Oprah Winfrey Recreates Viral 'Wicked 'Finger-Holding Moment with Cynthia Erivo During 2025 Tony Awards: Watch

Cynthia Erivo and Oprah Winfrey recreated Erivo and Ariana Grande's viral "holding space" Wicked press tour meme at the 2025 Tony Awards on Sunday, June 8 "The only thing you need to do is just be yourself," Winfrey told Erivo, before Erivo grasped her finger and the two women smiled knowingly Erivo is hosting the ceremony, airing live now from New York City's Radio City Music Hall on CBS and Paramount+Cynthia Erivo is holding space for Oprah Winfrey at the 2025 Tony Awards. The actress and singer, 38, began the ceremony at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Sunday, June 8, with a sequence that showed her emerging from her dressing room on her way to the stage to host — only to be accosted by several people giving her tips on how to stage her opening number. The final person Erivo ran into before her big entrance? None other than icon Winfrey, 71, who gave her a useful pep talk. "What do you do when everyone is telling you what you need to do?" Erivo asked Winfrey, who replied, "Forget about them, babe! The only thing you need to do is just be yourself." The two women then smiled knowingly after Winfrey stuck out her right index finger, which Erivo grasped — a cheeky nod to the viral "holding space" moment between Erivo and her Wicked costar Ariana Grande that came out of their Wicked press tour last fall. View this post on Instagram A post shared by CBS (@cbstv) In the original interview that went viral in November 2024, Out journalist Tracy Gilchrist told Erivo and Grande, 31, that the LGBTQ+ community was connecting with and "holding space with" the lyrics of "Defying Gravity." In an interview with Variety the following month, Grande said that in that moment, Erivo looked like she might cry. So Grande provided support to her friend the only way she could think of in the moment: clutching Erivo's index finger and tapping her long acrylic nail. Fans quickly reposted and recreated the moment on social media following the exchange. Grande recalled of the interview to Variety, '[Gilchrist] said something that meant something to her, then it meant something totally different to [Erivo], and then she tried to kind of get somewhere else. I remember in the moment asking myself, 'Am I okay? Did I not hear something?' ... because she looks like she was about to cry again.' is now available in the Apple App Store! The 'Thank U, Next' singer then shared that she decided to grab Erivo's finger at that moment 'because I [thought] you might need something." 'And I don't know what the tapping was about,' Grande continued, as Erivo jokingly added, 'Tension, tension." Grande then reflected on all the memes about the interview that were shared on social media, stating that they were "so beautiful.' 'I feel really relieved that the world had the same experience with this moment that I did, because I felt like, 'Oh I'm not broken.' The best thing to is to really hold space with that,' she joked. The 'Truth Hurts' singer, 37, shared a video on Instagram of herself dancing in a pink and gray string bikini in front of a backyard pool on Saturday, June 7. She also wore a black face covering as she swayed and moved to a track of herself rapping. 'BLACK TRUCK A-- POKING OUT THA WINDOW,' she captioned the post — which is also one of the lyrics to the song that played in the background. Lizzo is no stranger to a fun summer photo shoot. She shared a video of herself dancing and lip-syncing in a yellow and blue bikini and high heels on May 24 to celebrate Memorial Day. The musician has been vocal on social media and in interviews about her weight loss journey since 2023. She also has reminded her followers that the ultimate goal of her weight loss was to improve her mental health. 'Exercise has helped me shift my mind, not my body," she said in a May 2023 TikTok video. Later, in a March 2024 interview with The New York Times, Lizzo revealed that she had been 'methodical' with her health plan and was 'losing weight very slowly.' She also told the outlet that her idea of body positivity had 'evolved into body neutrality.' 'I'm not going to lie and say I love my body every day,' she explained. 'The bottom line is, the way you feel about your body changes every single day. There are some days I adore my body, and others when I don't feel completely positive.' In January 2025, the 'About Damn Time' singer shared two mirror selfies on Instagram overlaid with screenshots from an app that showed her weight goal had been achieved. 'I did it,' she captioned the post. 'Today when I stepped on my scale, I reached my weight release goal. I haven't seen this number since 2014! During an April 7 interview on the On Purpose with Jay Shetty podcast, the singer said that she prefers the term 'weight release' to 'weight loss.' "My man, he's so funny,' she said, referring to her boyfriend, Myke Wright. 'He was the one that brought it to my attention at first. Because at first I was like, 'Oh my gosh, I lost five pounds,' and he was like, 'Where did it go?' " 'It's like, I don't think I want to lose anything. I think I want to win. I think I want to gain,' she added. Read the original article on People

All About Billie Eilish's Rumored Boyfriend, Nat Wolff

On June 8, Billie Eilish was photographed kissing musician Nat Wolff in Venice, Italy, on a balcony in the romantic city, seemingly enjoying some champagne together. The photos were published by gossip Instagram account DeuxMoi. Rumors have been circulating about the apparent couple since Wolff and his brother Alex started opening for Eilish during her Hit Me Hard and Soft tour. Here's everything to know about Wolff and his connection to Eilish so far. Wolff comes from an entertainment family: his mother is actress, writer, director, and producer Polly Draper, and his dad is the jazz pianist Michael Wolff. He grew up in New York City and told Complex in 2013 that he filmed his first short when he was only nine-years-old in Washington Square Park. As a kid, he told his family,'I want to be a child actor!' Wolff added, 'With two artist parents, I just grew up knowing that art was the most important thing and everything else was kind of secondary.' He and his brother Alex ended up starring in Nickelodeon's The Naked Brothers Band, produced by his mother and with music supervised by his father. He and Alex even toured with music from the show, some of which Wolff wrote. But he took a break to do some regular life stuff. 'I know a lot of the kids in the entertainment industry who didn't go through the normal stuff, like high school, with the peer pressures and heartbreak and everything,' Wolff told Complex. 'There's definitely a part missing in them, you know? You can see it in their eyes.' But Wolff returned to acting, with credits in Paper Towns (2015), The Fault in Our Stars (2014), Stella's Last Weekend (2018), Mainstream (2020) and more. The brothers returned to the stage under the moniker Nat & Alex Wolff, and have released two studio albums, according to a 2024 profile in Hero Magazine, which included an interview between them from his time on tour with Eilish. In 2023, they discussed their album Table For Two with Paste Magazine. 'When you're younger, you're very, very narrowly focused on, I don't know, the girl you're in love with, or whatever. And I think that's definitely still on the album. But I think more than ever, our deep roots of our family and our parents and where we grew up, and maybe some more all-encompassing things that haven't been addressed before are more addressed on this album,' Wolff said of the newest LP. After Wolff joined Eilish's tour in 2024, rumors the pair might be dating started circulating. In a profile of Eilish in Vogue 2024, Wolff said of Eilish, 'She's one of those people where almost everything she does, she does better than everyone else. She's like, 'Come see me ride my horse,' and the teacher says, 'You know, if she put all her energy into it, she could go to the Olympics.' You just have to kind of submit to the fact that she's going to be better than everyone else at everything.' He shared that he first met Eilish at the Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles. Both of them have Tourette's syndrome and they bonded over that and over being child stars. He made an appearance in her 'CHIHIRO' music video in 2024, and they were spotted in New York City in March 2025 going to the Lucille Lortel Theater together before bar-hopping in the East Village.
