Panchayat Season 4 Cast Fees: Jitendra Kumar, who plays Abhishek Tripathi, is the highest-paid actor of the season. Reportedly, he charged Rs 70,000 per episode.
Panchayat Season 4 Cast Fees: Panchayat is one of the most popular web series, which recently returned with its fourth season. Starring Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Faisal Malik, Chandan Roy, Sanvikaa, Durgesh Kumar, Sunita Rajwar and Pankaj Jha in the lead, the show enjoys a massive fan following. But do you know how much each of these actors earned per episode of Panchayat?
If a recent report by NDTV is to be believed, Jitendra Kumar, who plays the sachiv of Phulera, Abhishek Tripathi, is the highest-paid actor of the season. Reportedly, he charged Rs 70,000 per episode. He is followed by Neena Gupta, who was reportedly paid Rs 50,000 per episode.
Raghubir Yadav, who has become a household name as Pradhan ji, reportedly received Rs 40,000 per episode of the show. On the other hand, Chandan Roy aks Vikas earned a total of Rs 1,60,000 from Panchayat season 4. However, News18 Showsha could not independently verify these claims.
Meanwhile, talking about Panchayat 4, the season picks up in Phulera as two strong-headed women, Manju Devi and Kranti Devi, go head-to-head in the local elections. What follows is a chaotic campaign led largely by their husbands, Brij Bhushan (Pradhan ji) and Banrakas. With tricks, taunts and an all-out village spectacle, the election dominates the season's storyline.
Panchayat 4 received mixed reviews from all. News18 Showsha gave the show a 4-star rating. 'The biggest letdown this season is the sluggish pacing and narrow focus. The entire narrative revolves around the election battle, with little to no development in the other subplots that once gave Panchayat its layered charm. We're left waiting until the second half of the final episode just to find out the election results, by then, the excitement has long worn off," a part of our review read.
'The show's signature blend of humour, heart and simplicity is largely absent. Even the potential to explore the dynamic between Neena Gupta and Sunita Rajwar – two power-packed performers – is missed. Sunita, who brings a natural fire to her character, deserved more screen time and meaningful interaction with Neena's Manju Devi," it added.
Panchayat 4 is now streaming on Prime Video.

The Traitors: Maheep Kapoor Calls Karan Johar's Show 'Mentally, Physically' Tiring

Last Updated: Maheep Kapoor said it is easy for viewers to judge the contestants as they already know who the traitors are. Week 2 of Prime Video's The Traitors was a wild ride, packed with twists, turns, and explosive exits. Maheep Kapoor and Ashish Vidyarthi were voted out in a fiery Circle of Shaq, the Traitors murdered Mukesh Chhabra, and Raftaar's shocking elimination followed a full-blown meltdown from Sufi Motiwala. While talking about the intense experience on the show, Maheep Kapoor said, 'We were mentally and physically very tired. And I've said it before, and I'm saying it again. It's very easy to sit in your living room and switch on the TV, and say… You guys know who the Traitors are, we didn't. It's very convenient to say, 'What are they doing? Why are they doing that?' It's a mind game. It's all psychological." Speaking about his shocking exit from the show, Raftaar added, 'I am toh quite happy, matlab yeh pehla aisa show hai, jisme exit hona bhi ijjat vali baat hai 'Yeh toh bada smart tha, isko nikalna zaroori tha.' Toh, it is a great thing. That is the format of the show I like." Ashish Vidhyarthi said, 'Yeh ek game hai, lekin yeh real life ko mimic karta hai. Real life mein bhi hum sochte hain ki hum samajdaar hain, lekin humein khud nahi pata chalta kab hum bhed chaal ka hissa ban jaate hain. So what you see in Traitors iss jo duniya me ho raha hai ki aapko lagta hai ki aap bohot samajhdar hai. And that's when the individual realises. So it was a masterclass in life for me." Reflecting on his experience on the show, Mukesh Chhabra said, 'Yeh reality show sabse alag hai. Jaise inhone show plan kiya hai, woh hi kamal ka hai. Jiske saath baith kar main abhi khana kha raha hoon, woh hi agle pal meri opinion badal deta hai, sirf ek plate lene jaate hi. Peeche mudh ke dekho toh sab badal chuka hota hai. Har second log ek doosre ke baare mein apna opinion badal rahe hain, wahi toh is show ka asli khel hai." Produced by BBC Studios India Productions, Prime Video brings the Indian adaptation of IDTV's BAFTA and Emmy award-winning global format, The Traitors, in collaboration with All3Media International. Episodes 1 to 6 of The Traitors are now streaming on Prime Video, with new episodes dropping every Thursday at 8 PM.

Aamir Khan 's 'Sitaare Zameen Par' which released on Friday, June 20 picked up extremely well over the weekend with positive word of mouth. But as expected it saw a major drop on Monday. But now how it sustains all through the week will play a huge role in determining the film's fate. 'Sitaare Zameen Par' though, has surpassed expectations and despite being a niche film and not like a 'Ghajini' or 'Dangal', the film has managed to create a dent at the box office. On Sunday, it saw a further jump of 34.90 percent according to Sacnilk and made Rs 27.25 crore. From that, the film saw a major drop on Monday and made Rs 8.5 crore. Now even Tuesday, has begun on a similar note as Monday and one expects the movie to sustain the same as that number. On Tuesday, the movie made the same as the Monday number which is Rs 8.5 crore. The numbers on Tuesday could also have been more due to more footfalls as at many theatres like PVR Inox, the ticket price is at a discounted rate on Tuesday. The fact that it remained steady is a great sign. On Wednesday, up till afternoon, the film has made Rs 1.78crore. The total collection now stands at Rs 76.93 crore. Samantha Ruth Prabhu breaks silence on receiving Rs 200 crore alimony after divorce with Naga Chaitanya: 'I waited...'

Samantha Ruth Prabhu breaks silence on receiving Rs 200 crore alimony after divorce with Naga Chaitanya: 'I waited...' In the glitzy and glamorous world of Bollywood, every move and every action of celebrities is under high scrutiny. Whether it's their OOTD fits, appearance at an event, or their interpersonal relationships. One such case is of a beloved former couple, whose divorce had fans' hearts in splits. And soon after their separation, rumours of alimony kept doing the rounds. Yes, we are talking about the former South Indian couple Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The duo married in 2017; however, their union didn't last long, and in 2021, they decided to part ways. For four years, speculations of Samantha receiving Rs. 200 crores kept doing the rounds; however, now the real story has finally come out, and it is not what met the eye. After their separation in 2021, narratives of Samantha taking Rs. 200 crores alimony were built; however, later, it turned out that all this information was false and baseless. Back when Samantha Prabhu appeared for an interview in Koffee With Karan, she addressed the alimony rumours and remarked sarcastically, 'I took ₹200 crore? I waited every morning for it to appear in my account!' She further added that these claims are false, and she hasn't received a single penny. 'The truth is—I didn't take a single penny from anyone,' She said. Naga Chaitanya also appeared in a podcast where he clarified his side of the story. Addressing the gossip around the divorce, he said, 'We both decided to part ways and chose to respect each other. We are moving forward in our own lives with peace and respect.' While their separation left the fans heartbroken and shattered, what's good is that both celebrities are doing well in their personal and professional life. While Samantha is enjoying her growing fan following, Naga Chaitanya has found love again. Naga began dating Sobhita Dhulipala after his divorce, which later evolved into marriage. However, despite their failed marriage, it's commendable to see that both celebrities have handled the situation with utmost maturity and dignity, without playing the dirty game of blame.
