Katie Price, 46, reveals what is 'wrong' in her relationship with JJ Slater, 32, as she admits she 'doesn't feel free' amid rumours they had split
Katie Price has opened up about the issues in her relationship with JJ Slater following speculation they had split when she wiped him from her social media.
The glamour model, 46, confessed she 'didn't feel free' in her current relationship with JJ, 32, during a candid conversation about her love life.
Katie and JJ have been together for 18 months after first meeting following his TV appearance on Married At First Sight UK.
Speaking about her relationship on Paul C. Brunson's podcast We Need To Talk, Katie discussed how she feels about her romance.
When Paul told her she should feel 'happy' and 'free' with a partner, Katie admitted: 'I've never had that in any relationship. Never had any of them.
'And JJ, he's the most kind, genuine, easygoing, chilled person. But do I feel my happiest and do I feel free? No.
'It's not a reflection on him, maybe that's what I need to change for myself.'
Giving her some advice, Paul said: 'You need some time to yourself because you have to experience what freedom feels like.'
Katie explained: 'Freedom to me is like when I took my kids to Thailand for a month, just me and them. We felt free. Just little life experiences, seeing things, taking them to little adventures.'
Katie went on to discuss other concerns in her relationship as she shared fears that she spends too much time with JJ and not enough with her friends.
She continued: 'I just don't want to answer to anyone, I want them to fit in with me.' When you meet someone, it's natural to want to be with them all the time.
'Then the mistakes I've made in the past are then you're with them all the time. It becomes literally 24/7 because I've never been out with someone who's had a nine to five job.'
She went on: 'They've always had a job where, I suppose it's adaptable that they come with me.
'So in the beginning, that's all nice, but then you get into the habit of they're about too much, to the point you start not seeing your friends, because you're with them all the time, and then you get into this situation where they're so used to being with you all the time that then when you do say, "I'm gonna go and see a friend," it doesn't seem normal because you haven't done it.
'So I'm a bit worried that I've got like that with JJ.'
Last week the couple sparked rumours of a split after wiping all traces of each other from their respective Instagram accounts.
Katie has been involved in a stop-start relationship with JJ since publicly confirming they were romantically involved last February.
But she prompted inevitable speculation regarding her current relationship status after reshuffling her social media platform to prioritise pictures that focus on her children and passion for horse-riding.
She also drew attention to her pantomime role in Pinocchio - in which she plays a fairy - as well as promotional photos and videos for CBD oil and niche, online fashion retailers.
But there appears to be no room for JJ, who Katie once described as 'my absolute everything.'
Likewise, Katie is notably absent from his Instagram platform, with the first visible photo of the model seemingly shared last November.
Despite a clear shift in tone across social media, sources have denied claims of another rift in their relationship. A source told MailOnline: 'It's not true.'
The couple began dating in early 2024 and even sparked speculation of an engagement after Katie was pictured wearing a diamond while recovering from her sixth facelift in Turkey last year.
Price recently admitted she wouldn't date someone who has 'only slept with two or three' women as she likes to know a man has 'been around the block'.
The model has had a number of high-profile romances over the years - including a marriage to Peter Andre, a relationship with footballer Dwight Yorke and a cheeky kiss with Simon Cowell.
And in a recent interview on the Disruptors Podcast, Price laid bare exactly what she likes in a man.
'I like to know they've been around the block,' she remarked.
'I'd rather a man know what they're doing. If someone hadn't had many, I wouldn't really like that - isn't that weird!
'I'll ask them: "Do you know how many you've slept with and that?"
Price was also asked what the 'minimum number' of girls she would like a potential boyfriend to have slept with is.
She said: 'When I was younger, I'd be jealous but I think because I'm at my age, I just think if a man's been there, done it, knows what they want - they're more settled in their head aren't they.
'Imagine if it's like two or three girls [a man's body count], they don't even know what they're doing.
'My friends say "Katie, you're gross, that's disgusting, why would you want a man that's been everywhere" and I'm just like, I'd rather it.
'I want them to know what they're doing and to have been around.'
