The Nigerian-American comedian made headlines earlier this year for accidentally causing audience members to swear during a call-and-response session while playing her comedy character Miss Eggy on the Weekend Update segment of SNL in April.
The incident sparked rumours of a potential review by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), but ultimately, no penalties were imposed. 'I don't believe we got fined,' she told Gold Derby in May. 'I asked
Lorne [Michaels , the creator and showrunner] a couple of weeks ago and I was like, 'Did anything happen? Did we get fined?' And he was like, 'I don't think so.' And so, because he was semi-confident, I, too, am semi-confident that we didn't get fined.' She added jokingly: 'The money didn't come out of my bank account, so that's why I haven't confirmed.'

Nwodim is known for her comedic range.
'Lisa from Temecula' is one of her most popular characters. Lisa is a blunt, assertive, and somewhat 'off-the-wall' lawyer whose signature trait is ordering her steak 'extra well done' and vigorously shaking the table to cut it.

Why Nobody 2's Bob Odenkirk doesn't want to be another Jason Statham or Liam Neeson
As with his iconic comedy sketches for Saturday Night Live or Mr Show, just give actor Bob Odenkirk a moment with an idea and he will come up with a premise unique and funny enough to steal attention. Being able to draw out the funny side in characters such as the scheming Saul Goodman in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul helped him find the balance between dark humour and extreme violence in the original Nobody (2021). 'I'm not a handsome guy or a young guy,' says Odenkirk, 62. 'I think I work well on the screen as a regular guy who has a certain amount of pressure.' In the second instalment of the franchise, Odenkirk returns as Hutch Mansell , the mild-mannered suburban husband and dad with a dark past who stumbles into trouble while taking his family on holiday. On cue, he releases his pent-up rage on irredeemable bad guys in a satisfying comic wave of cathartic violence that often leaves him just as battered and injured as his victims. Veteran actor Christopher Lloyd , Connie Nielsen and rapper RZA return from the first film, while Colin Hanks and Sharon Stone join the new film as villains. Bob Odenkirk says he thinks he works well on screen 'as a regular guy who has a certain amount of pressure'. Photo: TNS While the fights in the films are highly choreographed, when Mansell takes a punch to the face, is stabbed or shot, you can see him writhing in agony in a way most film heroes never would. It is something that Odenkirk specifically saw in the early stages of his character.

Controversial new US Open mixed doubles event draws plenty of criticism
The new US Open mixed doubles tournament drew plenty of criticism for everything from its format to its field. With mostly singles players – some who rarely play doubles at all – and an unusual scoring system, it felt so much like an exhibition that Jessica Pegula had to scold partner Jack Draper when he called it just that in their press conference. 'He shouldn't be saying that, but that's OK,' Pegula said, later adding that 'it's not an exhibition.' No, it's a real grand slam championship and it debuted on Tuesday to positive reviews from players and fans. The fast-pace event, with shorter matches and a smaller field, is already down to its final four. Whoever wins the trophy on Wednesday night – and a $1 million prize – won't apologise for the way they got it. Carlos Alcaraz (left) with mixed doubles partner Emma Raducanu at the US Open.
