The father-of-two was surprised by presenters Christian Williams and Katie Knight outside his Glasgow home where he was handed the keys to a brand new Audi RS6.
Shortly after, he was flown down south to Dorset to see his stunning new holiday home.
The lakeside property, a four-bedroom detached Scandinavian-style house, is fully furnished with £30,000 worth of interior design.
It also boasts access to a luxury spa, nature trails and a boat store.
William said: 'I'm the luckiest person in the world to be here – the only thing I've got to moan about is I can't drive anymore.
'I obviously dreamt of winning, but you think it's just a pipe dream. This is life-changing.
'The whole day was a blur, and I was running on adrenaline. I thought I had just won the car and when I was told I had won the house I nearly collapsed.'
The former cabby was involved in a car accident that left him unable to drive or work a few years ago so he's decided to gift the brand-new car to his daughter.
In previous competitions, William has won smaller prizes, including a trip to the Isles of Scilly and an iPhone but said nothing could compare to this win.
Christian Williams said: "After everything William has been through, it was a real honour to deliver this incredible news to him.
I became a millionaire overnight after winning huge National Lottery prize but I celebrated with modest Scottish treat
"He was already speechless when we handed over the Audi RS6, but once we revealed the house, you could see how much it meant.
"Taking him on a plane to see it in person made the moment even more unforgettable.
'Whether William keeps the house and car or takes the cash, this prize will change his and his family's life.'
Katie Knight said: "The house is light, bright, and full of beautiful touches – it's a truly special home in a truly special place.
"It was amazing to see his face when he walked through the doors."

Surely Kate, who is currently the face of YSL and has multiple designers falling at her feet, can get a proper beach bag? And can't Vittoria and Lauren splash out on a pair of £1 Primark flip flops? Prince Harry's sour rift with William poses awkward dilemma as big royal event looms
It could be in the near future that the Royal Family will get to enjoy a very happy event - but it could prove awkward for warring brothers Prince William and Prince Harry A royal wedding is seemingly on the cards after a much-loved member of the family announced he is engaged. Princess Anne's son Peter Phillips revealed he popped the question to his girlfriend Harriet Sperling after a year of dating, with his fiancé being spotted at several high profile events, including Royal Ascot. Peter's uncle King Charles is said to have been delighted with the news as was his close cousin Prince William and his wife Kate. Although no date is believed to have been set for any nuptials yet, many have wondered who might bag an invite, especially as Peter is thought to be close to both estranged brothers, William and Prince Harry. It comes after news that Prince Harry will 'never be forgiven' by two major royals despite reconciliation hope. READ MORE: Prince William was 'human shield' in tense moment between Kate Middleton and Meghan And for former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond, it could prove awkward when it comes to a guest list, but predicts there could be a surprise. She explained to the Mirror: "It seems that Harriet is already a hit in the Royal family. It was quite an accolade for her to be invited to join the carriage possession at Royal Ascot, and she was seen chatting animatedly with the King. "Given that both she and Peter are divorced, I suspect their wedding may be a fairly low-key civil ceremony. But Peter is very popular in the family and so the reception could well be at Windsor Castle or another royal residence. "As with all weddings, there will be a conundrum about who to invite. Peter was always very close to both William and Harry. During the difficult times he has been something of a buffer, for example, walking between them at the funeral of their grandfather, Prince Philip. "However, it's going to be awkward for him to invite them both to his wedding. On the other hand, both William and Harry attended the funeral of their uncle, Lord Fellowes, and even though they were in the same church and then the same room it seems they did not speak. So, anything is possible. "All things considered, it might be better for Peter and Harriet to have a quiet wedding with just a few friends and family present." Peter, 47, was previously married to Autumn Kelly, with whom he has two daughters Isla and Savannah. He also dated long-term partner Lindsay Wallace before they split last year and he later found love with Harriet, an NHS nurse. In April 2024, it was revealed that Peter had split with previous girlfriend Lindsay, who were said to have amicably separated with work commitments proving a stumbling block for the pair. His split with Lindsay came four years after it was announced Peter and ex-wife Autumn had called time on their marriage after 12 years - marking a tumultuous time for his love life. Peter married his first wife Autumn back in May 2008 in a grand ceremony at St George's Chapel in Windsor, with guests including the late Queen and Prince Philip as well as his cousin Prince Harry. Although Prince William was unable to make it, the Princess of Wales was invited, despite being unmarried at the time - and it is believed the wedding marked the first time she met the late Queen. The couple spent time living in Hong Kong through Peter's previous job with the Royal Bank of Scotland and eventually settled back in the UK with their two daughters Savannah, 14, the late Queen's oldest great-grandchild and Isla, 13. However, towards the end of 2019, the couple separated and revealed they had taken the difficult step in an emotional statement in 2020. When they married in 2008, the couple raised eyebrows when the pictures from the wedding were sold to a magazine for a large sum. And Jennie added: "I imagine Peter has learnt his lesson from his first wedding, when he sold the picture rights to a magazine for £500,000. It did not go down well with the Queen or the palace, who said it had been 'a serious error of judgement'."

'I took a DNA test and discovered devastating truth my family hid for 24 years'
A woman shared her heartache after discovering a family secret her family had been hiding for 24 long years – and now she doesn't know what to do moving forward While some parents choose to tell their children about their adoption from day one, others keep the information from them until they're 'old enough to understand it'. That's exactly what one mum decided to do after adopting her daughter as an infant - but the 'secret' ended up causing issues later in their lives. The daughter secretly took a DNA test with 23andMe after realising things in her life "weren't adding up" and noticing her mum's " weird" behaviour whenever she'd ask her about her early years. She said on Reddit: "Growing up I was always suspicious of my situation. I sort of look like my parents but I'd never seen a picture of my mum pregnant, she got really defensive when shows about teenage pregnancies or infertility would come on TV, I'd found adoption magazines in the garage as a kid. "And the one thing I never really settled on was my mother had fertility trouble, was in her late 40s, and somehow took a trip while super pregnant and I ended up born in another state in a random town? "It never really added up but if I ever talked to friends about it they said I was crazy. So I took a DNA test last year, at aged 24, to lay my suspicions to rest." She came to learn she is nearly 100% English, Irish and Scottish - and she says her parents have 0% of these regions in their DNA. The woman added: "My father passed away a few years back without ever telling me. And when I confronted my mom about being Irish, her response was literally, 'Oh that's kind of weird isn't it...' "She'd been denying it and keeping up this story for so long that it really made me laugh she'd still try to keep it up somehow." After confronting her, she says her mum planned to tell her after she graduated college, then when her father became ill, then on a family holiday - but she backed out of all of these. She said: "According to my mum, my bio parents were just college kids who didn't want a kid at the time. "She showed me this suitcase from the closet with my adoption papers and one old picture of the woman and some general information. "Then when I went to get my phone she immediately closed the suitcase and hid it again. She didn't want me telling my friends I was adopted or taking down any of the information. "I didn't feel like getting into an argument over it so I let it go and didn't remember enough of the information to be able to look anything up really." But then, she received a notification from her biological mum on 23andMe simply saying she would answer any questions she might have if she ever wanted to reach out. Seeking support online, she said: "I've been thinking about it a lot, though I have nothing to say. I found her on LinkedIn and it turns out I have three half sisters. "I also looked for my bio father, since I have his full name and now college name, on LinkedIn and I'm pretty sure I found him too. "But he specifically wrote he'd like to pretend I never existed on the adoption papers. So I'm not trying to go down that road, just wanted to see what he looks like. "I just don't know what I want to do with this information. It was a lot all at once and I can't tell my mom any of this or she'll lose it. I try to talk to friends but they mostly seem uncomfortable about it." Commenting on her post, one user said: "Your story sounds exactly like mine! I found out two years ago at age 25!" Another user added: "Respond to your birth mother exactly like you told us. You just found out. You are confused and don't know what you want at this time but are not against being in contact with her. "But do respond so she isn't wondering. She probably took the test to specifically find you. It is pretty important to get a family medical history from both of them."
