One of Caitlin Clark's top rookie cards hits the auction block at Alt on Friday morning, and the company believes it could set an all-time record when bidding concludes.
The 2024 Panini Prizm WNBA Gold Vinyl 1/1 PSA 9 has never sold at public auction and was one of the biggest chase cards from Panini's flagship WNBA release.

The current record for any Clark card at public auction is $366,000, set in March, which is also the record for a card of any female athlete.
The current record-holder is Clark's 2024 Panini Prizm WNBA Signatures Gold Vinyl 1/1 PSA 10/10. Unlike the card coming to auction at Alt, that card has an autograph from Clark.
In fact, Clark's top three card sales all have autographs, with the top sale for a non-autographed card the $105,326 paid for her 2024 Panini Select WNBA Gold Vinyl 1/1 PSA 10 in February.
The most expensive card sold through Alt is a 2003 Upper Deck Exquisite Collection LeBron James RPA, which cleared $560,000 in August 2024.

Kiki Iriafen named May WNBA Rookie of the Month
Kiki Iriafen named May WNBA Rookie of the Month The first month of the 2025 WNBA season is officially in the books. On Wednesday, the league its announced its awards for the month of May. Sure enough, the league's first Rookie of the Month in 2025 was none other than USC product Kiki Iriafen. Iriafen is eight games into her rookie season with the Washington Mystics. In her first month in the pros, she averaged a double-double, putting up 14.6 points and 10.0 rebounds per contest. Washington currently holds a record of 3-5 on the young season. After spending the first three years of her college career at Stanford, Iriafen transferred to USC for her senior season in 2024-2025. In her lone year with the Trojans, Iriafen averaged 18.0 points and 8.4 rebounds per game. Teaming up with superstar Juju Watkins, she helped lead the Trojans to a Big Ten regular season title, a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament, and a trip to the Elite Eight. The Mystics selected Iriafen with the No. 4 overall pick in April's WNBA Draft. Obviously, it is still extremely early, but thus far, her professional career is off to an incredibly promising start.

Indiana Fever Get Good News Amid Caitlin Clark's Injury Absence
Indiana Fever Get Good News Amid Caitlin Clark's Injury Absence originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Indiana Fever are in the midst of a concerning injury dilemma at the moment. Caitlin Clark is expected to miss at least two more games with a quad injury, including Tuesday's contest against the Washington Mystics. Advertisement To make matters worse, backup guard Sophie Cunningham has also been ruled out for Tuesday's home game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The 28-year-old, who joined Indiana as a free agent during the offseason, had to be helped off the court in the fourth quarter of the Fever's loss to the Connecticut Sun. Cunningham aggravated a right ankle injury that kept her out of Indiana's first two games of the season, and it now remains to be seen how much time she will miss with this new issue. The silver lining for the Fever is that they still got some good news on Monday ahead of the Mystics game. This came in the form of veteran guard Sydney Colson, who was deemed healthy enough to suit up for Tuesday's contest. The two-time WNBA champion had to exit the game in the first quarter with a leg injury and was not able to return. Advertisement There was some doubt surrounding Colson's status after her injury scare, but it now appears that she will be able to play on Tuesday and continue filling in for Clark in the starting five. It is also worth noting that the Fever signed 5-foot-6 guard Aari McDonald on Monday via an emergency hardship exception, and she, too, is available to play against the Mystics. Aliyah Boston's Behavior Toward Caitlin Clark Before Fever Game is Turning Heads
Aliyah Boston's Behavior Toward Caitlin Clark Before Fever Game is Turning Heads originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Caitlin Clark is missing her third straight game on Tuesday as the Indiana Fever host the Washington Mystics at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Advertisement The reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year is still nursing a quad injury that is expected to force her to miss at least one more game, which comes in the form of a highly anticipated matchup against Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky on Saturday. For now, the Fever will need to take the court again without their best player as they look to put an end to their three-game losing streak. Aliyah Boston will need to be at her best against Washington on Tuesday. The All-Star forward has had to carry a heavier load with Clark sidelined, and the same will be the case again when the Fever take on the Mystics. The cameras caught Boston's behavior toward Clark just before the game. In the video below, Boston is seen signalling Clark to sit beside her on the bench for their usual pregame pep talk. Boston's gesture quickly grabbed the attention of fans on social media. Advertisement "the way she pointed at her 🥲🥹" a comment on X read. "i love their ritual so bad," said another. "this continues to be my favorite part of fever games," a supporter wrote. "We need fan to do a collection video of this," demanded a viewer. It is unclear exactly what Clark told Boston during their pregame conversation, but based on how Clark had her hand wrapped around Boston's shoulder, it appears that the Fever guard had some words of encouragement for her teammate. Indiana is in dire need of a win on Tuesday as they enter the Mystics game with a disappointing 2-4 start to the season.
