While Petersen and Bvuma signed new deals last season, and Bvuma joined from TS Galaxy last winter, Amakhosi is expected to part ways with at least one of them.
Rumours suggest Ntwari could be sacrificed for the purpose of opening up a foreign spot. The Premier Soccer League permits no more than five foreign players on each team.

In the meantime, reports say Sekhukhune United and Bafana Bafana's newly-capped 27-year-old goalkeeper, Leaner, has been noticed by the Glamour Boys.
'Kaizer Chiefs are set to make an enquiry to Sekhukhune United over goalkeeper Renaldo Leaner, who has broken into the senior national team,' iDiski Times reported.
Kaizer Chiefs midfielder fights drug addiction
'The 27-year-old iKamva graduate earned his way into the Sekhukhune line-up shortly after the arrival of Eric Tinkler and made a huge impression, more notably in the Nedbank Cup, where he pulled off a Man of the Match display in their 1-0 loss to Mamelodi Sundowns.
The publication further confirmed that Sekhukhune are in no position to lose Learner.
'Babina Noko have since parted ways with veteran goalkeeper Badra Ali Sangare and Lloydt Kazapua, and while they are in the market for replacements, the chance of granting a sale to Kaizer Chiefs for Learner remains slim at present,' the outlet concluded.

Stellenbosch vs Kaizer Chiefs: AmaKhosi's flawless start to the season sparks high hopes
Kaizer Chiefs secured a 2-0 victory over Stellenbosch in their Betway Premiership opener, marking a promising start to the season despite coach Nasreddine Nabi's absence due to a family emergency. Picture: Ayanda Ndamande/Independent Media Like a year ago, Kaizer Chiefs once more won their opening Betway Premiership clash of the season as hopes for the Soweto Giants soared. In their trip to Athlone Stadium on Sunday evening, their hosts Stellenbosch FC were dealt a critical blow inside the first quarter hour mark as Siviwe Nkwali was red-carded for a foul on Chiefs' Mduduzi Shabalala just outside the box. The resultant free-kick was expertly taken by Nkosingiphile Ngcobo who made it 1-0. The scoreline would remain for the rest of the contest until added time when Chiefs were awarded a penalty, in what would have been the final move of the game. Glody Lilepo stepped up and converted from the spot to seal a 2-0 scoreline.

His performances at the start of the league last season were not up to standard, but after discussions, he worked hard to improve. He ended the season with us, starting the last two matches. 'In the pre-season camps, he was one of the best players, so he deserved to play. We didn't give him a gift — his performance showed he earned his place in the team.' Nabi is expected to miss Chiefs' next league outing, a home clash with Polokwane City on Tuesday night, but Ben Youssef hopes to have a fuller squad available soon. New signings Flavio Silva, Ethan Chislett, and Nkanyiso Shinga were unavailable against Stellenbosch, reportedly due to their paperwork not yet being finalised. 'I think when the new players join the team, it will be better for us, and they will give us more solutions,' Ben Youssef added. Chiefs will be aiming to build on this positive start and maintain momentum in the early stages of the campaign.

Youssef hails Kaizer Chiefs' winning start to Premiership season
Kaizer Chiefs' first assistant coach Khalil Ben Youssef, standing in for the absent head coach Nasreddine Nabi, said he was pleased the team had started the season on a winning note after their 2-0 Premiership win over Stellenbosch FC at Athlone Stadium. 'We promised the AmaKhosi family a win, and we are also pleased for our coach and his wife. We are so proud of our players,' said Youssef afterwards. 'Our players played very well. We suffered a little bit in the first half because, after we scored following their red card, we thought that we had finished the game. Playing against a 10-man opposition, Chiefs found themselves battling to contain a wave of aggressive attacks by Stellenbosch. This forced us to change our tactics in the second half.
