Congolese star to remain at Pirates despite limited game time
'Obviously, Kimvuidi is disappointed with the lack of first-team opportunities, but he will be staying at the club,' said a source close to the situation.
Karim Kimvuidi is set to remain with Orlando Pirates despite limited appearances under head coach Jose Riveiro this season.
The Congolese attacking midfielder has attracted interest from several Betway Premiership rivals, but the Buccaneers have no intention of parting ways with him.

So far this season, Kimvuidi has featured in only four league matches, a significant drop from the 17 appearances he made during the previous campaign.
The 23-year-old has found himself down in the pecking order, behind Kabelo Dlamini, Thalente Mbatha, Patrick Maswangayi, and Makhehlene Makhaula.
'Obviously, Kimvuidi is disappointed with the lack of first-team opportunities, but he will be staying at the club,' said a source close to the situation.
'The club still believes in his potential. He's young and they are confident he can still play a key role at Pirates beyond this season. There have been several enquiries and loan offers, but they were considered.'

Kimvuidi joined Pirates in 2023 from Maritzburg United. Since his arrival, he has lifted two MTN8 trophies and was part of the squad that won the 2024 Nedbank Cup.

Bafana B striker Radiopane urges attackers to be ruthless against Comoros
South Africa striker Boitumelo Radiopane is urging attackers to be decisive in front of goal when they take on Comoros in their Cosafa Cup semifinal clash at Free State Stadium on Friday (6pm). Bafana finished top of Group A but the Orlando Pirates attacker said they missed a lot of opportunities but he is confident they have learnt from those moments and ready to deliver against Comoros. 'We tried every day to finish the chances we get in training because that is where the work starts,' he said. 'I am happy with the group of players I'm surrounded with because we all want to reach the same goal, which is to win, and to do that we have to score as many goals as we can. 'All I can say regarding our decision-making in front of the goals is we need to be calm and not be selfish. If I'm not in a good position to score, I have to give it to the next player who is in the better position and to win the game for us. 'The only way to reward our defence is to score for them because they are doing everything well and everything they can for the opposition not to strike at us.' Radiopane said the mood in the South African camp is a mix of calm confidence and quiet determination.

'Al Ahly appreciate their coaches more than Chiefs and Pirates'
Former Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Pitso Mosimane feels Al Ahly fans appreciate their coaches more than Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs. The 60-year-old has been a free agent since leaving Iran earlier this year. Having spent three years at Al Ahly, Mosimane has been well celebrated in Egypt, where he won numerous trophies, including two CAF Champions League titles. 'I think I am more appreciated a little bit outside than in my country, but yes, I am loved in the country,' he told SuperSport TV . 'You see, every time I move around, people give me respect, and I am humbled. It is the game of football that has given me that chance, but in Egypt, it is another story, and that is [Al Ahly], the biggest club, one of the biggest clubs in the world.' Pitso has mentioned South African football culture, where supporters are not intrigued by local coaches upon meeting them. During his Bafana Bafana and Mamelodi Sundowns days, Mosimane would walk into a mall, and be greeted by some fans while others would continue with their business of the day. In Egypt, however, things are different according to Jingles. 'Look, Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs are big in the country, we all know that, but the coach of Orlando Pirates and Chiefs can pass [in town] and it is okay. 'In Egypt, if you coach Al Ahly, you don't pass, they stop you and they treat you like God,' Mosimane concluded. In recent weeks, Pitso Mosimane has been one of the coaches linked to Orlando Pirates following the departure of Jose Riveiro. Kaizer Chiefs not interested in signing Percy Tau
NOT INTERESTED Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly not interested in signing Percy Tau despite his openness to a R450k monthly salary, citing strategic team plans. Picture: BackpagePix In the explosive chat, Marawa acting as hypothetical Chiefs management said: "I offer you R450,000 a month. Do you accept?" Following a revealing Percy Tau interview with Robert Marawa on 94.7 on Wednesday when the player said he would be open to being offered a R450k salary per month at Kaizer Chiefs , a new report reveals that the Soweto Giants may not be interested in the forward. Kaizer Chiefs' Interest in Percy Tau: Uncertainty Surrounds Transfer Rumours It seemed then all but confirmed that Chiefs would be ready to sign the player. However, a Soccer Laduma report quoting an undisclosed source seemed to indicate the opposite. "We hope most people listened to that interview and they heard what Percy Tau said,' the source said. 'It wasn't (just) about Chiefs. It's believed that the club is not interested in him. And again it's not about the R450k salary or the two-year salary. It's about what Chiefs' football department and the technical team are looking at for their plans and the players they are looking at and at the moment Percy Tau is not that player. 'Apparently he is not better than what Khama Billiat and Keagan Dolly were at the same stage when they signed them. Chiefs want to avoid making the same mistakes they did in the past.' Last week, Chiefs announced the departure of Chivaviro, who has left the club with immediate effect. The forward joined Chiefs in June 2023, and the club chose not to extend his two-year contract. In total, Chivaviro has made 45 appearances for Chiefs while scoring nine goals. Chivaviro did not reach his full potential with Chiefs, as he struggled with injury during the 2023/2024 season. Chiefs completed another deflating season in the Betway Premiership as they ended ninth, their second league campaign in a row in which they finished outside the top eight. @Michael_Sherman IOL Sport
