She has also contributed to film soundtracks (Sthuthi in Bougainvillea, Ulfat in CTRL), collaborated with producer NATE08 on the deep-house track You're The Reason (2025), and released the well-received singles The Lovey Dovey Song and Round 2.
A festival favourite, Mary Ann has performed at Magnetic Fields, Echoes of Earth, and Vh1 Supersonic, earning praise for her captivating stage presence. Vivek Agnihotri On Anurag Kashyap Calling Him ‘Liar': ‘My Film Suffered Due To His Alcoholism'

Last Updated: Vivek Agnihotri reacts to Anurag Kashyap's 'jhoota aadmi' remark, saying he stands by his claim that Kashyap's alcoholism affected their film. Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri has responded to Anurag Kashyap's recent 'jhoota aadmi" (liar) comment, opening up about their long-standing professional differences. Speaking to Siddharth Kannan, Vivek acknowledged Anurag's immense contribution to Indian cinema but maintained that his earlier remarks about Kashyap's drinking habits were true. 'Usko chhodo. Woh raat mein kya bolta hai, subah kya bolta hai, dono mein farak hai… Yes, I had talked about his drinking habits, and that's the truth. But I never said Anurag is a bad guy — he is a wonderful guy," Vivek stated. He praised Anurag's creative legacy, calling him irreplaceable and a pivotal figure in the history of Indian cinema. 'My Film Suffered Because of His Alcoholism' The war of words reignited after Anurag publicly labelled Vivek a liar on social media, reopening wounds from their fallout during the making of Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal. The film, featuring John Abraham, Arshad Warsi, and Bipasha Basu, reportedly faced production issues that Vivek attributes to Anurag's drinking at the time. 'But my film suffered because of his alcoholism. What's wrong with that? I used to drink a lot during a time period in my life and suffered at work because of it. It happens," Vivek explained. He also reiterated his claim that Anurag handed over his work to Vikramaditya Motwane, suggesting those involved in the project could confirm it. Vivek's Next Film: The Bengal Files Moving forward, Vivek is focused on his upcoming project, The Bengal Files. Following the massive success and controversy of The Kashmir Files, this film aims to explore West Bengal's history of political violence and ideological conflict. The cast includes Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, Pallavi Joshi, and Darshan Kumar in key roles. While the filmmaker and Anurag may remain at odds over past incidents, both continue to shape Indian cinema in their own distinct ways, one through politically charged narratives and the other through gritty, genre-defying storytelling. Wednesday star Jenna Ortega opens up about her struggle with OCD amid rising fame

Wednesday aired almost three years ago on Netflix, and now, it is happening once again. Season 2 of the Emmy-winning Netflix show, which includes black-pigtailed, emotionally reserved high school student Wednesday Addams, the character played by Jenna Ortega, was released on Wednesday, 6 August. It is composed of eight episodes in Season 2. Four of them are published under Part 1. The rest of Season 2 will come out on September 3. Among the returning cast are Jenna Ortega, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, and Fred Armisen. There are new cast featured, such as Lady Gaga, Haley Joel Osment, and Joanna Lumley. As the season 2 is making rounds on the internet, the main lead – Jenna Ortega has opened up about dealing with OCD. What happened with Jenna Ortega? Jenna Ortega had her own brushes with troubles despite gaining major success at an early age. Just like most members of the current generation, who can be struggling to handle mental issues, the award-winning actress was once documented as she lamented her obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) problem. Why is Jenna Ortega trending on social media? In a throwback interview conducted with Heart, a leading UK-based radio brand, Jenna opened up about the impact of OCD on her everyday life, mostly when she feels overwhelmed by the everyday routine of being a young artist in the entertainment world. 'It is quite hard since my work puts me on the road all the time, and it is never a familiar setting. Whatever the workplace is, you sort of invent a new routine, which you can only keep for six weeks, and then you are off to the next stuff. I get to bed when I should, 8 p.m. or 8:30, but I do not because it is the only time I get stuff done,' Jenna Ortega continues. 'And I also get very intense OCD when I am feeling tired.' Jenna Ortega said, 'Noticing repetitive thoughts and counting things over and over and doing the same thing repeatedly.' Jenna further mentioned her weird habit of checking everything in her house and said that during the night, sometimes she used to feel very tired and go up and down the stairs six times because she thinks that is what she can do to ensure that no one can intrude in her house. In the same interview, Jenna Ortega also mentioned that she is trying to meditate, and it has been a learning curve, but she is really good at it now. As for now, she has been completely satisfied with her progress in dealing with OCD most peacefully. Jenna concluded by saying, 'It's been nice to kind of deal with that in a peaceful manner.' What is OCD? Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is characterized by the existence of a pattern of thoughts and fears, like that of obsessions. These compulsions make you perform repetitive behaviors. These obsessions and compulsions interfere with normal duties and bring a lot of distress. What is the response of the audience to Wednesday: Season 2? Wednesday Part 2 emerged with a powerful yet kind of mixed reception to Part 1, which was hugely popular. Even though the fans were pleased with the darker tone, character advancement, and gothic elements, they spoke out on the lack of a compelling mystery as in the previous one. Nevertheless, the acting of Jenna Ortega and the individual style of the show invited the audience to continue watching.
