H.O.T to reunite after 6 years
As per reports from SPOTVNEWS, the group is all set to reunite after 6 years on stage! The group will be performing together at the Hanteo Music Festival at the Seoul World Cup Stadium. The music festival will take place in September, where the group will perform on September 6 and 7.
A statement from the report read, 'Korea's legendary representative artists will be selected as the headliners, and this will be a symbolic project that will make a new mark in K-Pop history'.
About H.O.T
H.O.T debuted all the way back in 1996. The group debuted with 5 members in total, namely Moon Hee-joon, Jang Woo-hyuk, Tony Ahn, Kangta, and Lee Jae-won. They're one of the first generation groups in K-pop that are considered to have a lot of influence over the growing popularity of Korean music. All members of the group have gone on to have fruitful careers in the entertainment industry and have managed to make a name for themselves.
Many of their songs, such as 'Candy', 'We are the Future', 'Full of Happiness' and many more. The group later disbanded in 2001, though it has managed to reunite time and time again over the years, keeping its fan base alive and well.
The group last reunited in 2018 and 2019, when all of the members got together and performed at the Jamsil Sports Complex and Gocheok Sky Dome, respectively.
