Watch: Angry Pakistan Shaheens player throws bat, yells at partner after horrible run out
A heated moment unfolded during a cricket match between Pakistan Shaheens and Bangladesh A when opening batter Nafay and Yasir Khan were involved in a run-out incident in the 12th over, leading to visible frustration and confrontation between the teammates.
The incident occurred after the opening partnership had built a strong foundation of 118 runs in the first 11 overs, with both batters having scored half-centuries.
The run-out occurred on the first ball of the 12th over when Khan faced right-arm pacer Mrittunjoy Chowdhury. Khan attempted to flick a ball that was angling across him into the leg side, which hit his pads and rolled across the pitch. Nafay immediately started running for a single while Khan hesitated to check if the ball was rolling back towards his stumps.

Despite Khan's signal to stop, Nafay continued his run down the pitch. Khan took a step forward before deciding against the single, but by then, the wicketkeeper had nearly collected the ball. Although Nafay tried to make it back to his crease, the ball was thrown accurately to Chowdhury at the non-striker's end, who removed the bails with Nafay well short of his ground.
The dismissal triggered an immediate and intense reaction from Nafay, who threw his bat onto the ground in frustration.

Upcoming top-class sports infrastructure reshapes urban planning in Ahmedabad clusters
Ahmedabad: The ripple effect of Ahmedabad's ambitious vision to potentially host the 2030 Commonwealth Games (CWG) and 2036 Olympic Games here is now visible in the city's urban blueprint. As part of the plan for Olympic-ready infrastructure coming up in Manipur-Godhavi area, the Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (Auda) is redrawing neighbouring Shela's Town Planning Scheme 1, reallocating land to accommodate more parking space, and wider roads. In Manipur-Godhavi, the state govt is developing the South West Ahmedabad Sports Arena (SWASA), which falls under TP Scheme 429. "Shela's TP Scheme 1 shares its northern boundary with TP Scheme 429, where the sports complex is coming up. Infrastructure continuity is vital, hence the revision," revealed a senior Auda official. As a consequence more land is now being allocated for wider roads and improve parking facilities in neighbouring areas. "Specifically, nearly 60,000 sq m more land has been allocated for road networks in Shela's TP Scheme 1, taking the total to 4,55,559 sq m. Parking allocation, which previously stood at zero, now measures 32,617 sq m. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Use an AI Writing Tool That Actually Understands Your Voice Grammarly Install Now Undo An additional 4,079 sq m has been earmarked for an urban forest," a senior Auda official said. ‘We've got to think about Jasprit Bumrah for the next 2-3 years, not next series': Former Team India physio
India's Jasprit Bumrah celebrates with teammate Washington Sundar (PTI Photo/R Senthilkumar) Mumbai: At a time when there's a raging debate amongst former cricketers and journalists around India's ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah 's workload, following his appearance in just three out of five Tests in the recently held series in England to manage his workload, former Team India physio John Gloster has offered an interesting perspective. Replying to a question on whether Bumrah should be given leeway in choosing which games he would play in a series/tournament, Glosters said, 'Look, I know that's a very controversial topic at the moment, and I'll happily tackle most controversial topics. I think that the athlete at the end of the day knows themselves better than anybody.' Go Beyond The Boundary with our YouTube channel. SUBSCRIBE NOW! Speaking at a book launch at the Cricket Club of India on Monday, Gloster said, 'Most athletes these days who have good sports teams around them are taking advice from those people. But intuitively, most athletes know what's right and what's wrong. And he is a mature athlete. He's a smart individual who knows exactly what he's doing.' The 31-year-old Bumrah took 14 wickets in three Tests at 26.00 in the Tendulkar-Anderson Trophy, and was under fire for missing the crucial third and fifth Tests of the series due to workload management. Overall, Bumrah has taken 219 wickets in 48 Tests at 19.82, with 15 five-wicket hauls, and is set to feature in the Asia Cup , which Gloster felt 'should not be a problem, since the tournament will be played in a T20 format and Bumrah has to bowl only four overs in a match.' Making a pertinent point about the need to manage Bumrah's workload to ensure that he lasts for more years rather than just focusing on how he could play more and more matches in a series, which could put him at risk of burnout or injury, Gloster said, 'And I think nine times out of ten, mature athletes who have good support are going to make the right decisions. And what we need to think about is not Bumrah for the next series or the series after that. We've got to think about Bumrah for the next two to three years.' Poll How important is workload management for professional athletes? Very important Somewhat important Not important Unsure 'In Jasprit's case, he had significant success when he came back. With the type of injury that he had, or has, he always knew that there were going to be times when it would need to be managed differently in order for him to continue to have success and stay playing at the highest level. And it is through good counsel that he comes to terms with that.' Gloster pointed out that it was crucial in Bumrah's case that he received the right guidance in terms of his workload and injury management, which meant that a lot of times, there could be 'others taking decisions for him,' in order for him to have a long and successful career in international cricket. 'He knows that his career and the length of his career, his sporting longevity, is going to be through sound counsel and sound advice. This is what it's going to be like. And he knows that there are going to be situations where others are going to have to make decisions for him in order for him to have the best and longest career that he's going to have,' Gloster said.
