Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) officials announced that Green Line service has been restored following last week's fire that damaged tracks near the San Leandro station.
According to the agency, normal service to the line between Daly City and the Berryessa / North San Jose stations was restored Sunday.
"Crews had been working overnight since the Tuesday morning fire at San Leandro Station to replace wayside track equipment so Green Line service could be restored," the agency said.

The fire, which broke out before the morning commute on May 20, led to service being disrupted in much of the East Bay for much of the day. All stations were reopened the following day, but Green Line service was suspended as crews conducted repairs.
BART said on Thursday that an investigation was underway into the root cause of the fire. The agency said there was an electrical fault on its DC power system from a 1,000-volt DC cable that was part of BART's original system, and a fire started.
"The electrical fault should have been isolated, but it bypassed our various protections such as transfer trips and circuit breakers," BART said at the time. "While faults are not uncommon in the BART system, it is very rare that this fault escalated to this level."
Last week's fire was the second major disruption to BART service this month, following a computer glitch that led to the entire system being shut down on May 9.
Due to the Memorial Day holiday, trains are running on a Sunday schedule.

A homicide investigation is underway after a man was found shot to death behind a liquor store in Orange County on Sunday, police confirmed to KTLA. It happened before 5 p.m., according to the Santa Ana Police Department, outside of a strip mall on the intersection of Newhope and 1st streets. Police responded to reports of a shooting victim down behind Bottle Liquor and Spirit, located at 4502 W. 1st St. Officers arrived to find a man, estimated to be in his mid-40s, suffering from one gunshot wound. Authorities did not specify where the bullet wound was on the man's body. Details are limited, but officials ultimately pronounced the man dead at the scene. Footage from showed a large law enforcement presence at the scene, with multiple cruisers and yellow crime scene tape cordoning off the area around the liquor store. Santa Ana PD posted a public advisory to X at 5:47 p.m., saying, 'Police Activity: In the area of 1st Street and Newhope Street. Please stay away from the area.' Just before 6:30 p.m., a spokesperson for the police department told KTLA that authorities were waiting to have the coroner's office come out to verify whether the man's death was the result of a homicide or if it was self-inflicted. The beach was set to remain closed for at least 48 hours following the attack, according to California State Parks SAN MATEO COUNTY, Calif. - A surfer survived a close encounter with a shark just off Montara State Beach over the weekend, though his equipment wasn't so fortunate. The encounter Jens Heller paddled out from the beach on Saturday afternoon and was sitting on his board out on the water when he said he felt something brush against his leg. The next thing he knew, he was in the ocean. When he surfaced and looked back, he said all he could see was a black eye over a huge mouth chomping down on his surfboard. Heller said he snatched his board and made it back to shore as quickly as he could. Two other surfers were in the water with him at the time, and followed suit when they saw the attack. Once they all reached safety, one of the other surfers told Heller that he estimated the shark to be about 10-feet long. Heller said he only saw its face, and adrenaline precluded any further analysis. Heller told his story to Powerlines Productions – a Half Moon Bay-based show that has documented "the surfing stroke and lifestyle" since the 1980's. On the show, he displayed deep bite marks on both sides of his surfboard. Heller himself, however, was completely unhurt in the ordeal. The official account Adeline Lee of California State Parks confirmed to KTVU that lifeguards and peace officers responded about 2 p.m. on Saturday to Montara State Beach on reports of a non-injury shark attack that occurred about 100 yards offshore. Responders learned of the surfboard that had "sustained damage consistent with a shark bite," which prompted lifeguards to immediately clear the water and close the beach with shark closure signage, Lee said. Yarbrough's revenge: How a World Series ring inspired his win for the Yankees over the Dodgers
LOS ANGELES — Ryan Yarbrough picked up a dazzling World Series ring from his time with the Los Angeles Dodgers last season. Then he went out and beat them. The New York Yankees starter pitched one-run ball over six innings, struck out a season-high five and blanked the Dodgers' top four hitters in a 7-3 win Sunday night. 'I feel like I'm in a really good place right now and really trying to continue that,' Yarbrough said. 'I'm having a lot of fun.' The 33-year-old left-hander made 44 relief appearances between the Dodgers and Blue Jays last season. The Dodgers designated him for assignment on July 29 and the next day traded him to Toronto. So even though he wasn't around for their World Series victory over the Yankees last fall, Yarbrough earned a ring. He accepted it from Dodgers general manager Brandon Gomes on Friday behind home plate during batting practice. 'Trying to keep that a little discreet, especially with where we're at now, but kind of cool to be able to get that,' Yarbrough said.
