Watch: CNN reveal unseen footage of Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein
23/07/2025
CNN have unearthed and released new footage that sheds a fresh light on Donald Trump's past relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
Photos from 1993 have confirmed that Epstein attended the now-US President's wedding to Marla Maples, which was not widely known to the public.
As well as this, footage from a 1999 Victoria's Secret fashion event in New York shows the pair laughing and chatting together before the runway event.
🚨TRUMP EXPLODES AT CNN AFTER THEY REVEAL EPSTEIN WAS AT HIS WEDDING:
In a brief call with CNN today, Trump was asked about a photo of Epstein at his wedding. Trump said 'you've got to be kidding me,' before repeatedly calling CNN 'fake news' and hanging up. He's terrified. pic.twitter.com/Qleoc3GlLs — CALL TO ACTIVISM (@CalltoActivism) July 23, 2025
CNN's KFile uncovered the raw footage during a review of archival videos of Trump at events in the 1990s and 2000s.
In a 30-second call with CNN on Tuesday, the US President was asked about the wedding photos, to which he responded: 'You've got to be kidding me,' before repeatedly calling them 'fake news' and hanging up.
The 79-year-old has been under increasing pressure in recent months to release the 'Epstein Files', but is determined to sweep them under the rug and seemingly hope that they are just forgotten about. Jeffrey Epstein and Donald Trump in 1997. Pic:His relationship with Epstein has been questioned for a long time in the US, with plenty of photos of the pair – and some also including convicted sex offender Ghislaine Maxwell – circulating in the media for decades.
Allegations that Epstein sexually abused underage girls first surfaced in 2005, leading to his arrest a year later.
He was arrested again in 2019 on federal sex trafficking charges and later died in jail, fueling numerous conspiracy theories.
Trump and Epstein's relationship dates back to the 1980s, with the pair regularly spotted together at social events in Palm Beach and New York.
In 1993, photographer Dafydd Jones took photos at the opening of the Harley Davidson Café in New York, capturing the two together with Trump's arms around his two young children.
Two months after this, Jones was assigned to photograph Trump and Marla Maples' wedding, where he snapped Epstein entering the ceremony.
Jones told CNN: 'I wish now I took more of him with Trump. I had the job of photographing the Trump wedding, so I stood with the press and photographed him. The image you have is from the contact sheet – the negatives were lost.'
In 2002, Trump was quoted in New York Magazine profile of Epstein, calling him 'a terrific guy' and adding that he had known him for about 15 years.
He also stated: 'It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.' Pic:Recently, The Wall Street Journal reported on a 50th birthday greeting to Jeffrey Epstein that Trump allegedly sent in 2003 which included a sexually suggestive drawing and a reference to secrets they shared.
According to the newspaper, the letter contained the outline of a naked woman, apparently drawn with a marker pen, and had Trump's signature.
It reportedly ends with 'Happy Birthday – and may every day be another wonderful secret'.
Trump has since filed a lawsuit against Dow Jones, News Corp, Rupert Murdoch and two Wall Street Journal reporters, raising claims under federal libel law.
He vehemently denied the Journal report warning Murdoch, the founder of News Corp, the paper's parent company, that he planned to sue. Donald Trump has even faced backlash from some of his MAGA troops. Pic: Somodevilla/Getty Images
Now, the US Justice Department has asked lawyers for Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell if she would be willing to speak with prosecutors, while Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche said that he expects to meet with her in the coming days.
Maxwell is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for crimes including child sex trafficking.
Trump is facing a rare backlash from sections of his MAGA fanbase after they were led to believe that he would release an 'Epstein list' of clients upon his return to the White House.
It then came as a surprise to them when Attorney General Pam Bondi issued an official memo in July declaring that there was no such list.

Taoiseach pledges Ireland's support for ceasefire in Ukraine ahead of Trump's Putin summit
TAOISEACH Micheál Martin has pledged Ireland's support for peace talks aimed at bringing an end to the war in Ukraine. Mr Martin attended an online leaders' meeting of the Coalition of the Willing held yesterday (August 13) in support of war-torn Ukraine. Convened by President of France Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, the meeting was held ahead of a US-Russia Summit taking place in Alaska tomorrow (August 15). 'At a critical time for Ukraine and Europe, I joined my fellow leaders of the Coalition of the Willing to discuss recent developments and the ongoing engagement with our US partners ahead of President Trump's meeting with President Putin,' the Taoiseach said after the meeting. 'We also heard from President Zelenskyy who briefed us on the situation on the ground in Ukraine and the needs of Ukraine as it continues to defend itself against ongoing Russian aggression. 'The initiative of President Trump towards ending Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine and achieving a just and lasting peace was warmly welcomed,' he added. 'We agreed that unity is vital and that close transatlantic coordination will continue as part of our efforts to secure a ceasefire and a durable peace. During the meeting, the leaders agreed that any peace deal must have Ukraine's involvement. 'Recalling the EU leaders' statement of 12 August, there was agreement that the people of Ukraine must have the freedom to decide their future and that the path to peace in Ukraine cannot be decided without Ukraine,' Mr Martin said. 'Any diplomatic solution must protect Ukraine and Europe's security,' he added. The leaders further agreed that any 'meaningful negotiations on a just and lasting peace should be preceded by a ceasefire', the Taoiseach confirmed. 'We committed to continue to provide political, financial, economic, humanitarian, military and diplomatic support to Ukraine,' he added. 'There was also agreement to maintain pressure on Russia to agree to an unconditional ceasefire, including through the use of sanctions and other economic measures.' Mr Martin claimed a 'human dimension' must be at the heart of any peace deal. 'I believe that the human dimension must be a key component of a just and lasting peace for Ukraine,' he said. 'The Ukrainian children abducted by Russia must be returned to their families and communities,' he explained. 'Ireland will continue to support Ukraine, both bilaterally and through the EU, on its path towards EU membership and in its efforts to achieve a just and durable peace,' he added. Conor McGregor learns date for potential UFC comeback at White House event
Conor McGregor's potential UFC return could unfold on July 4, 2026, following boss Dana White's confirmation that the promotion's planned White House visit is locked in for that very date. Last month, US president Donald Trump made a string of major declarations during a rally in Iowa ahead of Independence Day. The 79-year-old outlined his intention to stage a UFC event on the White House grounds before up to 25,000 spectators. "And I even think we're going to have a UFC fight... Does anybody watch UFC and the great Dana White?" Trump asked the crowd of MAGA faithful. "We're going to have a UFC fight. We're going to have a UFC fight," Trump continued. "Think of this - on the grounds of the White House." Trump added: "We have a lot of land there. We're going to build a little - we're not, Dana's going to do it, Dana's great, one of a kind - we're going to have a UFC fight, championship fight, full fight, like 20-25,000 people." The occasion will form part of the 4 July festivities in the US to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the nation's establishment, reports the Mirror. White disclosed he has arrangements to meet with Trump and his daughter Ivanka at the end of the month to cement the proposals. It will represent the first occasion a UFC fight card would be staged at the White House. "It is definitely going to happen," White, a high-profile supporter of the US president, told CBS television. "I talked to him last night -- 'him' being the president -- and I'm flying out there at the end of this month, and I'm going to sit down and walk him through all the plans and the renderings, and we're going to start deciding what he wants and doesn't want." The UFC chief continued: "When he called me and asked me to do it, he said: 'I want Ivanka in the middle of this.' So Ivanka reached out to me, and her and I started talking about the possibilities, where it would be and, you know, I put together all the renderings." Donald Trump with Dana White (Image: AP) After Trump's declaration, numerous fighters were swift to volunteer their services for the event, including McGregor. In a social media post, the 37-year-old wrote: "Happy 4th of July, USA. Excited with President Trump announcing a UFC fight event at the White House! I would be honoured! Count me in! !". White appears enthusiastic about the prospect after McGregor revealed a conversation with the 55-year-old. The Irishman sent the UFC chief several voice messages - apparently concerning the proposed White House event - to which White responded: "I love it!" McGregor subsequently reinforced his stance during a recent BKFC event, declaring: "It's looking like I'm headed to the Oval Office again. That's where I'm headed next." When did Conor McGregor last fight? The former two-weight UFC champion hasn't stepped into the octagon since his loss to long-standing adversary Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in 2021. He was set to make a remarkable comeback last year against ex-Bellator titleholder Michael Chandler, but was compelled to withdraw from the bout after sustaining a training injury. During a recent appearance on Pardon My Take, White was questioned about McGregor's possible comeback. "He's been posting videos of himself training. He's back in the [testing] pool now," the UFC chief revealed. "He wants the White House fight." He continued: "If he starts training and getting in shape... that is the fight he wants. He keeps telling me he wants that fight, so we will see how it plays out over the next several months."

Starmer maintains Ukraine ceasefire is 'viable' ahead of London meeting with Zelenskyy
UK PRIME MINISTER Keir Starmer will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in London today Thursday, his office said, ahead of the key US-Russia summit in Alaska. Zelenskyy is to arrive at 9.30am at Downing Street, the prime minister's office said. Starmer has maintained there was now a 'viable' chance for a Ukraine ceasefire. Putin and Trump will meet tomorrow at an air base in Alaska, the first time the Russian leader has been permitted on Western soil since his February 2022 invasion of Ukraine which has killed tens of thousands of people. Advertisement With such high stakes, all sides were pushing hard in the hours before the meeting. Zelenskyy, who has refused to surrender territory to Russia, spoke on thje phone with Trump yesterday, as did European leaders who voiced confidence afterward that the US leader would seek a ceasefire rather than concessions by Kyiv. Trump himself sent mixed messages, saying that he could quickly organize a three-way summit afterward with both Zelenskyy and Putin but also warning of his impatience with Putin. 'There may be no second meeting because, if I feel that it's not appropriate to have it because I didn't get the answers that we have to have, then we are not going to have a second meeting,' Trump told reporters. Russia, Trump said, would face 'severe consequences' if it does not halt its offensive. But Trump said: 'If the first one goes okay, we'll have a quick second one,' involving both Putin and Zelenskyy. Trump has already ramped up tariffs on India, which has become a key buyer of Russian energy. Zelenskyy, after being berated by Trump at a February meeting in the White House, has publicly supported US diplomacy but made clear his deep skepticism. 'I have told my colleagues – the US president and our European friends – that Putin definitely does not want peace,' Zelenskyy said. German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, who welcomed Zelenskyy in Berlin, said Ukraine is ready to negotiate 'on territorial issues' but stressed that legal recognition of Russian occupations 'would not be up for debate.' NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte declared: 'The ball is now in Putin's court.'
