Phoebe Burgess shows off her VERY bold lips as she turns heads in unusual pyjama inspired ensemble at Australian Fashion Week

Daily Mail12-05-2025
Phoebe Burgess always pushes the envelope when it comes to her eclectic sartorial tastes.
And on Monday, the former WAG ensured all eyes were on her as she attended Australian Fashion Week.
The 37-year-old arrived for the Carla Zampatti show dressed to the nines in some bright loungewear.
Phoebe chose a bold blue and red jumpsuit which sat close to her figure and featured a pussy bow at the neck as well as a wide legged cut.
It was hard to miss her dramatic lip look, with Phoebe coating her ample, over-lined put with a dark pink lipstick.
She chose a glowing makeup look with lots of highlighter and bronzed cheeks while wearing her blonde hair down in a casual, beachy do.
The budding infleuncer added a pair of white heels and carried a designer purse, otherwise keeping her accessories light.
Phoebe is a loving mother to two children, Poppy, eight, and Billy, six, who she shares with her ex-husband Sam Burgess.
On Friday, she gushed over her own mum Sarah's support as she prepared to celebrate Mother's Day.
The journalist-turned-influencer told The Daily Telegraph, her mother's role in her life is 'more important than ever' as she helps Phoebe raise her kids.
'I need her more than ever, and not in a way like when you're younger... but I get to bring my daughter home and she goes straight out into the horse arena with my mum who's taught her everything she knows about riding to this point,' she said.
'My son wakes up at 5.30 in the morning and puts his boots on with his jammies to feed the horses with my mum.
'She's definitely raising my kids with me which is so special.'
Phoebe went on to say her mother Sarah is her 'rock' and described her as 'so self sacrificing'.
It comes after Phoebe's ex Sam revealed he was expecting his second child with his hairdresser wife Lucy.
Sam, who is coaching Warrington in the UK's Super League, was married to Phoebe for four years before they split in 2019.
Sam and Lucy recently enjoyed a babymoon together in Capri, Italy, with Lucy sharing photos of the lavish getaway to Instagram.
In the images, the new bride, who married Sam just six months ago, was absolutely glowing.
The 33-year-old NRL WAG showed off her growing baby bump in a figure-hugging lace dress with a plunging neckline.
She cradled her baby bump and took in the breathtaking coastal views from their hotel balcony.
Another image showed the hairdresser's bare bump in a loved-up mirror selfie with Sam, 36.
A third photo captured the married couple lounging in the sun by the beach, while a fourth depicted them relaxing by a pool.
'A perfect weekend in Capri,' she captioned her post.
The pair already share daughter Robbie, who they welcomed in September 2023.
Sam married Lucy in a lavish Italian wedding after two years of dating.
He proposed to Lucy in June 2023, just nine months after they went public with their relationship.

Calls for Channel Nine to pull episode of The Block off the air - as critics say it features a segment 'glamourising guns'

The Block has been hit with demands to pull its Tuesday night episode before it can go to air, as critics claim it will 'glamourise guns' with a shooting competition. The episode, which will air at 7.30pm on Channel Nine and 9Now, sees Blockheads visit Clunes Field & Game for a clay target shooting challenge. However, Animal Justice Party MP Georgie Purcell took to Instagram in support of a petition demanding the segment be pulled. 'Tonight's episode of The Block features Clunes Field & Game, a group that promotes recreational shooting (including of native animals),' Purcell wrote on Tuesday. Purcell added that guns, 'have no place on family TV. This sends a dangerous message to children.' She then added, 'We're calling on Channel Nine to pull the episode now,' and provided a link to a petition for followers to voice their concerns. The petition says the Tuesday night episode of the Scott Cam-hosted show should be pulled 'for giving a national platform to the Clunes Field & Game Branch'. It claims the business 'promotes recreational hunting—killing animals for sport', and raises concerns about it being aired on family TV. 'Featuring them on a prime-time, family-friendly show normalises gun[s]...' the petition reads. When Daily Mail reached out to Nine for comment, a spokesperson said the clay shooting challenge was conducted safely, but did not reveal if the network had considered pulling the episode in response to the concerns. 'The Clay Shooting challenge to feature on The Block was an activity conducted under strict professional supervision, ensuring our contestants were kept safe at all times,' they said. According to the Field & Game Australia website, the organisation 'provides a range of activities and benefits' relating to 'conservation, hunting, and clay target sports'. The challenge segment on The Block episode in question will only be related to the clay target sports activities provided at the Clunes facility and will not include the recreational hunting of animals. Field & Game Australia also claims to promote 'conservation through pest animal hunting' and 'sustainable and ethical game hunting', among other things. Animal Justice Party MP Georgie Purcell took to Instagram in support of a petition demanding the segment be pulled Clunes Field & Game recently revealed the branch would be featured on the reality renovation show. 'Clunes Field & Game Branch will be featured on the hugely popular show "The Block" next Tuesday (August 19th) at 7:30 PM!' the business wrote on Instagram. 'Whether Clunes is your branch or not, don't miss the chance to see the club in action on national television!' The hashtags '#TheBlock #FGAlife #Hunting #Conservation #ClayTargetShooting' were also added to the caption.

Footy great turned radio star Corey Oates shocks listeners by revealing a VERY surprising detail about his sex life live on air

Former Brisbane star Corey Oates has blindsided fans of his radio show by revealing the surprising amount of time he and his wife waited to have sex after meeting each other. The 30-year-old ex-Broncos player turned radio star was discussing the topic with his KIIS 97.3 breakfast hosts, Robin and Kip, on Tuesday morning. Oates said he and his wife Tegan waited about a year to have sex after their first meeting. 'Because when we first met, it was a long time from when we first met to actually getting together,' Oates said. 'Honestly, it was like 11 years ago. I've had a lot of head knocks, alright. You're really trying to make me think now. That's still hard for me!' When he asked how long they waited after the first official date, Oates replied: 'Months, yeah. Five or six. I actually couldn't put a number on how many dates it was, to be honest.' Oates says he was to blame in the early days for the relationship not progressing smoothly. 'I always used to just disappear … Because I'm a horrible replier … I just get sick of texting,' he said. 'She pretty much used to like me then hate me because I would just disappear because that was just the way I was!' Oates revealed he had one other big reason for not pushing things. 'I was scared!' he said. 'If your father-in-law is one of the greatest enforcers for the State of Origin team, as in Gene Miles … you've got to be respectful of Gene Miles' daughter.' In 2024, Oates surprised footy fans by giving radio interview where he answered a question about which Broncos player had the largest manhood. He did an interview with KIIS 97.3 where a caller phoned in to ask which of his teammates was 'packing the most heat'. Oates laughed at the question and admitted that he didn't know for sure because not all the players stripped completely nude like he does in the changerooms. 'I walk around starkers,' he laughed. 'I scare the hell out of them all.' But after a few moments to think about it, he nominated teammate Jordan Riki. Some listeners were put off by the segment, but Riki didn't mind one bit. 'I'm truly thankful for big Oatsy, I owe him a few beers,' Riki said. 'It helps me out maybe finding a wife.'
