The second episode, which showcases the auditions held in Blackpool, opened with a 'roar-some' performance from the band Hevisaurus. But before the acts started, viewers were entertained by the entrance of the judges.

In an Instagram post, Johnson said: 'Rest in peace, Terry Bollea aka the immortal Hulk Hogan. 'To millions of little kids you were a childhood hero – myself included. 'In 1984, I gave you your 'Hulkster' headband back, in the locker room in Madison Square Garden – I was the lucky kid caught it when you threw it in the crowd. 'You were wrestling Mr Wonderful, Paul Orndorff, that night in the main event. You were shocked and so happy after the match because you told me that was your very last headband and if it weren't for me, you'd have no way of getting that exact one made again. 'You promised me that you would get more made and give me a 'Hulkster' headband of my own as a thank you gift. 'A month later in Madison Square Garden, you did just that. You kept your word, with a handshake and a 'thanks kid', and that meant the world to that little 12 year old boy.'

Strictly stars cut contact with Wynne Evans after controversy

Wynne Evans has lost touch with the stars of Strictly Come Dancing Wynne Evans has admitted that the Strictly Come Dancing cast have broken ties with him. The Welsh opera singer's time on Strictly last year was marred by controversy, sparked by an awkward moment where Katya Jones moved Evans' hand from the middle of her waist and a second moment where the professional dancer rejected his high five on the BBC show. This year, the BBC dropped Evans — including from his role on BBC Radio Wales — after he apologised for using "inappropriate language" on the Strictly tour. This week Strictly rehearsals began as the BBC show cast prepare to return to our screens in September with new famous faces taking part in the competition. Now, last year's contestant, Evans, has held a candid Q&A session with listeners on his own radio station, The Wynne Evans Show, on Thursday, where he spoke about Strictly. Strictly Come Dancing pros don't speak to Wynne Evans Everyone wanted to know whether the singer was still in touch with any of the Strictly professionals or the 2024 celebrity partners; the question kept coming up. Answering it for the first time, he said: "No I'm not, I'm not in contact with any of them [The Strictly cast]... Once I had a few messages from them since, not really, no. Now today, I'm not in contact with any of them today. Absolutely none of them." When he was asked again, he explained: "Absolutely none of them [the Strictly professional dancers]. I have had some conversations with a couple of the judges who have been really nice to me, I have to say." Later, Evans claimed the professional dancers don't speak to him because they were "scared for themselves". "I understand that," he added. "Especially for the pro dancers, Strictly is all they have. If Strictly doesn't exist, they have got a problem." Despite losing touch with his professional dance partner Jones, he praised her. Evans said they "really got on well". "She's a really nice person," he said. "I'm not going to say anything negative about Katya." He explained he could reach out to her. "I could text her if I wanted, I'm not in touch," Evans said. Elsewhere on his radio show, Evans shared his frustration at some people who he felt could have "done more" to support him. "They said they'd have to check with their PR first," he said. The Wynne Evans Show The 53-year-old has been hosting The Wynne Evans Show since June. It is live every weekday from 9am to 12pm on the website Previously, he explained: "This show is for my amazing community — The Wynners — who've supported me through thick and thin. After so many messages and calls asking me to come back, I knew I had to do something special. "This show is my way of giving back – a space where we can come together every morning, share a laugh, play the music we love, and just be ourselves. It's more than a show – it's a proper family." Dianne Buswell reveals baby plans in rare comment about Joe Sugg

Dianne Buswell has given fans a rare glimpse into her relationship with Joe Sugg and shared her hopes of starting a family. The Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer, 36, first met the 33-year-old YouTuber and author when they were paired together on the 16th series of the BBC dance competition in 2018. While they didn't take home the Glitterball trophy, romance soon blossomed between them. After the final, Sugg posted on Instagram: 'I may not have won the glitterball, but I've won something a million times more special.' Now, six years on, Buswell has opened up about their connection and future plans in a new interview. 'When Joe and I met, it wasn't until the show ended that we realised we missed each other's company a lot – our relationship went from there,' she told Prima magazine. 'We always got on, he was so funny to me, and I loved how creative he was. 'We've always wanted kids, it's just about finding the right time. I don't feel worried about taking time out from dancing. I just don't see the point in worrying. When everything aligns, it will happen. I have to have that vision. I like to practise manifestation, I'm quite spiritual.' The couple, who now live together in the countryside, are known for keeping much of their relationship private. But the Australian star said their fame doesn't interfere with everyday life, most of the time. 'Joe and I forget we're famous sometimes – when we're out and about, we'll be like, 'Why are they looking at us? Ah, okay, I remember,'' she said. 'It doesn't feel that difficult to have a relationship in the public eye. We're good at not taking notice of things that are written about us.' She added that the biggest challenge is maintaining boundaries around their home life. 'Sometimes people are obsessed with wanting to find out things, like where we live, so it can be hard in terms of privacy.' Read the full interview in the September issue of Prima, on sale Wednesday July 30.
