Katie Price, 46, reveals what is 'wrong' in her relationship with JJ Slater, 32, as she admits she 'doesn't feel free' amid rumours they had split
Katie Price has opened up about the issues in her relationship with JJ Slater following speculation they had split when she wiped him from her social media. The glamour model, 46, confessed she 'didn't feel free' in her current relationship with JJ, 32, during a candid conversation about her love life. Katie and JJ have been together for 18 months after first meeting following his TV appearance on Married At First Sight UK. Speaking about her relationship on Paul C. Brunson's podcast We Need To Talk, Katie discussed how she feels about her romance. When Paul told her she should feel 'happy' and 'free' with a partner, Katie admitted: 'I've never had that in any relationship. Never had any of them. 'And JJ, he's the most kind, genuine, easygoing, chilled person. But do I feel my happiest and do I feel free? No. 'It's not a reflection on him, maybe that's what I need to change for myself.' Giving her some advice, Paul said: 'You need some time to yourself because you have to experience what freedom feels like.' Katie explained: 'Freedom to me is like when I took my kids to Thailand for a month, just me and them. We felt free. Just little life experiences, seeing things, taking them to little adventures.' Katie went on to discuss other concerns in her relationship as she shared fears that she spends too much time with JJ and not enough with her friends. She continued: 'I just don't want to answer to anyone, I want them to fit in with me.' When you meet someone, it's natural to want to be with them all the time. 'Then the mistakes I've made in the past are then you're with them all the time. It becomes literally 24/7 because I've never been out with someone who's had a nine to five job.' She went on: 'They've always had a job where, I suppose it's adaptable that they come with me. 'So in the beginning, that's all nice, but then you get into the habit of they're about too much, to the point you start not seeing your friends, because you're with them all the time, and then you get into this situation where they're so used to being with you all the time that then when you do say, "I'm gonna go and see a friend," it doesn't seem normal because you haven't done it. 'So I'm a bit worried that I've got like that with JJ.' Last week the couple sparked rumours of a split after wiping all traces of each other from their respective Instagram accounts. Katie has been involved in a stop-start relationship with JJ since publicly confirming they were romantically involved last February. But she prompted inevitable speculation regarding her current relationship status after reshuffling her social media platform to prioritise pictures that focus on her children and passion for horse-riding. She also drew attention to her pantomime role in Pinocchio - in which she plays a fairy - as well as promotional photos and videos for CBD oil and niche, online fashion retailers. But there appears to be no room for JJ, who Katie once described as 'my absolute everything.' Likewise, Katie is notably absent from his Instagram platform, with the first visible photo of the model seemingly shared last November. Despite a clear shift in tone across social media, sources have denied claims of another rift in their relationship. A source told MailOnline: 'It's not true.' The couple began dating in early 2024 and even sparked speculation of an engagement after Katie was pictured wearing a diamond while recovering from her sixth facelift in Turkey last year. Price recently admitted she wouldn't date someone who has 'only slept with two or three' women as she likes to know a man has 'been around the block'. The model has had a number of high-profile romances over the years - including a marriage to Peter Andre, a relationship with footballer Dwight Yorke and a cheeky kiss with Simon Cowell. And in a recent interview on the Disruptors Podcast, Price laid bare exactly what she likes in a man. 'I like to know they've been around the block,' she remarked. 'I'd rather a man know what they're doing. If someone hadn't had many, I wouldn't really like that - isn't that weird! 'I'll ask them: "Do you know how many you've slept with and that?" Price was also asked what the 'minimum number' of girls she would like a potential boyfriend to have slept with is. She said: 'When I was younger, I'd be jealous but I think because I'm at my age, I just think if a man's been there, done it, knows what they want - they're more settled in their head aren't they. 'Imagine if it's like two or three girls [a man's body count], they don't even know what they're doing. 'My friends say "Katie, you're gross, that's disgusting, why would you want a man that's been everywhere" and I'm just like, I'd rather it. 'I want them to know what they're doing and to have been around.'

Drag Race star says we need to talk about killer 'chemsex' party epidemic
Drag queen Bimini Bon Boulash has spoken out about Britain's growing problem around 'chemsex parties' which have been linked to drug-related deaths and sexual assault There's a dark shadow hanging over Britain's party scene. Concern has been raised after British drag queen Bimini Bon Boulash spoke out about their experiences with 'chemsex' parties, an underground phenomenon which sees people consuming illegal drugs to enhance sexual experiences. In an interview with Paul Brunson on the podcast We Need To Talk, the Ru Paul's Drag Race UK star opened up about the growing trend in the LGBTQ community. They said: '[Chemsex] is a crisis. There's a problem more so than ever before.' According to a report by the British HIV Association conducted in 2021, chemsex is a significant issue in several European countries, including Spain, Italy and Greece. The report found that Britain had the highest proportion of gay men engaging in chemsex, with more than 32% admitting to have participated in the activity. Bimini continued: 'No one's going out as much, nightclubs are shutting down. People don't need to go out now to meet other people. They can just go on an app and hook up with someone. You can basically, if you wanted to, go to a party at any time of the day.' 'I've seen first hand the change in drugs being used in clubs… There's not enough harm reduction. There's not enough information. We need more spaces that are community driven,' they added. Chemsex is also referred to as 'party and play' which is sometimes abbreviated to 'PnP'. While any drugs can be used in the act of 'chemsex', the three most popular are methamphetamine, mephedrone and GHB. All of these drugs fall under legal restrictions in the UK, and all can have devastating consequences if misused. Ketamine use has also been linked with chemsex. One of the most concerning parts of the crisis is that it's difficult to find data on it. Speaking to ITV News, a sexual health consultant Dr Naomi Fitzgerald revealed she has seen a rise in chemsex over the last decade. She said that a third of all drug related presentations at King's College Hospital were from GHB and crystal meth – two drugs closely linked with 'chemsex'. Social psychologist Marc Svensson spoke to ITV about the rise in chemsex drugs: "You could refer to this as a kind of a silent crisis or happening, we know that it's happening." Worse still, the drugs have also been linked to fatalities. The same investigation conducted by ITV in 2023 found that three people die every month from chemsex in London alone. Chemsex drugs like GHB also can also leave their users more vulnerable to sexual abuse. In 2019, Channel 4, Buzzfeed News and the Terrence Higgins Trust launched a major survey gay male GHB users. They found that almost half of users had overdosed and passed out from the drug. A further one in four said they knew of someone who had died as a result of using this drug. There is a lack of education around these drugs and their potentially fatalconsequences. Most of the 2,700 survey respondents admitted that they were unaware that snoring while on GHB could be a dangerous warning that someone is slipping into a lethal coma. Equally disturbing, the same survey found that the drug can also lead to sexual abuse. An overdose of GHB can lead to incoherency, convulsions and unconsciousness, making the user more vulnerable to assault. More than a quarter of respondents who used GHB reported being sexually assaulted while under the influence. The dark trend has also been closely linked with HIV infections. According to a study conducted between 2013 to 2016, men who used chemsex drugs or who had sex without a condom with multiple partners were at increased risk of acquiring the potentially fatal virus. Meanwhile, a survey conducted in Brazil found that chemsex has also been linked to the deadly monkeypox (or Mpox) virus. Researchers uncovered that the practice of chemsex was six times higher among those diagnosed with the virus than than those who had not contracted it.
