Russell Martin's ex-teammate gives verdict on potential Rangers move
The Rangers Review revealed on Tuesday afternoon that while the club has yet to offer the role of head coach to any prospective appointee, the 39-year-old is the likelier candidate to replace Philippe Clement at Ibrox.

Speaking ahead of Scotland's friendlies against Iceland and Liechtenstein this month, the keeper delivered his verdict on the potential appointment of his old skipper at Rangers.
"He was a very intellectual guy," he said.
"I went in there [Norwich] as a young goalkeeper and he helped me massively, even though he wasn't in the team every week and playing regularly, he was captain of the club and had good relationships with everyone in the dressing room.
"Watching what he did at Southampton, he did incredibly well there and probably was unfortunate to lose his job there because it's always difficult for teams coming up from the Championship to compete with some of the Premier League teams.
"I watch him now on TV, and the way he wants to play and his philosophy. I really hope that whatever he goes on to in his career is successful.
"But I don't know if he's going to go to Rangers. Obviously, he had a spell there, so he knows the club a little bit, and I think it would be a really good thing for Rangers to be fair."
