Where Colorado ranks as the best campus in the Big 12 according to College Football 26
We have already examined Colorado's top-ranked players, as well as how the team's overall ratings compare in various modes. Now let's go a little deeper.
If you take over Colorado in a dynasty save, you will need to recruit to contend, and that starts with knowing what the Buffs do well and what could be improved.
One grade that recruits will assuredly care about is campus lifestyle. Student athletes sometimes spend five years living in a place, so they want it to feel like home. Everyone loves Boulder, Colorado, and the campus, right? Here is how EA Sports grades Colorado's campus lifestyle in College Football 26
Colorado's College Football 26 campus lifestyle grade
EA Sports gives Colorado an "A-" grade for its campus lifestyle. A solid grade that hopefully factored in the tremendous views of the Flatiron mountains and the many places for students to hang out along Pearl Street.
Where does Colorado's campus lifestyle grade rank within the Big 12
If you're trying to win in recruiting, you have to beat out your rivals for top talent. It helps to have a better campus lifestyle grade than other Big 12 schools if you want to lure certain recruits to your school. So, where does Colorado's "A-" grade rank among the other Big 12 schools?
Colorado, with its "A-" grade, performs exceptionally well compared to the rest of the Big 12, ranking second in the entire conference. Arizona State owns the best campus lifestyle grade, and its "A+" mark is tied for first with six other schools. The Tempe versus Boulder debate can rage on, but both schools offer multiple ways to spend time in between game weekends.

Yankees 2025 MLB trade deadline buzz: New York sees Ryan McMahon as backup plan to Eugenio Suarez
Here's the latest Yankees news and buzz ahead of the July 31 MLB trade deadline... July 23, 11:45 p.m. As the Yankees continue to search for a potential new third baseman, the team's ranking of preferred candidates has reportedly been determined. According to Mark Feinsand, the Yankees are interested in Colorado Rockies third baseman Ryan McMahon. However, the team sees McMahon as a backup plan to trying to trade for Diamondbacks third baseman Eugenio Suarez. Suarez is the hottest hitter this trade deadline and the Yankees are just one of many teams inquiring about him, so the price tag may be too high for New York. YES Network's Jack Curry spoke about the Yankees' thoughts on the thirdbase market and poured some cold water on the names the team has been attached to. "The vibe I'm getting from the Yankees, they do not have a lot of exuberance for some of the names that have been attached to them: Suarez, [Pirates 3B Ke'Bryan] Hayes, McMahon," Curry said. "They are a very detail-oriented organization when they make these kinds of decisions." Curry criticized Suarez's defense and his fit on the team while also pointing out the contracts and lack of offense from Hayes and McMahon as potential reasons the Yankees don't acquire them. Hayes' contract still has five years of control at $30 million while McMahon is under contract through 2027 with $32 million remaining after this season. July 19, 8:27 p.m. The Yankees are in the market for a third baseman and have reportedly shown interest in the top target at this trade deadline. According to the New York Post's Jon Heyman, the Yankees are among the teams that have inquired about Diamondbacks third baseman Eugenio Suarez. Other teams include the Marinerrs and Cubs, among "many others."

Three Ohio State football players receive 2025 Big Ten Preseason Honors
The Big Ten Conference released the players included in its 2025 Preseason honors on Wednesday, and as usual, there are a number of Ohio State players included in the 16 names. The Buckeyes tied Penn State with the most players honored, with three each. The three players donning Scarlet and Gray for the 2025 season named to the Big Ten Preseason Honors list are safety Caleb Downs, receiver Jeremiah Smith, and linebacker Sonny Styles. Smith was the only player on the list of names selected unanimously by the media. Smith burst onto the scene last year as a freshman. He hauled in 76 passes for 1,315 yards and 15 touchdowns, putting together arguably the best season by a freshman wide receiver ever. Downs is widely considered the best defensive player in the country and should continue to be inserted all over the field to wreak havoc on the OSU defense once again. He tallied 81 tackles and two interceptions last season. Styles returns for his final season and is looking to build on a breakout year in which he finished with 100 tackles and six sacks. He should be even better this year. Michigan State football extends offer to Harrisburg (PA) 2027 safety
It was a day where the Michigan State football coaching staff has extended new offers to the 2027 recruiting class. First the Spartans extended an offer to running back Trey Martin, and following that, the Spartans extended an offer to a defensive back from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Julius Fuentes-Bream received the offer from Michigan State safeties coach James Adams. He is a 3-star product, according to Rivals, as a 6-foot-2, 190 pound safety. A member of Bishop McDevitt High School, Fuentes-Bream holds power conference offers from Arkansas, Cal, Cincinnati, Louisville, Minnesota, Missouri, Ole Miss, Pitt, UCLA and Wisconsin. With Michigan State defensive coordinator Joe Rossi being a Pennsylvania native, the Spartans have taken a keen interest in the state, especially on the defensive side of the ball, in recruiting.
