UK viewers can finally binge 'gripping' Australian thriller series
An Australian thriller based on a best-selling novel can now be binged in full in the UK.
In 2020 the first season of the psychological thriller series The Secrets She Keeps hit screens.
Based on the book of the same name by acclaimed crime-fiction writer Michael Robotham, it was adapted by Sarah Walker and Jonathan Gavin, the former who worked on shows including Home and Away, Neighbours and All Saints.
Set in Sydney, the series follows two women from 'vastly different backgrounds with explosive secrets that could destroy everything they hold dear'.
It stars Jessica De Gouw (Arrow, Dracula) as Meghan Shaughnessy, who is happily pregnant with her third child. However, her husband Jack (Michael Dorman) is on edge, facing money issues and a stressful job.
Meanwhile Agatha Fyfle (Downton Abbey's Laura Carmichael) is also pregnant, with both women's lives soon colliding.

At the time of its release, critics were somewhat unconvinced by the storyline but praised the lead stars' performances.
'Without performances as layered and emotionally sound as the ones Carmichael and De Gouw give, The Secrets She Keeps would be little more than the aforementioned pulpy ride,' Paste Magazine shared.
'The whole thing is held together by Laura Carmichael as Aggie, a compulsive liar played at the screeching end of camp, complete with weird, limp hair and beaky fury,' The Sunday Times wrote.
'The leads bring more than enough credibility to their roles to make the series worth watching,' Decider added.
However, viewers were much more glowing in their reviews.
'It was gripping, and off-the-charts, and more than once, difficult and even stressful to watch. But this is what the best dramas do: they evoke a response from the viewer, and this did that in spades,' user InnerWisdom1000 posted on IMDB.
'Good casting, very entertaining and pretty tense at times. Would definitely recommend,' Laura wrote.
'First episode I wasn't sure, but this series turned into a binge watch for me! Dark, and with some pretty good twists, the story of Agatha and Megan is brilliantly done. Agatha especially gets more and more bonkers in a sinister way,' Juli added.
Although the first season was originally made available on BBC iPlayer, it was later taken down.
But two years after the second season was released, UK fans and those yet to tune in can now watch both in full on Channel 4, where the show has been uploaded this week.
The original novel was inspired by the kidnapping of newborn baby Abbie Sundgren in Nottingham in 1994.
Just three hours after her birth, Abbie was taken by a woman posing as a nurse, who kept her for 17 days.
At the time Michael was working as a journalist in London and covered the story, which he used as the basis of his novel nearly 20 years later. More Trending
'The idea stuck with me and the turning point came when I thought about an added element — what if it wasn't just a random baby that was taken? What if someone had faked a pregnancy and intended to steal a baby …and they had chosen the baby they wanted to steal,' he previously told The West Australian.
While the novel was set in the United Kingdom, the television adaption was set in suburban Sydney — a change the author encouraged.
'When I was approached, I was asked if it was a deal-breaker to me, but it didn't really cross my mind. It is a universal story. The TV series has done an astonishing job and Jess and Laura have done an amazing job playing two women from two different sides of the economic equation … one with a nice husband and a nice house in an expensive neighbourhood, the other, who is living in much poorer circumstances, just trying to get by.'

£70 Zara dress that 'looks great with a tan' looks 'just like' designer style
Zara shoppers have fallen for a 'classy' black dress they love for weddings and special occasions Zara has delighted shoppers with a "gorgeous" black dress that's been compared to a designer style. Fashion fans loved the £69.99 Halter Ruffle Long Dress when it was showcased on TikTok by @thescousestylists. Georgina and Jess, who are known for sharing styling tips on the account, dedicated a video to Zara's dress. In the popular post, they said: "I just love this. I think if you've got a special event coming up, it's gorgeous." They praised the "fab" dipped hem, suggesting "it would be lovely on holiday" or for a special occasion. The pair thought the dress would look stunning with gold accessories. "I just love all the ruffles on it," they said. They added that it would look "very nice" with a tan. The duo thought it could be an ideal pick for weddings, as black is an increasingly popular choice for guests, provided it doesn't clash with the couple's colour scheme. Shoppers loved the dress. A viewer replied: "That's a gorgeous dress!" An excited commenter added: "Classy!!" Someone else said the style reminded them of another brand's dresses. The comment explained: "They've similar allsaints over £230!" While it wasn't clear which style the shopper meant, they could have been referencing AllSaints' £279 Sienna Ruffled Maxi Dress. While there are differences between the dresses, there are arguably many similarities. Both black maxi dresses have a similar silhouette, with a high-low skirt and ruffle detailing. You could likely wear either dress to the same event with the same styling choices. In the product images, both brands modelled their dresses with matching black shoes, though Zara opted for wedge sandals while AllSaints opted for black cowboy boots. However, it's worth noting that the Zara dress has a halter neck shape. In contrast, the pricier style has an asymmetrical design with an off-the-shoulder sleeve. There are also fabric differences. Zara's product description reads "Halter neck long dress with buttons. Ruffle detail. Inner lining. Asymmetric hem. Side zip fastening concealed in the seam." Both the lining and the outer shell are 100% polyester. AllSaints' product description reads: "We've got a thing for ruffles this season. Our statement Sienna Dress is full of volume and layered with five heavily ruffled tiers that create a high-low hem. "A bit of drama, but always playful – we love this dress for all seasons." The lining is 100% recycled polyester, while the shell is 74% lyocell and 26% polyamide. AllSaints also offers a Nat Ruffled High Low Maxi Dress, which has a high-low skirt but presents a different look thanks to its long sleeves, on sale for £167 from £279. There's also a £229 Cavarly Tiered Ruffle Maxi Dress with a scooped neckline and high-low detailing. Regardless of which dress shoppers prefer, both the full-priced styles offer Zara shoppers a significant saving on a similar style. Zara's dress is almost £160 cheaper than the Cavarly Tiered Ruffle Maxi Dress and over £200 cheaper than the Sienna Ruffled Maxi Dress. Zara also offers a selection of ruffle dresses, but they don't share the high-low feature. For instance, there's a £99.99 Long Ruffled Dress - ZW Collection and a 39.99 Metallic Thread Midi Camisole Dress, which offer a different take on the maxi dress style. Unfortunately, the Zara dress is currently out of stock in most sizes online. However, shoppers can locate their nearest Zara store here.

How Molly-Mae duped the Kardashian's fame formula to avoid Love Island stigma & it'll make her an ‘eye-watering amount'
Molly-Mae is making smart moves to "increase earnings" and it appears to be working MOLLY-MAE DO How Molly-Mae duped the Kardashian's fame formula to avoid Love Island stigma & it'll make her an 'eye-watering amount' MOLLY-MAE Hague is reportedly in talks for a second series of her documentary, Behind It All, with production already in progress. The highly anticipated new series is expected to air either later this year or in early 2026. Advertisement 31 Molly Mae became the UK's answer to Kim Kardashian Credit: Instagram 31 Both Molly-Mae and Kim K have millions of followers Credit: Instagram / Balenciaga 31 Kim Kardashian rocking short blonde hair Credit: Instagram 31 Molly Mae Wimbledon ready in sleeveless white dress and a fringe Credit: Instagram The turbulent relationship between former Love Island stars Molly-Mae Hague, 26, and Tommy Fury, 26, has been a key factor in securing her the opportunity for another reality TV series. It's little surprise that she's often compared to the UK's answer to the Kardashians. Much like the groundbreaking reality series Keeping Up With The Kardashians, which follows the day-to-day lives of the famous family and appeals to a core demographic of women aged 18 to 49, Molly-Mae's show strikes a similar chord. A telly insider revealed: "It was the most-watched show by females in the UK in the hugely valuable 18 to 35 age group. That's a crucial market for the streamer." Advertisement And while the Kardashian-Jenner family are worth billions of pounds, Molly-Mae and her family could be heading that way given enough time. Since leaving the villa in 2019, the reality-star-turned-business-mogul has built a £6 million empire for herself, making her one of the most successful stars to have appeared on the show. And it appears that she's only on the way after already becoming one of the 'most inspiring young people in the UK' while also making The Sunday Times Young Power List 2025. Publicist and ex TV producer Emma Bunning, who has over two decades in the industry, says: 'Distancing herself from the Love Island stigma, Molly-Mae has established herself as an icon in her own right, going on to achieve what most islanders dream of in terms of fame and fortune. Advertisement 'But her subtle emulation of the Kardashian sisters over the years could see her rake in the multi millions as she morphs herself into the UK's answer to the Hollywood mega stars. 'From her self confessed Kardashian inspired walk in-wardrobe to the pared back jewellery free red carpet look after a robbery; you can count the ways in which she has taken 'inspiration' from the successful sisters. Molly Mae drops HUGE C4 show hint as she returns to reality TV for first time since Love Island 'Molly is an astute business woman as well as being incredibly clever and considered in her strategy. 'She knows that the most successful influencers in the world are the Kardashians and it's a tried and tested formula to follow in their wake. Advertisement 'This means BIG money and she's made smart moves to increase her earning potential in this way. 'Currently worth an estimated £6 million, if she continues on this trajectory, she could see herself doubling this income and tipping into the £20 million bracket over the next few years.' Here, we take a look at the 'exact formula' which can help Molly-Mae to become a perfect Kardashian dupe - and it'll be sure to rake her in millions. The couple, who share a one-year-old daughter, Bambi, previously lived in a stunning £4 million six-bedroom home in Manchester. However, they are reportedly moving between homes as they work through their relationship. Advertisement Molly-Mae has firmly established herself as the 'Queen of Influencing', boasting an impressive 8.6 million Instagram followers. She also held the role of Creative Director at PrettyLittleThing from 2021 to 2023, reportedly earning an incredible £5 million a year during her tenure. With her ever-growing influence, Molly-Mae seems well on her way to building a global following akin to the Kardashians, who collectively have millions of devoted fans. It seems Molly-Mae shares a similar taste, which is an impressive nod to her success. But it doesn't stop there - private jets are another preferred mode of travel for these reality stars. Both Molly-Mae and the Kardashians aren't shy about showing off their lavish lifestyles, regularly sharing snaps of their travels with their millions of followers. The advertising campaign featured models lounging in nude underwear, which reminded many of the imagery Kim used to promote her shapewear line. Even the group shots, with women posing together and parts of their bodies cropped out, had some fans drawing parallels to Kim's iconic aesthetic. The collection, featuring primarily base layers and faux leather pieces, immediately grabbed attention, amassing an impressive 504k followers on Instagram within its first week. However, the pricing raised eyebrows, with a strapless mini dress costing £110 and a black trench coat retailing at £215, leaving many shoppers stunned – much like the reaction to Molly-Mae's previous ventures. The faux leather range also faced criticism from fashion fans on social media, with many comparing it to affordable brands like Boohoo. Both stars share a love for timeless wardrobe staples, often opting for neutral tones like black, white, cream, and grey. And, much like her American counterpart, Molly-Mae has moved away from bold Louis Vuitton and Balenciaga pieces, favouring the more refined styles of Chanel and Hermès Birkin bags. Both of their homes reflect a sophisticated yet understated elegance through clean lines, open spaces, and carefully selected furnishings. And to prevent the interiors from appearing too plain, they incorporate textures such as marble, wood, or soft furnishings to add depth and warmth. Concerns were heightened as Molly-Mae stepped into the spotlight with her impressive engagement ring. Following a 2021 break-in at her home, she has been particularly cautious about showcasing her wealth, especially now that she often has her daughter, Bambi, with her. Molly-Mae is said to be mindful of what happened to Kim Kardashian in Paris in 2017, when Kim was left traumatised after being tied up and held at gunpoint in her apartment by thieves who stole her jewellery, including a £3.5 million 20-carat engagement ring. How Dundee United new boy Zac Sapsford fumbled Bakary Saka jersey when his bottle crashed
Dundee United's first summer signing Zac Sapsford has revealed how he missed out on a signed Bakary Saka jersey when his bottle crashed – literally. The Australian forward arrives at Tannadice with a hidden skill, and it caught the eye of ex-Chelsea, Manchester United and Spain superstar Juan Mata, a teammate at Western Sydney Wanderers last season. Sapsford, 22, has a talent for bottle flipping and, after showcasing the ability over lunch during an away trip, Mata challenged the youngster to land THIRTY in a row in return for a shirt of his choice. Sapsford opted for Arsenal ace Saka – and came agonisingly close. Instead, he was tasked with weeks on the coffee run. 'I'm pretty good at bottle flipping,' he told the Row Z FC podcast. 'We were at a hotel and had just finished dinner and I was doing some bottle flips. Juan said, 'wow, you are really good at that'. Then he told me that if I got 30 in a row, he'd get me whatever jersey I want. 'I said, 'make it a signed [Bakary] Saka jersey, and I'll do it'. So, I started, and the whole team was watching. It's getting very pressurised. I had like 28 in a row and flipped it up…then it fell. 'Everyone was all around me – even the coaches – and it was not good. I was that close. 'Instead, my punishment was to get him seven coffees whenever he wanted!' Nevertheless, the tale speaks to the rapport shared by the erstwhile teammates; two men at the opposite end of their career journeys. Mata, 35, boasts a World Cup, two European Championship and a Champions League among an astonishing haul of medals and Sapsford readily admits that the mercurial midfielder is TOO GOOD to learn from. However, his influence was still tangible. 'On the pitch, there's not much to learn from Juan – because he's too good,' he continued. 'You can't really take too much from him because you look at some of the things he does and say, 'I'll never be able to do that'. 'But off the pitch, he is an amazing person and the bits of advice he gave me in different scenarios was invaluable. 'Whether it's reacting to coming off or being annoyed at being benched one week; he'd tell me how he went through those things at top-level clubs. 'Those types of things helped me through the season, and to have someone like that somewhat mentoring you was a cool thing.' Sapsford has penned a three-year deal with the Tangerines and, along with Moldova international Iurie Iuvo, represents the first pieces of Jim Goodwin's summer rebuild at Tannadice. And he told United fans what to expect. Asked what attributes he would bring to the Scottish game, Sapsford said: 'I'd say my link-up play. 'I like to drive with the ball if I get the chance; I'm really good at that. And although I'm not super tall, I like to win most of my aerial duels. Goalscoring and assists, too. I like to set players up and find the killer pass. 'I'll never stop running and I love putting all my energy out there. I'll never come off the pitch feeling like I haven't given everything.' Sapsford, who still harbours a dream of making the Australia World Cup squad next summer, added: 'What I am expecting (in Scotland) is a lot of physicality. 'I'm happy with that. I like a bit of contact in games. That's what football is for and I'm ready for anything.' You can listen to the full episode of Row Z FC here.
