Georgina Rodriguez has announced her engagement to Cristiano Ronaldo after eight years of dating and raising five children together.
Star social media personality Georgina Rodriguez announced her engagement to Cristiano Ronaldo on Monday, after eight years of dating and raising five children together. The two have been dating since they met nine years ago, when the star footballer spotted Rodriguez at a Gucci store in Madrid.
Having dated for so long, the marriage question was often raised to both Ronaldo and Georgina.
'I'm 1000% sure that we will get married one day. I always tell her: 'When we get that click.' Like everything in our life and she knows what I'm talking about. It could be in a year, or it could be in six months, or it could be in a month," Ronaldo had said on the Netflix show I Am Georgina.
Ronaldo and Georgina share five children, including twins Eva Maria and Mateo, daughter Alana, daughter Bella, as well as Cristiano Jr., who he welcomed from a previous relationship.
Ronaldo and Georgina marked their first official appearance at the Best FIFA Football Awards, which were held in Zurich in January 2017.
Ronaldo and Georgina welcomed their first set of twins through surrogacy in June 2017. In November, he welcomed their daughter Alana.
In April 2022, Ronaldo and Georgina announced the demise of Angel, Bella's newborn twin brother.
Over the past few years, the couple have sparked engagement rumours on several occasions, besides enjoying their family trips.
