The summer of 2025 will surely be remembered as one with multiple mini heatwaves sweeping across the country and people feeling like they are over-heating and even having difficulty sleeping as the weather reaches higher temperatures.
An efficient and effective fan that can be easily controlled, doesn't take up too much space, and can also be easily moved about the home, has been a product search online for many people desperate to cool down
With another few days of heatwave on the way Amazon has a limited time deal on their number one best selling tower fan. The Pureborne 36" Smart Tower Fan with remote, app and touch control has been reduced by a huge 80% from £324.99 to £64.99.

One buyer raves about the Pureborne 36" Smart Tower Fan, saying: "Impressed with this fan. It looks good and works very well. It has 4 speeds and multiple settings including a sleep setting. The fan is quiet and powerful and I am pleased with it! It is good value for money."
According to Amazon the tower fan has been purchased over 900 times worldwide in the past month and offers a buyer a space saving solution with the base diameter of 32cm and a height of 91cm and four speed settings.

Back on Amazon the happy customer reviews include one that says: "Extremely pleased with the fan, very quiet plus the bonus of having a sleep timer and an added remote so if used in the bedroom can be turned off without leaving the bed at night, ideal for what we want as it fits in the corner of the bedroom out of the way."
The tower fan is smart too - it has normal, natural, sleep and auto modes. The manufacturer states that the natural wind mode ensures the tower fan's speed changes every five seconds to simulate natural, varying breezes.
The sleep wind mode makes the fan oscillate and decreases speed every 30 minutes by up to two levels for undisturbed sleep. The display of the tower fan automatically turns off after 30 seconds in sleep mode and after 10 minutes in other modes.

In addition, the Pureborne 36" Smart Tower Fan is equipped with a one to 12 hour pre-set timer for automatic shut-off, saving energy and providing added safety. It can be controlled via remote, touch panel, app & voice control, and the settings can be adjusted from anywhere using the app on a mobile phone.
When oscillating, the tower fan covers a 90 degree angle and covers an area of about 7.5 metres square. The fan also automatically changes speed with the room temperature - the cooler the room becomes, the slower the fan.

These added 'smart features' have impressed some buyers, with one commenting: "I love this fan, assembly was quick and hassle free and connecting to the app and Alexa was a breeze! There are bar codes on the side of the fan, all you have to do is scan them with your phone and then take it from there, it is that easy."
However, a few customers were less than impressed with the tower fan, with the difference of opinion with the majority of reviewers concerning the app control, the sound of the fan and one buyer maybe hasn't quite grasped the modes that decrease or shut the fan off.

One buyer says: "It's a good fan but it's very loud. Even on the lowest setting", while another comments: "Pretty loud, fairly weak and randomly stops blowing air as it turns."
However another Amazon customer is clearly a fan of this fan, giving it a five-star review and saying: "The best fan I've ever owned. Fantastic cool breeze blowing, remote control, quiet, amazing value, I am well impressed."
