Let's analyze BetMGM Sportsbook's MLB odds around the Cubs vs. Tigers odds and make our expert MLB picks and predictions for the best bets. Season series: Tied 1-1 After losing 3-1 in the series opener Friday, the Cubs rolled past the Tigers 6-1 Saturday, hitting 5 home runs and cashing as -111 road favorites. RF Seiya Suzuki led the charge with 2 HRs, while CF Pete Crow-Armstrong, 1B Michael Busch and 3B Matt Shaw each went yard. Chicago will go for its eighth straight series win on Sunday. The Tigers were limited to just 1 run on 6 hits by Cubs SP Jameson Taillon (7 IP, 1 ER, 3 H, 1 BB, 5K) and 2 relievers, which helped the Under (8.5) cash for the second game in a row. The Tigers' lone run came on a fielder's choice by C Jake Rogers, cutting the deficit to 3-1 in the bottom of the fifth inning. The loss ended Detroit's 5-game home win streak. Cubs at Tigers projected starters RHP Cade Horton vs. RHP Jack Flaherty Horton (3-0, 3.51 ERA) is making his fifth start and sixth career appearance. This weekend series featuring 2 division leaders has lived up to the hype. With how evenly matched these teams are, there's solid value in backing Chicago at +120 on the moneyline. The Cubs own the best road record in baseball at 20-13 and lead the league in road batting average (.274) and road home runs (62). Suzuki has been a force on the road, batting .309 with 12 of his 16 HRs coming away from home. Busch has also thrived on the road, hitting .303 with 8 of his 10 homers coming away from Wrigley. Given the Cubs' road success and the value in the number, CHICAGO (+120) looks like the smart play in Sunday's series finale at Comerica Park. PASS. No need to play with the run line when we're getting the Cubs ML at plus money. BET UNDER 8 (-105). The Under has hit in both games of this series and looks like a strong play again Sunday. The Cubs are 7-2-1 to the Under in their last 10 games, including 4 straight. Meanwhile, Detroit has stayed Under in 3 consecutive games. Flaherty is 2-1-1 to the Under in his last 4 starts, while Horton is 1-1-1 in his last 3. Expect another low-scoring battle. Play our free daily Pick'em Challenge and win! Play now! Adell hits 2 HRs, Taylor also goes deep as Angels rally from 4 down to beat Mariners 8-6

ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) — Jo Adell homered twice, Chris Taylor also went deep and the Los Angeles Angels rallied from four runs down and beat the Seattle Mariners 8-6 on Saturday night. Cal Raleigh homered twice — giving him a major league-leading 26 — and drove in four runs for the Mariners, who have lost five straight and 12 of their last 17 games. Advertisement Angels closer Kenley Jansen, who gave up Raleigh's solo homer in the ninth, finished up for his 14th save. Taylor replaced injured right fielder Jorge Soler (groin tightness) to start the second and led off with a homer off Mariners right-hander Luis Castillo (4-4). Two outs later, Adell hit a 431-foot solo shot to left-center to trim Seattle's lead to 4-2. The Angels took advantage of two Mariners errors to score twice in the third to tie the score 4-4, and Adell's 445-foot homer to center put them ahead 5-4 in the fourth. Doubles by Nolan Schanuel and Taylor Ward pushed the lead to 6-4 in the fifth, and Zach Neto's RBI single made it 7-5 in the sixth. Adell added an RBI single in the seventh for a three-run lead as the Angels scored in six consecutive innings for the first time since 2011. Advertisement Seattle center fielder Julio Rodriguez, who singled in his first two at-bats, was knocked out of the game in the third after Randy Arozarena's hard grounder hit him above the right ankle while Rodriguez was trying to steal third base. Cole Young doubled and scored in the second and hit an RBI single in the sixth for the Mariners. Key moment Connor Brogdon (1-0) replaced Angels starter Jack Kochanowicz with runners on first and third and one out in the fourth. He struck out J.P. Crawford, walked Jorge Polanco and got Leody Taveras to fly out with the bases loaded to preserve a 4-4 tie. Key stat Adell is 13 for 32 (.406) with five homers, two doubles and nine RBIs in his last 10 games, raising his season average from .184 to .224. Advertisement Up next Mariners RHP George Kirby (0-3, 8.56 ERA) will start Sunday's series finale against Angels LHP Tyler Anderson (2-2, 3.86). ___ AP MLB: Mike Digiovanna, The Associated Press

Cowser hits tiebreaking HR as Orioles beat Athletics 7-4

Colton Cowser hit a tiebreaking 455-foot home run in the sixth inning and the Baltimore Orioles held on to beat the Athletics 7-4 on Saturday night. Ramón Laureano also homered and had three hits and three RBIs to help the Orioles get their seventh win in eight games. Gunnar Henderson also had three hits. Cowser, who homered on Tuesday in his first game back off the 60-day injured list, crushed a first-pitch cutter from A's starter Luis Severino (1-6) that landed deep into the grass beyond the outfield wall in right field. Keegan Akin (1-0) retired one batter for the win. Felix Bautista struck out three in the ninth for his 12th save. Jacob Wilson and Lawrence Butler each had two hits for the A's. Tyler Soderstrom, the team leader with 14 home runs, walked four times. Severino allowed eight hits and six runs — five earned — in 5 2/3 innings. The A's got to Morton for four runs in a wild first inning that included five hits, a bases-loaded walk and a ground-rule double that bounced into the stands near third base. Max Schuemann also drove in a run with an infield single when he slid under Morton's tag attempt near first base. The 41-year-old Morton retired seven batters and allowed six hits and four walks. Key moment JJ Bleday led off the fifth with a walk for the Athletics but was thrown out sliding into home plate trying to score on Butler's double Key stat Seven Orioles pitchers combined for 14 strikeouts, extending the team's streak with at least eight Ks to 12 games, the longest active streak in the majors. Up next Orioles RHP Tomoyuki Sugano (5-3, 3.04 ERA) pitches the series finale Sunday. The A's have not announced a starter.
