empire now under the control of Amaran. With animosity brewing between them, the rest of the film focuses on the bad blood shared by the once-loving father and son. With Haasan and STR in the lead, the movie had Trisha Krishnan, Nassar, Joju George, Aishwarya Lekshmi, and more in key roles. On the other hand, Karthik Subbaraj was seen helming the romantic actioner Retro starring Suriya and Pooja Hegde. The movie is currently available for streaming on Netflix.

Badshah calls his ‘I'd rather make babies' comment for Dua Lipa a compliment; internet says ‘cover up to theek se karo'

Singer and rapper Badshah recently responded to a fan's query about his collaboration with Dua Lipa. However, his comment about 'making babies' with the global pop icon didn't sit well with a section of social media users, who slammed the singer for it. Now, Badshah has issued a clarification regarding his remark. (Also Read: 'Indian Kanye West': Badshah's 'I'd rather make babies with her' comment for Dua Lipa irks the internet) On Saturday, Badshah took to X (formerly Twitter) and defended his comment about Dua Lipa. He wrote, "I think one of the most beautiful compliments that you could give to a woman that you really admire is to wish for her to mother your children. Meri soch nahi, tumhari soch saamne aayi hai (It's not my thoughts, but your interpretation that's come forward)." However, the internet didn't seem entirely convinced by his clarification. One X user wrote, "Since when did 'rather make babies' start translating into 'I want her to be the mother of my kids' ???" Another commented, "What kind of compliment is this?" A third added, "Bad cover-up, bro." Another comment read, 'Bhai cover up toh theek se karliya karo (At least cover up properly brother).' Earlier, Badshah had taken to X and written, "Dua Lipa ❤️." Reacting to this, a fan asked if he was planning to collaborate with the pop singer. Badshah replied, "I'd rather make babies with her, bro." The singer faced backlash for his comment, with many internet users calling it 'disgusting.' Some even referred to him as the "Indian Kanye West." Meanwhile, Badshah recently sang Gori Hai Kalaiyan along with Kanika Kapoor, Sharvi Yadav, and IP Singh for the film Mere Husband Ki Biwi, which also features Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and Rakul Preet Singh. He is set to perform in the US as part of his The Unfinished Tour. He will kick off the tour in Virginia on September 5, and after performing in New Jersey, the Bay Area, Seattle, and Dallas, he will conclude the tour in Chicago on September 20.
