Porn star suffers major blow as she considers lawsuit against NBA star Zion Williamson
Porn star Moriah Mills has been turned down by lawyer Tony Buzbee as she considers suing Zion Williamson.
Mills, who has previously claimed to have had a sexual relationship with the NBA star, recently contacted the high-profile lawyer as she mulls filing legal action against Williamson for an unspecified reason. That news came a day after Williamson was accused of rape by a Jane Doe, in a separate lawsuit obtained by the Daily Mail.
Now, Mills' request to be represented by Buzbee has been rejected, as the attorney told TMZ that he is declining to take on her case.
Buzbee confirmed that someone from his firm spoke with her but declined to get into specifics about her case.
'We can't comment about the details or merits of her claims,' he told TMZ.
'As you know we are contacted by numerous people across the United States daily with grievances. We can't help them all. Some of those we do take are resolved quietly. A number are filed and litigated, like the $640 million jury verdict we achieved a few weeks back. Only a small few become public.'
Buzbee, who has represented sexual assault accusers of Diddy and Deshaun Watson, told the outlet previously that he was 'evaluating' Mills' claims.
Mills also confirmed that Buzbee would not be working with her, 'stating her case didn't match what Buzbee best litigates', in the words of TMZ.
In a video posted to her TikTok on Saturday, Mills responded to the allegations Williamson is now facing. She said: 'Everybody deserves a chance to be heard and I hope me and any of the other victims all get justice.
'The amount of bashing, humiliation, slander and threats that I've been receiving these last three years have been a lot and causing me a lot of stress, emotional distress.
'I just hope we all can come to justice and this all can be resolved, and nobody has to relive all these things ever again.'
On Friday, Williamson was accused of rape and physical abuse in LA by a woman claiming to be the player's ex-girlfriend. Williamson's attorneys have denied the claims.
In addition to two specific rape allegations, the Pelicans power forward is accused of a continuing pattern of 'abusive, controlling, and threatening behavior toward Plaintiff,' as detailed in the filing provided to Daily Mail by Doe's attorney.
According to the filing, Doe and Williamson began dating around 2018 when he was attending Duke. They allegedly remained together through June of 2023, by which time he was playing in the NBA for the Pelicans.
The Plaintiff claims Williamson controlled and harmed her throughout their relationship, adding that the abuse was 'sexual, physical, emotional and financial in nature.' More specifically, the Plaintiff accused Williamson of denying her access to her phone, choking her and yelling at her for 'talking too much.'
Williamson's attorneys at Usdin, Kupperman, Freeman & Sarver released a statement denying the accusations and accusing the Plaintiff of 'demanding millions of dollars' in an 'attempt to exploit' their client.
Additionally, the statement from Williamson's representatives characterizes his relationship with Doe differently than her attorney's do.
Rather than dating Doe, Williamson's attorneys claim, their relationship was casual' and ended 'years ago.'
Mills, meanwhile, has made several claims against Williamson in the past, including that they had a sexual relationship in 2023.
When Williamson and Ahkeema Love revealed in June 2023 they would be having a baby girl, the announcement was clouded by allegations that the former No. 1 pick was having an affair with Mills.
In response to the announcement, Mills exposed her romantic relationship with the NBA star by sharing alleged screenshots of their intimate text messages.
According to Mills, Williamson never told her that he was seeing anyone, let alone that he was an expecting father.
'I was with you last week in New Orleans and you couldn't tell me you had a random thot pregnant after all I've done for you @Zionwilliamson,' Mills tweeted.
Mills also made repeated attacks against Williamson on X, claiming that there were sex tapes of the pair, and claiming he would 'lose all your endorsements' if she released them.

English court bars jailed Russian tycoon from appealing in Transneft case
MOSCOW, June 5 (Reuters) - The English Court of Appeal has refused jailed Russian tycoon Ziyavudin Magomedov permission to appeal against a decision that threw out his $14 billion lawsuit against Russian oil pipeline monopoly Transneft and other firms, the company said. Magomedov sued the company and several others at London's High Court, alleging his 2018 arrest on embezzlement charges prompted a Russian state-supported scheme to strip him of his holdings in valuable port operators. In January, Transneft, as well as U.S. private equity firm TPG (TPG.O), opens new tab and other companies, won their bid to block Magomedov's London lawsuit. Transneft said late on Wednesday that the English Court of Appeal denied Magomedov permission to appeal the ruling. "It is clear from the English process that there are massive losses which Mr Magomedov has suffered as a result of wrongdoing against him. He will continue to seek justice and a fair outcome wherever he can," a spokesperson for Magomedov said. Magomedov once controlled an empire ranging from port logistics to oil and gas through his Summa Group conglomerate, which he founded with his brother Magomed. But the brothers were arrested on embezzlement and organised crime charges in one of the most high-profile prosecutions of its kind in years. Magomedov was sentenced to 19 years in jail in 2022. He says the charges against him are unfounded and unsuccessfully appealed against his conviction.

Kim Zolciak's daughter Ariana claims her mom and stepdad Kroy Biermann spent all her money
daughter Ariana Biermann has claimed her mother and stepfather Kroy Biermann have spent all of her hard-earned money. The influencer, 23, made the claim on the first episode of her new Bravo reality TV show Next Gen NYC on Tuesday. She said she started making significant income from brand deals and sponsored social media posts aged as young as 14, but claimed her parents wiped it out. 'I was doing like three posts a week and you get paid astronomical to do a story or to do an Instagram post, and I made quite a bit of money,' she said. 'But, unfortunately, my parents took my money.' Since filing to end their nearly 12-year marriage in May 2023, Kim and Kroy have been embroiled in a nasty legal battle over their Georgia mansion, custody of their four minor children, and financial support—with Kroy previously accusing Kim of gambling away $1.5 million. But now Ariana is adding fuel to the fire, saying she discovered her money was 'gone two years ago.' She added: 'I don't even know how much money I made over the time period,' the reality star admitted. 'Nobody was honest, there was no transparency and I have no idea where it actually went.' She added that she 'can't say exactly' what her parents spent it on. Ariana also revealed the ongoing family drama has taken a toll on her relationship with boyfriend Hudson McLeroy, especially when when her mom reaches out for financial help. She admitted in a confessional: 'Sometimes I don't tell Hudson when she's asking me for something because she' going through this crazy divorce and living with four kids. 'I get it and I never want money to destroy the relationship with my family.' Money woes have loomed large over Kim and Kroy's unraveling marriage. After filing for divorce, Kroy accused the reality TV star of a severe gambling problem that he claimed left their family in financial ruin. According to court filings, he alleged Kim blew through more than $600,000 on luxury shopping sprees over a seven-year span, frequenting high-end retailers like Neiman Marcus, Chanel, and Saks. The financial pressure only escalated when their Georgia mansion—once listed at a far higher price—lingered on the market for over 18 months. In February, the troubled property finally sold, but at a steep $3 million discount, following months of foreclosure threats. Ariana's claim comes almost a week after Kim faced fresh backlash after promoting an online casino — despite ongoing claims that her gambling habit helped tank her family's finances. The accusations about Kim's gambling losses were seen in a 2023 Milton Police Department bodycam video after officers responded to the home after Kim reported a domestic dispute. During the police visit, Kroy told police that the Don't Be Tardy alum 'has decimated everything' with her penchant for gambling; he added that some of her gaming activity was illegal. Zolciak and Biermann's four kids - Kroy Jr., 15, Kash, 14, and twins Kane and Kaia, 12 - were at home at the time of the altercation. (Biermann had adopted Zolciak's older children from previous relationships - Brielle, 28, and Ariana - when they were minors in the couple's earlier years.) Ariana's bombshell financial claim also comes after she finally received her sentencing following her 2022 DUI arrest. The media personality was involved in a 'minor fender bender' at the time - but denied that she had been drinking leading up to the incident. However, she admitted to using a marijuana vape the night before. A hearing recently took place on May 23 amid her criminal case and she entered a plea deal - with charges officially being dropped, according to InTouch Weekly, which was the first to report the news. She pleaded guilty to both reckless driving as well as possession and use of a drug-related object. However, the star will have to serve 24 months on probation and if she commits any violations, Ariana could possibly serve time in jail.
