A Vinted buy, a kilt and a suit to match my eyes: street style at the Royal Academy summer party
The look: 'It's a very old Alaïa, and that's kind of it. The sunglasses are Dolce & Gabbana.' The exhibition: 'I've been coming since I was 18. Today I'm looking to buy. I'm looking at Elizabeth Day who did a photograph in room five, and in room three.' Photograph: Sarah Lee/The Guardian
The look : 'I don't always wear lilac. Until a few years ago, I wore black and navy. I went to Wimbledon and I was so hot wearing a suit. I thought: 'You know, there must be a better solution to this.' So I searched kilt makers and found one in Scotland, who is an artist as well. I said I want a whole range of summer pastel coloured kilt outfits for Wimbledon and that's basically where it all started.' Photograph: Sarah Lee/The Guardian
The look : 'It's a mixture of modern and vintage. The dress is from the 60s but the coat is modern – I just got it on Vinted. I really felt that, you know, you need a white vinyl coat. The shoes are Orla Kiely when she was doing a collaboration with Clarks. The beret is by my friend Flora McLean. She is a hat designer and an eyeglass designer.' The exhibition: 'I love to see how the rooms are curated – and how it's always interesting artists who are not Royal Academicians, like me, in the show. There's always some really beautiful, surprising and funny works.' Photograph: Sarah Lee/The Guardian
The look : 'My outfit is designed by Junya Watanabe, a Japanese designer.' The exhibition : 'I have spent a lot of time with every single one of these works so I know them well. I was actually going around now thinking: 'What would I buy myself?' Because until now it has been about selecting the works and how to hang them, what to put next to what.' Photograph: Sarah Lee/The Guardian
Grayson's look: 'A student made it for me about 10 years ago. I just dug it out of the back of my wardrobe. I thought it would be kind of colourful for this evening.' Philippa's look : 'It's an ordinary outfit from an ordinary shop. The necklace is from the Wallace Collection, the gift shop. It's a Grayson Perry, Tatty Devine joint project.' The exhibition [Grayson] : 'My own work, of course. Because I'm a terrible narcissist. I believe being a narcissist is quite fashionable nowadays, isn't it darling?' Photograph: Sarah Lee/The Guardian
The look: '[The jacket] is from Zara, and the sweatshirt is from the Ritz Hotel in Paris. They very kindly gave it to me as a present. The camera is a Leica Q2. I started using Leica's M4s in 1976 because I saw all these American servicemen coming back from Vietnam with those cameras and thought I've got to have one of those. I went to this shop in Bond Street called Campkins that sold secondhand Leicas and bought two of them. I still have them to this day.' The exhibition : 'It should be quite good. There should be some interesting people.' Photograph: Sarah Lee/The Guardian
The look : 'The shoes? They're from Onitsuka Tiger – they're Japanese. I love them. I don't want people to buy them! And [the dress] I just got on the internet, I can't even remember the name of the company. It just came up on Facebook and I thought: 'This is me.'' Photograph: Sarah Lee/The Guardian
The exhibition: 'I love coming here to see everything. It's an incredible display of art, the likes of which you don't see on this scale really.' Photograph: Sarah Lee/The Guardian
The look: 'I'm always on the hunt for a good vintage dress and this was an eBay find. I'm always just repping, being obsessive and shopping online. This is a Simone Rocha clutch that I got in a sample sale, so I had to fight tooth and nail for it. It was so worth it.' The exhibition: 'I'm interested in seeing any young art that might have made it today. I feel it is very important to push for younger voices. So I'm kind of looking for young art that just inspires and regenerates what it means to be a creative in this country.' Photograph: Sarah Lee/The Guardian
The look: 'It's from Richard James. I wore it for the occasion. I wanted something colourful.' The exhibition: 'I think it's been a particularly good year. Farshid Moussavi has done a great job hanging the show. I've got a big piece in the main room, an optic disk called the Patterns of Absence. So, I'm looking forward to people appreciating that.' Photograph: Sarah Lee/The Guardian
The look : 'Because I am a creative, I design for myself, not to sell anything.' The exhibition : 'A few years ago, I exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, which was a huge privilege. Whenever I am able, I collect and get inspired. And of course, this year I submitted my work, but I didn't get in. Next year I'll try again. New year, new game.' Photograph: Sarah Lee/The Guardian
The look: 'Oh, so the blue is to match my eyes, but as you get older the colour fades. I'm 72. It's all about the sea, we love Mallorca, we love the sea, we love blue.' The exhibition: 'We try and come every year. We always buy something, we love prints – and we love champagne of course.'

Michelle Keegan stuns in a cut-out swimsuit as she shows off her figure three months after welcoming baby daughter with husband Mark Wright
Michelle Keegan stunned as she modelled a swimsuit on Tuesday three months after welcoming a baby daughter with her husband Mark Wright. Showing off her figure in the brown cut-out one piece, the actress, 38, posed for an Instagram update. Michelle teamed the swimwear, from her latest collection with Orfila Bee, with a cream sarong, which tied in a knot at the front. She accessorised with a straw cowboy hat, a woven beach bag and a pair of sunglasses. Michelle set up the brand in the summer of 2022 and previously revealed that Orfila was her Grandma's maiden name - describing her as a 'big influence' in her life. Elsewhere, the actress has reportedly signed a six-figure advertising deal to become the new face of Sky. The deal is Michelle's first major job since she gave birth to her daughter Palma - who she shares with Mark Wright - in March. Michelle will film a series of promo clips with fellow British actor Idris Elba, who already appears as the 'face'. A source told The Sun: 'Michelle has really been enjoying maternity leave with Palma, but she'll be back to work soon to film these new adverts for Sky. ' Brassic is ending after the seventh series and Michelle is keen to still be a part of the Sky brand. 'Landing this ad is huge for Michelle, as she's fast becoming a brand in her own right. Everything she touches seems to turn to gold.' After leaving ITV soap Corrie in 2014, Michelle's career took off, with hits such as BBC military drama Our Girl, Sky's Brassic and BBC's Australian drama Ten Pound Poms. Last year, she had the starring role as Maya Stern in Netflix's Harlan Coben thriller Fool Me Once - which racked up more than 100 million views globally. Michelle and Mark have been enjoying their time as parents and have been sharing small glimpses of Palma on their social media accounts. It's believed the couple chose the name Palma because of their strong links to Mallorca, which has been their go-to holiday destination for years and the setting for their pregnancy reveal photoshoot. The celebrity couple and their daughter Palma, three months, are currently at the swanky £300-a-night SO/ Sotogrande Spa & Golf Resort Hotel. The sun-soaked getaway is baby daughter Palma's first holiday abroad.

JK Rowling in bitter spat with Boy George as singer calls her ‘rich bored bully' over trans rights
JK Rowling has blasted Boy George for calling her a 'rich bored bully' – pointing out he once served time for whipping a male escort with a chain. The Harry Potter author posted a furious response on X after the Culture Club singer waded into a spat with another user who claimed Ms Rowling was 'the person maybe most responsible for the push to take away trans rights'. 2 When Ms Rowling asked the X user 'which rights have been taken away from trans people?', Boy George responded: 'The right to be left alone by a rich bored bully!' Ms Rowling posted a lengthy rebuttal in which she accused the Karma Chameleon singer, whose real name is George O'Dowd, of sneering at 'unenlightened plebs' who reject the notion that trans women are women. She added: 'I've never been given 15 months for handcuffing a man to a wall and beating him with a chain.' Boy George was jailed in 2009 for handcuffing an escort to his bed and inflicting 'wholly gratuitous violence' at a property in Shoreditch, east London, in April 2007. The court was told that the cocaine-fuelled attack on Audun Carlsen, a Norwegian man, had been 'premeditated and callous' and had left the victim 'traumatised'. Boy George had been found guilty at an earlier trial of false imprisonment and beating Carlsen with a chain with the help of another man, whom he had never identified. Ms Rowling rejected Boy George's claim that she was entitled. She pointed out that she had been poor and could empathise with women who relied on state-funded services, such as single-sex rape crisis, domestic abuse and homeless shelters. She said: 'You yourself have been convicted of violent assault. The overwhelming number of people who commit crimes of violence are male, just like you.' Ms Rowling has become one of the most outspoken campaigners for women-only spaces, becoming a target for criticism by transgender rights activists. The row broke out months after Supreme Court judges unanimously ruled that a woman is defined by biological sex under equality law.

Romeo Beckham enjoys boys' night out at family friend Gordon Ramsay's restaurant amid family feud and ex Kim Turnbull's statement
Romeo Beckham enjoyed a boys' night out on Monday at one of family friend Gordon Ramsay 's restaurants amid a family feud. The footballer, 22, was pictured in Mayfair, London as he headed into Lucky Cat in the capital. He wore camo trousers paired with an oversized light brown t-shirt as he showed off his freshly trimmed buzz cut. Romeo appeared to be in good spirts as he dined with a pal as his family feud rumbles on. It comes hours after he shared a cryptic post about 'spreading unnecessary lies' after his ex Kim Turnbull set the record straight on claims she dated his brother Brooklyn. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. He shared the post after his ex Kim, 24, shot down accusations that she was romantically involved with Brooklyn, 26, amid claims she is to blame for the rift between the two brothers, which has grown into a wider family feud. Romeo posted a snap of a scene from the iconic 1953 film Roman Holiday, where Audrey Hepburn's character utters the line: 'What the world needs is a return to sweetness and decency.' He then captioned the post: 'Be nice to people and don't spread unnecessary lies.' MailOnline has contacted a representative for Romeo Beckham for comment. Sharing a statement on her Instagram page on Monday, Kim said: 'I've avoided speaking on this topic to prevent adding fuel to the fire, however it's come to a point where I feel the need to address it so I can move on. 'I will not continue to receive harassment or be embarrassed on the basis of lies, to fit a certain narrative. 'I have never been romantically involved in ANY capacity at ANY point with the person in question. 'Nothing between us has occurred further than a school friendship at age 16. I would like to remove myself from the ongoing conversation & set the record straight for the sake of everyone involved.' Romeo posted a snap of a scene from the iconic 1953 film Roman Holiday, where Audrey Hepburn's character utters the line: 'What the world needs is a return to sweetness and decency' Kim had been at the centre of the row after Brooklyn's wife Nicola Peltz, 30, claimed that she felt uncomfortable around her, with sources close to the US heiress saying that Kim had dated Brooklyn when they were teenagers. Which she had now denied. Things came to a head when Brooklyn and Nicola were no shows at any of David's 50th birthday celebrations last month, with The Mail revealing that Kim has been made the 'scapegoat' in the feud. They failed to attend any of football legend David's five celebrations to mark his milestone birthday, including celebrations in Miami, London, Paris the Cotswolds and a boys fishing trip to Scotland. Brooklyn then refused to publicly acknowledge his father's Knighthood for his services to sport and charity as part of the King's Birthday Honours list. David, 50, said on the weekend: 'It's been an emotional week I must admit. For me and for my family. It's obviously very special. 'It's a huge honour, but one that has been shared with myself and my family and so, it's been emotional.' Meanwhile, the hot sauce businessman also failed to wish his dad a happy Father's Day, despite Becks attempting to reach out to him publicly. While gushing over his four children, the former footballer shared individual snaps of him with his eldest son down the years while tagging his Instagram in each.
