Luke Littler jumping for joy at Australian Darts Master after experiencing ‘things that we probably won't ever do again'

Humphries has spoken about his first match LITTLE HOP Luke Littler jumping for joy at Australian Darts Master after experiencing 'things that we probably won't ever do again' LUKE LITTLER hopes he is jumping for joy at the Australian Darts Masters – after a day feeding kangaroos and cuddling koalas. The Nuke made hard work of his first appearance Down Under this summer as he eventually knocked out New Zealander Haupai Puha 6-5 following minimal practice. Being nine hours ahead of the UK, the jetlag has been an issue since he arrived in the country and he said he needed a decent kip. Yet he has tried to make most of the popular tourist attractions, visiting Sydney's Opera House and then seeing the exotic animals at the Wollongong Zoo with girlfriend Faith. Littler said: 'How's the jetlag? Oh, it's awful. Same as last year. Not slept too much over here. I feel okay now. Hopefully, I will sleep well. 'I went to the Opera. I went to the zoo in Wollongong. There were koala bears, we fed kangaroos, fed goats, and yeah, there were just loads of them all. 'I think for us players, I think it's good to get out of the hotel. 'Like 85-90% of the time, we're just stuck in a hotel, so it's good to get out and experience things that we probably won't ever do again.' Littler – who now plays top Aussie Damon Heta – said: 'It was a slow start but that's what happens when you don't practise from the Matchplay. Not picked up a dart. 'It wasn't the best from myself. That's what happens in the first game, it's not always the prettiest. I had to grind it out. 4 Littler beat New Zealander Haupai Puha Credit: Getty Advertisement 4 Luke Humphries will play Belgian ace Mike De Decker Credit: Getty 'It's never easy against anyone and it's always good to just get off to a good start. 'I've just been chilling out and doing what I usually do. But now I'm here, it's down to work.' Luke Humphries's lack of match practice showed as he came from behind to beat New Zealander Jonny Tata 6-3. Advertisement When the world No.1 nailed the winning double five, he pointed to the skies but he declined to elaborate on the meaning. Asked about the significance of his actions, Cool Hand Luke said: 'Yeah, I can't talk about it right now. You'll find out. It's just bad news today that's all. 'I will enjoy these events with my dad. It's been hard for my dad recently. 'He has been going through a lot with other things that everyone will find out about soon. Advertisement 'It has not been easy for him. So, it's nice to come over here and have a bit of time out. 'I'm on holiday straightaway, for 10 days, after I come back from New Zealand. After that I will put the practice in.' Humphries, 30, now plays Belgian Mike De Decker, who complained about the cold conditions in his 6-2 win over Australian Brandon Weening. The Real Deal, who averaged a pitiful 80.33, says he will wash his hands in hot water before the quarter-final clash, over the best of 11 legs, on Saturday at the WIN Entertainment Centre. Andi Oliver ‘wants to KILL' I'm A Celeb star after he asked fans if they'd want to ‘s***' 16yr old daughter Miquita

And Charlotte Church said he did a "countdown' to her losing her virginity Mum's Fury Andi Oliver 'wants to KILL' I'm A Celeb star after he asked fans if they'd want to 's***' 16yr old daughter Miquita TV chef Andi Oliver has admitted she still wants to kill Chris Moyles - 25 years after his vile treatment of her daughter Miquita. The telly favourite, 62, hasn't forgiven the ex-Radio 1 DJ, 51, after he ran a shocking phone-in asking listeners if they'd 's**g' Miquita — who was just 16 at the time, while he was 26. Credit: Getty - Contributor Andi slammed the I'm A Celeb star's behaviour as 'misogynistic' and said she's never confronted him — but reckons he'd 'backpedal' now like a 'drunk racist' trying to excuse himself. She told The i Paper: "Miquita (who is now 41) was 16 and he had a phone-in on his show of: 'Would you shag her?' On Radio One. "I wanted to kill him. I still kind of do. There aren't many people I loathe who I've never met, but I'd do time for that man. "He'd backpedal a lot, but I don't care. It's like when people say: "Oh, I didn't really mean to call you a n****r, I was drunk". Advertisement "Yeah, well, I don't become a racist when I'm drunk. It just means you let it out." "So I don't care if it was the Noughties, when there was that awful lad culture where it was acceptable to talk about women like that." Andi also hit out at the broadcasters Miquita worked for at the time, accusing them of failing to protect her daughter. She claimed there was 'no duty of care' shown to the young presenter, who shot to fame on T4, and believes Miquita was left to navigate the industry with little support. Advertisement It comes after the singer Charlotte Church also slammed the 'gross' treatment she endured in the spotlight — including disturbing comments from Moyles himself. Charlotte, who shot to fame as a classical singer aged 12, recalled how there was a 'countdown' to her losing her virginity — which the ex-Radio 1 host discussed live on air. Chris Moyles' Radio X show in chaos as he fails to show up in studio after Glastonbury Speaking on the Sink The Pink Pop Tart podcast, the now-38-year-old said: 'Chris Moyles talked about it on Radio One. It was all a bit gross, really.' Back in 2002, when Charlotte turned 16, Moyles – then 28 – told listeners he wanted to 'lead her through the forest of sexuality', a remark the BBC later brushed off as cheeky humour. Advertisement Charlotte added: 'We've come a certain way, but there's still a long way to go in terms of feminism and equality. "There's bigots everywhere — hopefully we can heal them. Maybe some of them will just have to die out.' 6 Chris Moyles went on I'm A Celeb in 2022 Credit: Rex 6 Miquita was just 16 at the time Credit: WireImage - Getty Advertisement 6 Andi said she's never confronted him — but reckons he'd 'backpedal' Credit: Getty
