Prince Harry and Meghan Markle not invited to Trooping the Colour 2025
ALBAWABA - Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were absent from Trooping the Colour 2025 amid ongoing royal tensions.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were not invited to Trooping the Colour, the annual military parade held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, to commemorate King Charles's birthday, for the third consecutive year.
Regardless of the monarch's actual birthday, the celebration is a yearly custom that commemorates King Charles' third coronation parade. It features a royal family get-together on the balcony of Buckingham Palace as well as a military demonstration.

The couple last attended Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee in June 2022, but they opted not to appear on the Buckingham Palace balcony and instead watched from a private chamber out of the public eye.
Due to continuing tensions, they will not be invited to the celebrations this year, as they were not invited in 2023 or 2024. After Prince Harry lost a legal battle to reclaim his personal security detail in Britain, the situation has gotten worse. In an interview with the BBC, he acknowledged that, despite his wish to patch things up, his father is not talking to him at the moment because of this situation.

Due to demonstrations in the city, Meghan's planned participation in a charity event in Los Angeles recognizing her community initiatives was postponed.
According to People magazine, while King Charles is still undergoing chemotherapy for his cancer, he will take part in the 2025 Trooping the Colour procession in his wooden car at the Royal Box for the second consecutive year.

Along with Queen Camilla, Prince Edward, Princess Anne, and a few of the king's cousins, Princess Kate and Prince William will also be present at the occasion with their kids, George, Charlotte, and Louis.
It is important to note that Prince Harry's children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, have only made one trip to the UK, during the Platinum Jubilee festivities in 2022, and have never been to this performance.
According to royal family scholar Sally Bedell Smith, Harry and his father's "lack of trust" is the primary reason for their split.

Indian billionaire Sunjay Kapur dies from bee sting
ALBAWABA - 53-year-old Indian billionaire, Sunjay Kapur, unexpectedly died on June 12 during a polo match in England after swallowing a bee, triggering a heart attack. The shocking news flooded social media, sparking widespread debate and speculation about the cause of death. According to NDTV, early reports revealed that Kapur might've suffered from an anaphylactic shock, a life-threatening allergic reaction when an individual is exposed to an allergen. Renowned Indian surgeon Naresh Trehan said that might've been the case. However, he added that anaphylactic shock cases are rare. Trehan explained to NDTV that Sunjay Kapur might've suffered from a heart attack after choking, or while playing polo. Trehan added that a post-mortem will reveal the exact cause of death. While efforts are being made to bring his body back to India, the process has suffered multiple delays due to legal paperwork regarding his US citizenship. During the match, Kapur reportedly told the umpire that he was choking and had "swallowed something" before collapsing. According to the Telegraph, he might've swallowed an insect or been stung by a bee. Sunjay Kapur was married to Indian actress Karisma Kapoor, and while the couple had two children together, they split in 2016 due to marital problems.

Official: Matheus Cunha Joins Manchester United in £62.5m Deal
Manchester United have officially announced the signing of Brazilian forward Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers for a reported £62.5 million, marking the club's first major signing of the summer under new manager Ruben Amorim. The deal is pending the completion of visa and registration requirements, but Cunha has already passed his medical and agreed personal terms. United released a brief statement confirming the agreement, welcoming the 25-year-old to Old Trafford. A Standout Season in the Premier League Cunha arrives following the best individual season of his career, having scored 15 goals and provided 6 assists in 33 Premier League matches — a tally that comfortably outshone any Manchester United player last season. The Red Devils finished the campaign with just 44 goals, their lowest total in the Premier League era. Across all competitions, Cunha netted 33 goals in 92 appearances for Wolves after joining from Atlético Madrid in January 2023. Financial Structure and Future Role United are set to pay the transfer fee in three instalments of £20.85 million over two years, after Wolves reportedly rejected a five-year payment plan. Cunha could also inherit the iconic No. 10 shirt previously worn by Marcus Rashford, whose future remains uncertain. Ambition and Motivation Cunha has made no secret of his desire to take the next step. Back in March, he said: 'I've made it clear I want to fight for titles and big things. I know my potential.' His departure from Wolves was emotional. In a message to fans, he wrote: 'This was the best season of my life. I made mistakes, I got things right, but I gave my all for this club. Thank you for the love.' A New-Look Attack in the Making With Rasmus Højlund underperforming and players like Garnacho, Sancho, Antony, and even Rashford linked with exits, Amorim is aiming to rebuild United's frontline. Cunha is expected to play a pivotal role in that overhaul, with United also tracking new attacking targets including Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford and Liam Delap from Ipswich Town.
