EastEnders' Suki Panesar's 'downfall sealed' as fans slam 'disgusting' behaviour

Daily Mirror2 days ago
EastEnders fans have been left 'disgusted' by Suki's suggestions since learning about her granddaughter Avani's pregnancy - but they don't think she'll be getting away scot-free...
Tonight's EastEnders left some fans feeling "uncomfortable" as Suki Panesar once again tried to convince her granddaughter Avani Nandra-Hart not to have an abortion.

During tonight's episode, Avani was seen in the clinic, waiting to have a termination, with Suki by her side. However, during the long waiting times, her grandmother continued to raise her concerns - trying to change Avani's mind. Suki even went as far as to suggesting she'd pay for everything Avani would need to carry the baby.

Throughout the week, Suki has been telling Avani she'd bring up her child as her own with her partner Eve, despite Eve adamant she doesn't want children. Avani brought this up in the clinic, only for Suki to tell her her partner would come around.

Eventually, Suki told Avani she would stop pressuring her but as the nurse came tell Avani they were ready to see her, the teen, who is pregnant with Joel's baby, changed her mind. Suki looked relieved, but at the moment she's the only one who knows about the pregnancy.
Parents Priya and Ravi are none the wiser, but fans are certain Suki won't get away lightly when they find out what she's been saying to their daughter. Plus, a few weeks ago we saw Ravi fuming when he realised Suki let Bernie get away with their money - will it all get too much for him?

Right now, it seems like he's too preoccupied drug dealing with Harry and Okie - but fans are sure he'll drop everything when he finds out what's going on with his daughter.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan wrote: "Priya is going to make mincemeat out of Suki when this all comes out," as another penned: "There's a lot of other things Suki hasn't considered: Ravi and Priya, Joel and his family, Avani changes her mind last minute. When it comes out about the pregnancy, no doubt the social worker would get involved."

Elsewhere, fans have been left "disgusted" by Suki's "manipulation" towards her granddaughter. After watching the episode, fuming fans took to X, formerly known as Twitter to express their dismay.
One fan penned: "Suki manipulating Avani into keeping her baby is so gross. She's never been a nice person but this is just disgusting."

"I feel what Suki is doing to Avani is worse then when she faked having cancer and feel she may not be redeemed ( and I'm speaking as a #Sukeve fan) Really worrying behaviour from her recently towards Avani," wrote a second.
A third penned: "Today's # eastenders was actually quite uncomfortable to watch - Suki's constant harassment of Avani, wanting to control her and wanting to make decisions about her body are so disgusting."
Will Avani go ahead with Suki's plans or will Ravi and Priya find out?

Danny Dyer's staggering earnings revealed after being 'so skint' when BBC offered him EastEnders role that he 'couldn't afford a lager'

Danny Dyer staggering earnings have been revealed after he raked in huge amounts from a string of hit shows over the last year. The actor, 47, recently admitted he was once 'so skint' he couldn't even afford to buy BBC execs a lager when they offered him a role on EastEnders in 2013. But thanks to his successes, accounts filed at Companies House have revealed that his firm, Arty Bucco, made £1.4million in the last financial year. The figures show Danny has made a huge £712,221 more than the previous year. In 2023, he quit his role as Mick Carter on the BBC soap EastEnders after nine years to try other things and the move appears to have paid off. Since then, he's leaned into his softer side and taken on a variety of different roles - including Jilly Cooper's Rivals and an emotional appearance on ITV 's new show The Assembly. Danny also reportedly bagged £100,000 for presenting television series The Wall. He recently revealed his children get driven to their swish private school in a Bentley, after his role in EastEnders and a series of top films saw his bank account swell. But it all could have been so different for national treasure Danny, who previously told the Jonathan Ross Show: 'I didn't have an audition, they rung me up, I had a touch. 'They said, "Listen we want you to come in the show, take over the Queen Vic" and at the time I was skint and I just had about enough petrol money to get there, that's the truth. 'They thought I was a multimillionaire and I met them in the hotel and I walked in absolutely skint, not a bean about me. I thought, I hope they don't ask me to get them a lager because I've got no dough. 'They sat me on a throne and said how great I was and how they wanted me to come in and take over the Vic and [I was] going to have a really big storyline about having a gay son.' Danny explained he made out it was no big deal, but secretly he was overjoyed by the career-saving offer. He said: 'I was like, "Wow, I want to do a cartwheel in front of them" but I thought, "Play it down, don't show your bolt too early." The actor added: 'I went, "I'll think about it" and then I walked out and I did a couple of backflips on the way out! I played it right down, I didn't want to look desperate and I was desperate.' Speaking about what he might have had to do if the role didn't come up, Danny said: 'I might have had to go and load skips Jon, I just couldn't catch a cold, I was doing nightclub appearances.' In 2023, the Marching Powder star put his past financial woes down to a run of 's*** films' including 2012's Run For Your Wife which made just £602 in its opening weekend. He told The Sun: 'I was on my a**e. I was f***ed. I had made too many bad films. I'd had my shot and made some good stuff. I had resorted to going to nightclubs and waving off balconies. 'That chips away at your soul that I'll tell ya. Where do you go from there?' His life now is worlds away from the dark pre-EastEnders days and Danny told ITV's new show The Assembly last month that his kids head to their private school in Chigwell in style. Each episode of the series sees a different celebrity face questions from a group of autistic, neurodivergent and learning disabled people, which will force them to cast aside their media training, with no topic off limits. And in last week's instalment, he said that because of his fame, his kids have never been on a bus and instead get driven 'door to door in a Bentley'. Danny, who hails from east London, has three children with his wife Joanne – Sunnie, 18, Arty, 11, and reality star Dani, 28, who won the fourth series of ITV dating show Love Island. He revealed in March that they were going to send his son to a private school in Chigwell.

Love Island fans 'rumble secret' behind Angel's magic trick during villa talent show

It was time for the annual talent show in tonight's Love Island, and once again the Islanders didn't disappoint - although it wouldn't be a challenge without drama If there's one thing Love Island fans look forward to every year other than the Heart Rate Challenge, it's the Talent Show. Tonight it was time for the Islanders to show off their hidden talents, and they didn't dissapoint. ‌ Cach was first up to show off his dance moves, but it wasn't the first time he'd shown off his killer moves. Last week, he took to the stage at the Love Island festival - even gaining praise from Tinie Tempah himself. ‌ His moves of course impressed his partner Toni, but it was Angel who fans were most impressed with. Teaming up as a double act, Ty and Angel performed a magic trick, as Cach picked out the seven of hearts. ‌ Angel correctly guessed his card, but it didn't stop there. Later on, Angel told Blu to check under his seat, and low and behold, it was the seven of hearts. "HOW HAS SHE DONE THAT?" Megan screamed. Fans on X, formerly known as Twitter also had the same reaction, as one penned: "Okay but on a real how did Angel do that magic trick??" while another questioned: "Wait but how did Angel do that lowkey?" It looks like fans were left flabbergasted behind Angel's tricks, but others weren't so convinced, as one penned: "We know that trick Angel Boring." Another thought they'd worked out exactly how Angel had done it, as they suspected: "this magic show was set up right? #LoveIsland." A third unconvinced fan tweeted: "producers telling angel the card i'm not moved." ‌ Despite the villa and fans being impressed with Angel's skills, nothing was getting past Vegas girl Toni as she told the cameras the duo won't be getting their Vegas residency anytime soon. Elsewhere, Yas taught her fellow Islanders how to perfect their posture. Throughout the course of the show, fans and fellow Islanders have praised Yas on her posture, and tonight, she provided a masterclass on how to be just like her. Placing a book on her head, Yas walked to and from the firepit, as the Islanders watched on in awe. Yas isn't the only member of her family to be praised for her great posture. During the Meet The Family episodes, her mother and sister Zara entered the villa - and received the same compliments. Last but not least, Helena didn't hold back with her airline themed roast, as she told Shakira she needed an "extra seat belt to secure her man," referring to her ex Harry.
