Ohio State football head coach Ryan Day wraps up spring, reflects on NFL draft
The Ohio State football program is at the top of college football right now. The team won the College Football Playoff national championship last season, and just finished off a historic NFL draft where the program saw 14 players selected in the seven-round event last weekend.
Head coach Ryan Day just won the "Super 11 Coach of the Year Award" for his media availability, and that was on display again on Wednesday when he met with the local media to wrap up spring, reflect on the NFL draft, and look ahead to the offseason. There weren't any real earthshattering revelations provided -- which is to be expected because there's still a long way to go all the way up to fall camp -- but he did provide a little insight to where things are with the quarterback battle, offensive line, and more.

Ohio State still has plenty of position battles and gaps to fill from a lot of talent that graduated and left for the NFL, so we'll continue to follow the team in the offseason and as things ramp up to fall camp. MIAMI GARDENS — Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has led the NFL in passer rating and completion percentage and passing yards. Miami Dolphins impressed by Zach Wilson's 'supreme arm talent'
MIAMI GARDENS — Miami Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel has been impressed by the mental toughness of backup quarterback Zach Wilson, who once flamed out with the New York Jets as a No. 2 overall pick. "He looks like a guy that has been through some s--- and found his way through it," McDaniel said on the first day of mandatory minicamp. Advertisement Wilson, 25, spent last season resetting with the Denver Broncos. He did not play though he flashed in the preseason and benefitted from working with Sean Payton. It was a bit of a healing process, not too dissimilar from when Tua Tagovailoa emerged from the Brian Flores era with scars. "He's come close to about as much scrutiny as one could have. You're a top three draft pick in New York City.
