Footage emerges of Patrick Mahomes introducing Tom Brady to wife Brittany at wild Miami beach party

Daily Mail04-05-2025

Footage has emerged of the moment when Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes introduced his wife, Brittany Mahomes, to legendary signal caller Tom Brady in Miami this weekend.
The trio were all in the lively city for the Formula One showpiece of the Miami Grand Prix.
The meeting occurred at the lavish Carbone Beach party in Magic City, where Patrick stops a conversation short with Brady to introduce his wife.
Upon meeting, Brady stands up from his chair to hug Brittany with Patrick watching on from a few feet away.
Later in the evening, Patrick could be seen enjoying a bottle of beer at the boozy bash that's a glitzy version of one of New York's most famous Italian restaurants.
Famous musician Jelly Roll, former USWNT soccer player Ashlyn Harris, and NBA player Kevin Love were also with the group as they pulled out their best moves to the music playing inside the swanky venue.
Patrick, 29, and Brittany, also 29, rocked up to event casually, with the NFL superstar opting for a white over shirt and matching trousers with a baby blue top, while his wife looked as stylish as ever in an olive romper and black boots.
According to Page Six, the couple were mingling backstage with Jelly Roll, who took to the stage later in the evening to perform some of his best hits.
One notable absentee from the party and the weekend in Miami was Patrick's good friend Travis Kelce, who was in New York City earlier this week for a photoshoot.
The Chiefs star was seen near girlfriend Taylor Swift's Tribeca apartment for a rare shoot during a time where the power couple have deliberately tried to stay out of the spotlight after February's Super Bowl.
Travis was in attendance for last year's event, albeit without girlfriend Taylor Swift.
Both Kelce and Mahomes have a vested interest in F1 after they bought into French racing outfit Alpine in late 2023, with the pair spotted at several events throughout the racing calendar ever since.
Both men are enjoying some downtime in the offseason two months on from Kansas City's crushing Super Bowl defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Les Misérables audience boo Donald Trump as President angers theatregoers

Donald Trump attended the Kennedy Center in Washington DC for the first time since he announced huge plans to change the venue's programming - including a ban on drag acts Grainy footage captures theatregoers boo and heckle Donald Trump as the President takes his seat for the opening night of Les Misérables. Some cast members were expected to pull out of Wednesday night's gig at the John F Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington DC because they were aware the President was coming. He angered performers and patrons at the venue when he announced huge changes to its programming earlier this year - having controvesially been elected chairman. These plans included a cut on what he called "woke" productions, such as drag acts. ‌ And the fury could be felt in the auditorium as Mr Trump and wife Melania took their seats ahead of Les Mis. It was his first time at the venue, the national cultural centre of the US, since becoming President again - and since the massive overhaul of its output. There were also empty seats in the balconies and even in the orchestra section, with talk ahead of the gig that patrons intended to boycott the performance. It is understood understudies filled in for main performers, who also had decided to boycott the night due to Mr Trump's presence. The Mirror is working to confirm if this was the case - and how many cast members dropped out. Sales of subscription packages are said to have declined since Mr Trump's takeover, and several touring productions, including Hamilton, have cancelled planned runs at the centre. Actor Issa Rae and musician Rhiannon Giddens scrapped scheduled appearances, and Kennedy Center consultants, including musician Ben Folds and singer Renée Fleming, resigned. Yet, Mr Trump remained proud as, clad in a tuxedo, he sat for the performance on Wednesday. The politician has a particular affection for Les Misérables, the sprawling musical set in 19th-century France, and has occasionally played its songs at his events. One of them, Do You Hear the People Sing?, is a revolutionary rallying cry inspired by the 1832 rebellion against the French king. Vice President JD Vance and his wife, Usha, were also there. Ric Grenell, the Trump-appointed interim leader of the Kennedy Center, stood nearby as the President spoke to reporters. Attorney General Pam Bondi chatted with other guests. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr took selfies with attendees. But the MAGA takeover was met with heckles in the auditorium itself. People on X also shared the irony Mr Trump chose to see a performance about a mass uprising against a tyrannical king. Images on X show audience members dressed in drag, a nid to Mr Trump's criticism the venue put on drag shows before his takeover. However, some reports suggest a minority in the audience cheered the President's arrival. When reporters told Mr Trump it was expected some cast members had pulled out due to his presence, the nonchalant world leader said: "I couldn't care less."

Kansas City Chiefs weigh major stadium decision that could lead Patrick Mahomes & Co to leave state

The Kansas City Chiefs have secured Missouri state financial aid for renovations at Arrowhead Stadium while the team continues to entertain a competing offer from neighboring Kansas that could give Patrick Mahomes & Co. a new dome. Lawmakers approved hundreds of millions in tax breaks to entice Major League Baseball's Royals as well as the NFL's Chiefs to remain in Missouri amid concerns about disaster relief for St. Louis tornado victims on the opposite side of the state. The Chiefs and Royals currently play football and baseball in side-by-side stadiums in Jackson County, Missouri, under leases that expire in January 2031. Jackson County voters last year defeated a sales tax extension that would have helped finance an $800 million renovation of the Chiefs' Arrowhead Stadium and a $2 billion ballpark district for the Royals in downtown Kansas City. That prompted lawmakers in neighboring Kansas last year to authorize bonds for up to 70 percent of the cost of new stadiums in order to lure teams to their state. The Royals bought a mortgage for property in Kansas, though the team also has continued to pursue other possible sites in Missouri. Chiefs owner Clark Hunt said at the NFL annual league meeting in March he hopes to have a domed stadium to host larger spectacles, such as the Super Bowl: 'I do think for the community, a dome would be a tremendous asset. It would give the Kansas City region an opportunity to host significant events.' The Kansas offer is scheduled to expire June 30, creating urgency for Missouri to approve a counteroffer. Missouri's legislation authorizes bonds covering up to half of the cost of new or renovated stadiums, plus up to $50 million of tax credits for each stadium and unspecified aid from local governments. If they choose to stay in Missouri, the Chiefs plan a $1.15 billion renovation of Arrowhead Stadium. The Chiefs, in a statement to The Associated Press, described the legislative vote as a 'significant step forward' that enables the team to continue exploring options to remain in Missouri. The Royals described the legislation as 'a very important piece of our decision-making process' but made no site-specific commitment. 'Our focus remains the same: to prioritize the best interests of our team, fans, partners and regional community as we pursue the next generational home for the Kansas City Royals,' the team said in a statement to the AP. Though they have no specific plans in the works, the St. Louis Cardinals also would be eligible for stadium aid if they undertake a project of at least $500 million. Many economists contend public funding for stadiums isn't worth it, because sports tend to divert discretionary spending away from other forms of entertainment rather than generate new income. But supporters said Missouri stands to lose millions of dollars of tax revenue if Kansas City's most prominent professional sports teams move to Kansas. They said Missouri's reputation also would take a hit, particularly if it loses the Chiefs, which have won three of the past six Super Bowls. 'We have the chance to maybe save what is the symbol of this state,' Rep. Jim Murphy, a Republican from St. Louis County, said while illustrating cross-state support for the measure. The legislation faced some bipartisan pushback from those who described it as a subsidy for wealthy sports team owners. Others raised concerns that a property tax break for homeowners, which was added in the Senate to gain votes, violates the state constitution by providing different levels of tax relief in various counties while excluding others entirely. 'This bill is unconstitutional, it's fiscally reckless, it's morally wrong,' said Republican state Rep. Bryant Wolfin.

AC Milan hit 'problem' in talks to sign Oleksandr Zinchenko from Arsenal

AC Milan have begun talks to sign Arsenal defender Oleksandr Zinchenko, according to reports in Italy. The Ukraine international started just five Premier League games for Mikel Arteta's side this season and his campaign has once again been disrupted by a calf injury. With the rapid rise of Myles Lewis-Skelly in the first team, Arsenal are open to selling Zinchenko this summer. According to Sky Italy, AC Milan have already made an approach for Zinchenko as they are in the market to replace Theo Hernandez, who has turned down a move to Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal and is in talks to join Atletico Madrid. AC Milan have yet to reach an agreement over a fee with Arsenal, while Zinchenko's £150,000-a-week salary is also an issue for the Italian side, who finished eighth in Serie A this season.
